Transfusion Saga #6

Tree of Souls

Rate this book
Amelia…

It all started with a kiss that ended in a
world of pain.
Well, now I was on the run from that pain and my map of sorrows was only leading to one place,
To a lover’s resurrection.

But hey, a life on the run shouldn’t be too hard right, just throw in a Mob boss, a few movie cars, a phantom dance and a camping trip and what you had was a recipe for…
Oh, who was I kidding!

I was being hunted by a Vampire King and this time, he wasn’t just out for blood, but he was out for something far more dangerous than that…
He was out to reclaim my heart.
A heart he had broken.
And this time, the only way to fix it was with the truth.

The truth about the Tree of Souls.

It was a good read, but I'm not going to lie I'm just a little disappointed. The whole book was him chasing her and just as the action begun it ended the book 😭 I will read the next one because I love the characters. but hopefully more action and forgiveness. I'm ready to see them together at last

Well Stephanie Hudson has done it this time
There is so much in this that you can't stop reading
This book had me hooked from page 1 to the end.
Totally loved reading more from Lucius side of thing more then Amelia side.
Wow what an epic cliff hanger I’d say I hate it but let’s be honest it is worth the wait to find out what happens all those other books leading up to this part and what an amazing ride and series this has been. Can not wait till the next instalment.
As this series is not repetitive at all it doesn’t continue with repeated words and story lines this is the perfect reading and writing .

A little disappointed I love these but this whole book went nowhere until the last few chapters. It was just both POVs while Amelia ran, I will still read the next because I love the characters and I do love the story but this one was just disappointing (3.5 stars)

What a ride!
This book picks up initially 2 months from where the last one ended then backtracks, starting with Lucius's POV.( Which is one that definitely did not disappoint) Finally, we have the air cleared at least between Dom and Lucius pertaining to Amelia. And you can guess what happens. Violence, ha ha. Amelia leads Lucius on a hunt and for once he is actually challenged. The feels in this book are insanely strong from both Amelia and Lucius. They are in torment without each other and it's pretty excruciating. I enjoyed this book. It explores more of Lucius's POV and it was a welcome change. ( I did miss some of Amelia's badassery but there are still a few scenes sprinkled in there) However, I'm getting so tired of these cliffhangers. We are finally getting to the heart of the matter and BAM end. I can only take comfort in the fact the next book will be here relatively soon.

Another installment of Lucius and Amelia's love story from the delightful Mrs Hudson. Just like all her previous books this gave me a full range of emotions to feel throughout. This particular one brought out more negative emotions than positive ones. Sadness, frustration and doubt being the top 3. Most romances have what one would consider a difficult phase, this book is theirs, and worse was that in typical fashion of Stephanie's books it has ended in a cliff hanger where their love story could possibly go through an even rougher stage. I slammed the cover down on my Kindle, exclaiming "Damn it". Now I have to wait for the next instalment due on the 21st of May. Praying to the Gods for a time machine.

Now this was some angsty book! She really made him grovel, and I loved it!
Since the very beginning, I've had some trouble with the sort-of/maybe relationship between Amelia's mom and Lucius. So I was happy to see that this subject was once again dragged out in the open and that it caused some major angst.

Ok soo I really just want my own Lucius! He’s just perfect. I would have liked him to find her sooner in the book. I felt they were finally back together and like 5 minutes later the book ended. And what an ending. I sat for a while after finishing the book and just tried to process it all. Now I’m just impatiently waiting for the next book. I can’t wait to read it!! 😍❤️

This started off with a huge bang. Lucius ticks me off, he doesn't listen to her and then lies, lies, lies, and Amelia drives me crazy being wishy washy. But man, I just couldn't put it down.

I'm not sure what happened with this book, but it was REALLY difficult to read. Not only was it extremely frustrating for the running/chasing to go on so long (the total time they've actually been together is shorter than the time apart), but AGAIN? Seriously? How many times is she going to hear something, misinterpret it and run away? It just got tiring, with no major reward in this book. I was hoping this was the final book, but apparently, it is going to continue. I'm not sure if I will be continuing with this series.

I've a very confused opinion about this series, the plot is great but the events goes very slowly with too much details like details of details kind of story, and repeated events from Luc's POV but really there's no other POV. He described his and Amelia's feelings and thoughts just like she described his and her with the same words, like they looking to each other through glass. So it was just repetition, it wasn't boring. Little bit disappointed. But what I can say the story really good, l loved it.

Spoiler

Well I can’t say in surprised that she is not human. Makes since. And I said from the beginning Lucius needed to tell her the truth. Not in his own time but like this was like first date information. Or even when they reconciled. He could have avoided Amelia finding out that he had stolen part of her soul the way she is finding out. I mean seriously the souls of an angel and first born vampire. That some info you would need to know.

The biggest issue is that everyone around her would have to know. Her mom and Lucius first and foremost. It’s like they know the mistakes they made and they keep making them. Never learning that need to tell everything. Not hide it. I can assume also that Dom doesn’t know either.

I’m telling you, Lucius needed to tell her why he done what he done. Everything done in dark comes to light at some point. And it appears Lucius and Keira have a lot to account for when it comes to Amelia.

So far the Transfusion saga has been a five star read, but it is time to bring Amelia and Lucius's story to a close. I read some of the reviews for the next book #7, and they were not that good. It sounds as though book 7 is a filler book, that adds nothing to the story. This was my issue with the Afterlife saga. It finally did end and I read all the books, but I was done with Afterlife, this was a couple of years ago, so it's been awhile. I recently started the Transfusion saga, because Lucius was my favorite character, second to Dom. Again, after 6 books no end in sight. I just want the saga to end, with Lucius and Amelia getting married, and living happily ever after. Once that book comes out, I will read it.

