It's been fifteen years and now those Bennett girls are all grown up, finished with college and ready to take on the world in their new careers. Close as ever, Kennedy, Victoria, Monica and Sebrina decide not to return to Georgia, but to move north to St. Paul, Minnesota. They have plans to succeed at all of their goals. Falling in love isn't on the agenda.

This was an interesting way to write a book. While it is one book, it is actually two separate stories, not an anthology or box set. Ms. Jackson has taken two of four characters and expanded their individual stories into this one tome. Cousins Kennedy and Victoria both deserved their stories, even though they are connected, and this book did that brilliantly. Great read!
Kennedy and Haddison and Victoria and Cortez's stories jump started the stories of the now four Bennett cousins who are the offspring of Michael and his deceased wife Lynda Bennett and Fayrene and Victor Bennett Jr. all grownup. Haddisson I remember from the time the Mob tried to take over Lee Madaris's hotel and tried to also kill his now wife Carly. Cortez is the younger cousin of the Masters men who married Alexia Bennett and Brandy Bennett. Both stories getting to the altar took my breath away especially Kennedy and Haddison's story. Victoria and Cortez's story did not have the drama of a hostage situation but there was romantic intrigue to get this couple to the point of going all in. Adults really must be careful how they live their lives in front of their children to spare the children from emotional scarring that is oftentimes hard to repair. Over all I loved the Bennetts's wedding and I am looking forward to all of the releases this year from Mrs. Jackson especially the Bennett's Christmas. As always Mrs Jackson this is another phenomenal novel about another beloved clan from your extensive repertoire of written offerings!! Thank you very much.
If you're looking for mystery and intrigue than buckle down and go on the journey of Kennedy and Haddison. You'll see how an unexpected encounter turned into the best lead things that could happen between two hardworking people. You'll love Haddison at hello. He truly the strong silence type. You'll like the strength of Kennedy and her take no prisoners attitude. You'll like the protector in Haddison and the lengths he take in ensuring all is well
If you like some second chance at love couple, then you want to read Victoria and Cortez story. As two independent passionate people come to terms with a chance in encounter. You'll sympathize with Victoria and the impact her father had on her life. You'll appreciate her take charge head on personality. You'll love Cortez not being discouraged and his sensual side.
Both couples story give you hope about love and redemption. The ability to welcome love when it happens.
Another great read by Mrs. Brenda Jackson. The stories of both cousins was worth reading again. To experience the love at first sight just from the look in your eyes is beyond romantic especially if the person suppose to be a criminal. That was crazy, it was worth reading until I finished. Ms Victoria Adele's story was just as good. We know the story of a one night stand and virgins and how most guys take that as a conquest, but he actually wanted the girl. Love this, looking for to the next book.
Kennedy couldn't stop thinking about one of the bank robbers who kidnapped her and she kissed while they were in a car crash that she was told killed him. Turns out that he was an undercover FBI agent. He retired after that case and ended up taking a job as head of security at the company she worked for. He remembered her and she thought she remembered him even though the only thing she recognized on him was his eyes. He had been captivated by her since the robbery. Now he was free to date her, even though he couldn't tell her how they really first met. Victoria met one of the Master's triplets in Paris. She lied about who she was because she wanted a one night stand to lose her virginity. He had been hoping to spend the weekend with her but she disappeared the morning after. They bumped into each other a few years later at a family function. Their cousins were married. She pretended she didn't know him. He was still upset about how she left him. Then he became her company's attorney. Finally they talked and he got her to agree to giving him the two days she had promised years before in Paris. When they saw each other again after their second weekend together, they had fallen in love. I really enjoyed both of these stories. Kennedy had been wary about love because her ex cheated on her. Victoria had been wary because her father and grandfather were both huge womanizers. I really liked watching the two of them find true love.
No s'agafa per enlloc 2.
This audiobook actually contained two stories. The first was Haddison and Kennedy's story. I thought this one was better. It had a bit of romance, mystery, and intrigue, and managed to hold my interest.
Victoria and Cortez's story was next. There wasn't much to it. Victoria had some issues and I thought her behavior was somewhat immature. Cortez was determined to have her. I am not sure why he wanted her .
