Layla Fitzpatrick lived a simple life. Once. But since the night she was accidentally bonded to the stuffiest shifter she's ever met, things have become...complicated.
Now she and Michael are back in Boston, there's a vampire-sized hole in her memories, and the city's preternaturals are perched on the precipice of war.
The only thing that could make her life worse is a doomsday prophecy.
NOTE: INCOMPLETE! Read as much of this book that has been released (up to Chapter 9). Please be advised that if you sign up for Patreon solely to read volume two that it is incomplete and has not been added to since November 6, 2021! No update from author or response received. Shame really. Very misleading.
The Lunatics is a new adult paranormal romance published exclusively for my serial fiction subscribers on Patreon. New chapters posted weekly to my website.
Okay so I don't know if this technically counts "read". But! I've been reading the chapters on the Patreon, and I LOVE them. There hasn't been an update in a while (this is not a complaint) so I want to mark this as read, even though it's not 100% correct, because evetime I saw it on my TBR it was bugging me.
I thought this was a great continuation of the first book, I still loved the characters, the world, and it was freaking HOT. If more come out, I can always come back and update later!
OMG why does this book feel like it just stops mid-paragraph? I invested 11 hours into an audiobook and there's no conclusion and no information on it going any further!?!?! I'm so upset.
⚠️ NOTE (found somewhere on GR) INCOMPLETE!!! (up to chapter 9.... and has not been added to since November 6, 2021!) No update from author or response received. Shame really. Very misleading.
Not entirely sure if this should be considered read seeing as this is an incomplete book which I really wish I had noticed before going in to it. But what there is to read is so good. This is a great continuation of just learning the basically new world these characters are learning to navigate. It pulled me right in and I read both volume 1 and what is available of volume 2 in less than 24 hours. Just know going in that there is no update or real hope for a completed story as of now 🫠
Interesting idea to end it where she did and that it’s in the book as *bonus* chapters now, but really enjoy the way it set up to catastrophe and then ended it. All great things must come to an end I suppose.
Only the first 9 chapters have been completed (and it ended on a cliffhanger). It does not look like she’s written in this since 2021. Bummer, because I liked it.
I should’ve read the reviews. I absolutely was loving this and boom it ends right when everything picks up. Then you have to go pay on her website to get the rest of it. Awesome 1/2 half of a book!
