A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written Domestic Suspense book.
It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a huge description list of unique characters, settings, facts etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great Domestic Suspense movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

Two couples who appear to have it all--what is their life really like behind closed doors? Monica and Blake, he is a chef with a popular, very successful restaurant and she is available for him whenever he wants her. Sara and Ross, he is also a chef but works in someone else's restaurant after losing his very successful career in banking and Sara is his wife. The couples are friends but couldn't be more different. They both have secrets in their past that affect their current life and current secrets that cause them to do things they otherwise might not do.
Fair warning there are explicit sex scenes throughout the book. The book is rather choppy, jumping from one character to another without warning so you have to pay attention to keep up. That was a little bothersome, but I kept reading. Secrets come out, secrets cause problems.
The ending was so abrupt that I emailed the author because I thought I was missing part of the book! I was disappointed that it stopped the way that it did. I was given this book for free but this is my honest review. I

Okay, so I read To the Swift and Loyal seems to be a stand alone. That being said Blake, Monica and Felix are present and accounted for here too. The story is set in Dallas this time instead of Memphis. This book is more enjoyable than the first because there are two story lines going and Shannon is hard core. I would date her.
Black, white, biracial, Hispanic and Asian cast. That's refreshing. The book takes a look at a marriage in crisis, domestic violence and the lies we tell to maintain a relationship. The subplot involving Shannon was just as interesting as Blake and Ross's storylines. I would describe the writing as clean and sexy. I like it dirty but it worked. Gold star for the Dallas setting. On a side note that picture on here doesn't even look remotely like the cover of the novel.