Book Five picks up where Amelia flees and Lucius is in hot pursuit.

Alot of secrets came to light in this book as Draven is finally informed of Amelia and Lucious. This book does not disappoint! There was so much going on in this book that I cannot comment on it without giving away spoilers. Just know that Lucius exposes a lot of himself emotionally and the reader, along with Amelia's family, finally understands the gravity of his love for Amelia.

We got a glimpse of some new family members and the mention of some others that I am secretly hoping they receive their own book. ;)

Once again, ends in a cliffhanger to where it is finally addressed who or WHAT Amelia really is. You will definitely run to book #7 because of it!

Happy reading!

So many secrets revealed for Lucius and Amelia

I am reading this series and enjoying the characters and the new families. This book six is about the chase game that Amelia leads Lucius on due to his betrayal. There are so many secrets going around that it’s difficult to keep up with it. For Amelia, her main gig is that of a runner. Any time something happens, Amelia runs away. The problem is that her running is not against the bad guys but Amelia runs from dealing with feelings whether from her father, King Draven, or Lucius. She is having a difficult time trusting anyone in this book. Read On!

I know your as shocked as me to see my ratings go from 2 to 4 but hey what can I say. I really did enjoy this one.
Our characters have come so far and it really showed here with this car and mouse part of the series. I felt like we got all we needed that was lacking in the other books. We found out our girl isn't human which we knew but now we know why and how!! And we found the plot! Finally.
This one had a lot more action and moving in the fast pace story and move she did! I felt like I just travelled the whole of America here in just 300 pages but it was worth it! Now let's go find out what happens next!

Omg I thought this was the last in the series and now I know I was wrong, but I have to wait just under a week for it’s release, arggggg.
This read once agin had me gripped, I’m so annoyed I have to wait for the next read but I’m sure it will be so worth it. This read had me irritated, sad, but also happy. So many different aspects bring this series together. Lucius and Amelia are being tested on so many levels but will they reach the end in tact, or will the truth finally be too much for Amelia?
Can’t wait to find out.

Stephanie Hudson is a Genius

Oh my. What a sensational addition to the series. Stephanie draws you in to her books and keeps you there. Transfixed to the storyline. And I must say I’m so damn thankful I found her books.
Amelia is on the run. She shows just how capable she is of taking care of herself. Her heartbreak however may be her undoing.
Lucias. Vampire King. Goes back to his earlier days of being a hunter. Only this time he’s hunting his chosen one. Nothing will stop him. Or will it?

The secret is out ........."Dom, nothing gets in the way of me claiming what is mine"

Lucius is determined to get Amelia back and my god what an adventure she has to try and evade his capture. Amelia yet again shows us that you don't need to be a supernatural to be a badass. I do however have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Amelia, I love so many parts of her character but I really struggle with her astounding ability to completely misinterpret a situation and refuse to see sense.

In true Stephanie fashion the ending had me on the edge of my seat. Book 7 here I come

Amelia the Fighter Chick

Stephanie Hudson's Tree Of Souls continues Lucius and Amelia's quest to find out who and what is causing his vampires to turn rogue. Layla, everyone's favorite enemy returns as an added blast from the past. Souls also features Luc's frantic search up and down the East coast as he tries to locate Amelia, who has run away from Afterlife after misinterpreting a conversation she overheard between her mother and Luc. Once again, a story filled with pulse pounding action, and steamy romance. What more could a reader ask for than that?

Skip to the end spoilers alert

So about 2/3 of the book nothing happens as Amalia is running from Lucius and he is trying to catch her and only when he does something starts to happen. But the story gets so twisted I’m starting to lose direction. So Lucius which is in fact Judas stole apart of Amalias sole and now you can skip straight to the next book. Books 2-3-4 were good the rest not so much.

Amelia continues the outsmarting of the supernaturals

Amelia can’t get any respect so like John Wick she uses her ingenuity and skills to outsmart anyone who doesn’t give her respect. Now she is afraid to tell her father who Lucius is to her. They are really close and he wants to come clean to Dom but she has to get through the many attempts on her life since that box came into her life before she deals with gopher overprotective family.

Tree of souls (Transfusion book 6) by Stephanie Hudson is a 4 ⭐️ read.
Amelia is on the run and Vampire King Lucius is hunting her.
I really struggled with this book, it took me a year from when I started it until I finally finished it, the first 57% of the book took me 3 weeks and the last part took me 1 year and 2 days as I forced myself to finish it and the last part was fully enjoyable, I’m really looking forward to the next one.

amazing as all Stephanie’s book are

The series just keeps getting better and better. Glad I started listening to them after the series is complete I do not think I could handle the cliffhanger at the end of the books before the next one. Wish they were all on audio :( I am using text to speech to listen since I cannot read for long periods of time and I can finish a book in a day and get some housework done at the same time.

Finally Amelia and Lucius have gotten back together and are starting to sort their problems, but as always there is a twist in the plot of life and another spanner is thrown into the mix. The tree of souls is dying Amelia and Lucius have finally found the tree BUT can Amelia save the tree and save the vampire race along with her mother and the man she loves or is all lost.

Wow. Stephanie Hudson did it again.
If you think Amelias and Lucius roller coaster ride will finally slow down a bit... BAM! .... It becomes even more worse. - Really, how much more can this girl bear?
(If someone would tell me now that the witch is his wife.... uuhH.. I would probably belief it). JESUS. Lucius you´re a true troublemaker.

great book, full of intrigue , fighting, romance, misunderstandings, and a good plot

This was the best of the books so far. gone was the silly childish stuff and back was a furious vampire set to hunt his chosen one. Amelia was not a silly girl she was a kick ass intelligent woman who users her fighting skills and her brain to out wit those chasing her. Really enjoyed this book