Both couples got their HEA. If the second story came close to the first, I could go with more than 4 stars. As it stands, I will give the audiobook 3.5 stars. The narration was not bad.
Kudos to Mrs. Jackson on two awesome stories. I read them both in two days between watching basketball and cooking. I really loved Kennedy and Haddison’s story. The wedding scene was described beautifully. I can’t wait for the next book concerning the Masters and Bennett’s.
Kudos Mrs. Jackson on another awesome bestseller. You never disappoint. 🥰
Kennedy and Haddison's story from beginning to end I enjoyed . The unusual way they met could not stop the love they found. Great story. So far away from home but not to far for Victoria and Cortez to meet and find love. Another great story. Can't wait for Bree and Monica's stories.
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I couldn't put my kindle down! I enjoyed Kennedy and Haddison and Victoria and Cortez journeys to love! I enjoyed the storyline and visiting with the previous characters from the other books. I enjoyed the chemistry as well between the couples! Such a fantastic book!
I enjoyed both Kennedy and Haddison and Victoria and Cortez love story. Kennedy was feisty especially in the bank robbery scene. I am glad that Whitmore and his friend 's son got what they deserved. Cortez was a determined man and he went after what he wanted, Victoria. I enjoy Author Jackson's books.
I was introduced to Kennedy in A Family Reunion back when I was in middle school. When I realized this was connected to that series I went back and read it again to refresh myself. Glad to see the used to be rebel grow up and find love.
The same with Cortez. I met his cousin Quinn on A Family Reunion as well.
I really enjoyed Kennedy and Haddison's story. It had a nice turn of events and was truly entertaining. Victoria and Cortez's story was just ok for me. While I truly understand where Victoria was coming from, something just felt a bit off. Loved the double wedding at the end, it all worked out wonderfully.
I absolutely love this book. I loved that it was beyond down into two parts for the two different women. I always loved how Brenda plots and plans her scenes. I really am trying to figure out how she comes up with this stuff lol. Both ladies stories, I adored. Victoria and Kennedy both found love in some strange ways but I loved it. Great read... You won't be disappointed...
I am a huge Brenda Jackson fan but I haven't read in a long time, but reading about Victoria and Kennedy, I felt like I never stopped reading. Can't wait for the books to come
Love at first sight for both cousins. Kennedy met her future husband during a bank heist. They love story was very interesting. Victoria met her future husband while on a trip for business. In both stories they took awhile to finally tell each other their true feeling.
Great characters and storylines. Two stories of great relationships. Look forward to the next saga of the Bennett cousins. Kennedy and Haddison made a great connection at a most unlikely situation. Victoria and Cortez were steamy from the start.
This author, keeps on getting better and better. Each story was excellent. The couples worked to show their love was special , loving and sexy. I can't wait for the next edition. I love the way Brenda connects families. Keep up the good writings.
Ken a take no mess kind of girl who would say just what wanted to anybody and Victoria afraid to love but her job both found love in an unusual way a must read.
I throughly enjoyed reading Kennedy and Victoria's story. Each story will have you laughing and having a feel good moment. It was good connecting with the original Bennett ladies. I can't wait for Sebrina and Monica's story
Cousins are the next best things to sisters. Victoria, Kennedy, Monica, and Sebrina are thicker than thieves. They learn through all the hurt, pain and disappointment it's never too late. Well written, page-turner. full of humor, friendship, and family.
I've been a reader of Brenda Jackson's books for years. I have enjoyed this book full of romance and love. I couldn't ask for a better story from The Bennett's. Looking forward to many more. Thanks for keeping me entertained throughout the years.

Haddison and Kennedy then Cortez and Victoria this book by Brenda Jackson is a romantic treasure for sure. I read it without interruption with all distractions on pause.
I really love this story, was nice to read about the children from the family reunion, how they are all grow up in fining love . I can’t wait to read the next Bennett book.
Kennedy and Victoria and Monica and Bree have a beautiful family relationship. To see Victoria find true love was so touching. Kennedy had truly developed into an outstanding young lady and I'm glad that she found true love.
