The rush that I'm feeling going on to the last two books of this series!! Ahh!! Everything is getting super interesting!!

There's an a story arc that runs through the series that's taking too long to resolve. I hope the next book resolves it.

Overall, I do enjoy the series. They are short reads, but perfect for needed escapism. I actually read all eleven in a short span of days. I like the character development and the general feel of the setting, but the author should hire a seasoned editor to help her. Names change as stories progress. Simple grammar errors pop-up, and sometimes the stories fail to give a satisfying conclusion. We get the who with the why but the how may be murky. This will not keep me from reading the next book, and I am recommending the series to my cozy mystery loving mom.

Henrietta, Ralph, and the rest of the investigating crew have nearly cracked the case of DWC. When a man is found dead in Ralph’s business office, Scott is brought in for questioning by the local Detective, because he doesn’t have an alibi. However, as his father, Ralph points out, Scott had no motive for the murder either.
Now it is up to Henrietta and Jacob to scour through hours of video surveillance to find Scott in a place he said he’d be during the time of murder. As the investigative crew digs into the homocide case, they keep finding links to DWC. What is DWC up to besides import and export? Something nefarious, is what. But how will this fact be uncovered and where’s the proof?
A very special character makes a cameo appearance and leaves Henrietta with more questions than ever.
Something magical happens at the end of this story - make that two magical things. One of those things is enough to make Henri blush. The second occurrence puts Henrietta and her clue hunting crew several steps closer to unraveling a several months long mystery.
I believe that in the next and final book of this series will wrap up all the questions and a lot of people are going down! Lock’em up, Abe!

I love this series and sorry to have it end after "Body in the Basement". I hope it is just as or even better than this book!!!!
Henri is in the city of Seattle, Washington to meet her long-lost nephew, she finds he really needs her help. They meet in a run down flop house and make plans to get him to safety and Hearts Grove.
After she gets back home Henri finds out that Ralph and Scott are hired to follow a husband accused of cheating, but that case becoming a heck of a lot more than just following him.
There is deception, greed, framing innocent men, and conspire to murder!!!!
You have to get this book, cause I don't want to tell the details, cause there is too much to say and I want you to have the same experience I did!!!!!

Very intrigued...
I'm looking forward to what will be the ultimate mystery for the series. It has been building in the background of the last few books, and I'm extremely curious.

Keeps you hanging!
I like this series! It has grown on me and seems like the author has grown as well. The book ends solving the murder, but leaves you hanging with the underlying mystery! Can't wait for the next one!

Love this series
I love this series. Characters are great and you just fall in love with Henrietta and Ralph. Story is well thought out and written superbly. Hats off to another great story. Can't wait till the next book comes out.

Entertaining without the smut
Great characters and story lines. Read all 11 books only to find out there better be a 12th book because otherwise I am in limbo with do Ralph and Henriette get together and do they thwart the DWC?

These books just keep getting better. Clean murder mystery with no cursing or sexual content.
