I dont want to continue this bullshit anymore. I dont even know how I even reach this far in this manga. This is just horrible it makes me hate myself or wasting my time on this. Chapter 87, my friend. EIGHTY SEVEN.
First of all, the art work was beautiful. I think that can be the only reason why I even reach this far. The illustrator focused too much on the beautiful characters and details that he might have forgotten to put a freaking emotion on the characters.
I mean seriously, all the characters look the same with freakish long black hair. Even the guys. (I think Habaek is the only one with short hair here so far) Some have them in ponytails and sometimes women put a thing or two on their hair but that only makes it so hard to distinguish them.
The plot was very hard to follow as you really have no idea as the characterization is very shallow and sometimes I just think that they have no feelings at all.
They do things because . . . I dont even know why they do things. Its like - I'm the God of bullshit so I'm gonna bullshit the other characters.
And the - "Look at me. I'm so pretty and mysterious. Emotions? Eeeew. Noobs" - of Soah and others.
And the flashbacks are bad. Very bad. Some manga that I have read used black frames in a page when it is a flashback or something but here, just nothing.
I'm really disappointed on how all this turns out. Bride of the Water God started out great. I even gave the first and second volume 4 stars for that matter. But as it goes on it just becoming worse. And now I'm on my peak. I don't care about it anymore.
WOW. There is so much going on! Firstly, I wanna shook Hooye.. Why Hooye?! Whyyyyyy?! *sobbing* Why did you have to oppose Habaek? You're too good looking and kind to be a pawn of the Emperor! It was a great day/night for Habaek and Soah and while reading, I was humming Dixie Cups' Going To The Chapel Of Love, I was glad Habaek gets to meet Dong Wang Kong then Hooye had to ruin the night, then his confrontation with Soah broke my heart, and how he and Habaek parted added to that heavy feeling in my heart. Dong Wang Kong's disappearance to meet Suh Wang Mo kinda gives me the feels but still, they are in the Emperor's territory but what really put me on edge was the arrival of Shin Nong! Mygaaaad Oh-kay I'm gushing nonstop but I can't help it!

Pretty decent volume. I was lost at the beginning, because it's been a while since I've read the previous volume, and it took me a while to remember where we were with the story, since it just kind of jumps right back in. However, I am optimistic about the direction of the series, because it seems like things are finally starting to ramp up with the plot.
So beautiful and so interesting. Things are starting to make more sense as far as who the characters are. The war is coming but Soah finally has gotten what she wants. I hope she gets to keep it.
I don't know if stuff is lost in translation, but sometimes this story takes weird sideroads with characters I don't know about, or something seems like major drama but it doesn't seem like much to me.
Again, I'm really just in it for the art. Which, even that is starting to lose its magic.
THIS MANHWA SERIES WAS A MESS from chapter one to like...chapter 50. The story was so freaking confusing, I just didn't understand who was who and what the fuck they were doing there or why the fuck there was suddenly a flashback... The way everything was put together felt really random and I hated that but for some reason, I kept reading because it was kind of interesting? I don't really like the artwork, it's not my type and it's very dark so some details aren't as obvious as they should've been and the humor doesn't really work well sometimes. Anyways, it's still interesting so I'll keep reading.
This volume seemed so short. It focused on Shoah and Mui's official wedding. So last minute, but so beautiful. Too bad the marital bliss had to be so rudely interrupted by Huye. He's been so loyal to Mui this whole time, but now is he really going to fight against him? Or is this another elaborate plot defeat the Emperor? And did Huye really take Mui's father to reunite with his mother? So many questions! Can I just bask in the beauty of that royal wedding for a few more minutes before going back into the main story?
Finally...Soah's a main part of the picture again!! You have no idea how much I've been waiting to see the romance between Soah and Mui spark again! My only regret is that 1) there really wasn't that much romance...though there was and 2) that there was barely an interesting plot in the book, though the end does leave me salivating for the next volume :)
Oooh, Soah went rawr! Only, not in the way I wanted. >.<
Fun fact: just when soah and mui are about to do the do when bi ryeum totally kills the mood. Hu-ye is on daddy’s side, chunhoo is batshit and shin wong is a manipulative bastard.
