He’s violent, volatile, and loves a good fight. She’s small and sweet—and everything he craves. But can he make her his without hurting her?

Thargen wanders the sprawling Undercity streets with one goal—a drink. Well, maybe a few drinks and a good old-fashioned bar fight to let off some steam. But the moment he sees Yuri working behind the bar, he’s overwhelmed by a new desire—her.

Yuri is his opposite in so many ways—delicate, soft, beautiful—and he knows the primal, uncontrollable rage in his heart makes it too dangerous for him to have her. But he wants her. He needs her.

And when an unexpected series of events sees them stranded on a hostile, unknown planet together, it becomes almost impossible for him to resist her. Lost on a mountainside teeming with ravenous skeks, Thargen must rely upon his survival skills and the ferocity burning at his core to protect Yuri until they can get back home.

But who will protect her from him?

Reminding her of the orcs of human mythology terran Yuri finds her pulse spiking when Thargen walks into the bar she works at. When they are unexpectedly kidnapped and then stranded on on a hostile, unknown planet together, things heat up.

I've really enjoyed the books that have come before in this series, but this wasn't the sizzling little morsel I was hoping for. Some moments that had me smiling and I was engaged...mostly, just not very potently.

3.5 stars rounded up

This was a more suspenseful read once the book hit its stride, but with a lot of bonding between the main characters. Thargen (H) meets Yuri (h) while out searching for a bar to get drinks so he can burn off some of his inner Rage (an element specific to his alien species that drives them to fight or f*** when it gets going). Yuri's a bartender and they have an easy and instant connection. He's an orc-like alien who's very confident and she's a human who happens to have crushed on orcs on Earth, no hesitations with attraction here. Then some jerks hassle Yuri, Thargen protects her, and while they're trying to leave, said jerks attack and kidnap them in retribution. Except these jerks are gang members who smuggle so now our couple are being smuggled to another planet to become slaves, not awesome. The story is written in third person, mostly H and h focused, but close to the end two other POVs. No ow/om drama, h is a virgin and H is not but it had been a while (he's afraid of how he could hurt a female because of Rage), bc not discussed/used.

As cute as our H and h were when they were in a bar bantering, the relationship they build when they can only depend on each other was both sweet and intense. The ship does crash on a strange planet and they have to go in survival mode on multiple fronts as they figure out resources and have to fight off locals and smugglers still. They both still have humor at times, there's loads of sexual tension, and they're both protective of each other. Thargen is a former soldier and literally has Rage on his side so he's more experienced and effective, but Yuri tries and I appreciated that in a h.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of Thargen fighting his attraction, because of his fears, but not communicating initially. Yuri, for being a virgin, sexualizes Thargen *a lot* (in fairness, they're naked on the ship for a bit and he's just allllll there and alllll pierced too). Sometimes I thought it was too much though. I'd say this is a slow burn but it does get plenty steamy. I loved their relationship and how both knew pretty much from the start they were it for each other.

While I loved them together, I did miss seeing the found family dynamic of book 2 (which is the only other one I've read). We get tastes of it in Thargen's thoughts and stories to Yuri, but don't see it til a glimpse at the end. There are two new characters introduced who have the next book and they're pretty interesting and I'm curious how they'll fit in with the larger group. I did think that this book was a bit too long and drawn out. Since the characters are fighting for their lives and being attacked by a couple different groups, the story also gets graphically violent in several places. Poor Yuri also can't handle blood and there's a lot of it.

The story wraps up in a HFN, but with a connection developed between the new friends and the main group so I expect to see these two in cameos in the next book. There's no doubt in my mind our H and h will be together forever and there's a beautiful commitment saying of his people that they share at the end that left me smiling.

Did you ever fawn over the orcs of world of Warcraft?
Had a hankering for a big, green, tusked, macho-man?
Wanted to get down and dirty with some Peter Jackson baddies?

…….
….
Well...maybe not that last one.....

Good lord almighty we got a humdinger here y'all. And this is coming from the gal who has been in such an obscenely long and hard (hehe) book slump. Like, Sahara level drought here. I have been craving some sci-fi romance that blows my socks off, And I finally found it.

I went on down to the riva', and T.R. baptized me in the steamy stream of sci-fi romance magic.

What does that mean? Hell, I'm not even sure. But I'm on such a book hype right now that it doesn't even matter at this point. Ain't nothing gonna bring me down.

Thargen is so unapologetically crass, strong, savage, and good gracious all mighty does this orc have a hankering for our h. We get to learn more about the Vorgal species as a whole here, and look deeper into what exactly his 'Rage' is. That burning flame that demands you either fight or F**k.
To make this struggle even more real, the last gal he chose to burn that rage off with, was...kinda messed up by it... Gah Thargen's struggle with his feelings for Yuri was pretty dang entertaining to see grow. It kept you constantly shouting at your book (or kindle in this case) to just get on with it man! She's a Terran! She can handle it!

Our lovely heroine (not the drug just FYI) Yuri, is an incredibly refreshing version of the modern Earth women trying to make it work on an alien planet filled with aliens from alien worlds.
Did I say alien too much? Huh...alien.
Any-whats-N-butts, Yuri was just a simple bartender who happened to have her big, green fantasy man stroll up to her bar and charm the ever lovin' panties off her. She can't look at blood without getting lightheaded, or heaving up a lung (Girl Same), she doesn't really have a filter (Girl SAme), can be incredibly awkward (Girl SAME) and gives Thargen back as good as she gets. All and all, I loved Yuri. And good golly miss molly did I Love me some Thargen. I loved how the attraction went both ways from the get go, how it wasn't someone struggling with how the other appears, but rather liking them period. Which, and Alien romance reader can pretty much relate to at this point.

So, after an unfortunate bar brawl caused by a gang member grabbing at our girl, her and Thargen get drugged and kidnapped and
DUN
DUN
DDUUUUUUUUHHHHH

Put on a slave ship. But without collars. And in the same cell....hmmmmm.

(smallish not so large moment of not-quiet as much entertained. BUT still in no way bad)
Now this is the point where I kind of had to push through, and it's no fault of T & R at all, it's just something that I've read so much of lately, that I'm kinda past it. And that the kidnapped/imprisoned on an alien ship. It's got all the works: fire hose baths, water pods, protein bars, no clothes, a skeevy alien cell neighbor, and the glorified poo-hole. Ahh yes, can you feel the indignation.

Anyways after and Thargen and Yuri we find their bond growing, and begin to really bond and grow with them.

I realize if you didn't open the spoilers that whole sentence either looks dirty, or is completely useless jabber. Either way what bliss.

It's sweet, hot, steamy, adevntourous and everything in-between. It sure led this horse to water, and kicked my book dry spell out the bucket. I am soooooo beyond excited for whats to come in the Infinite City series, especially since the next book is a MFM.

Cause whats better than One blue-tailed telepathic alien? Mutha F'n Two blue tailed telepathic aliens! Kier and Kayl come to moma!

This series is a freaking masterpiece that you think couldn't get any better. Time and time again they prove that wrong. I, for one, am incredibly excited to see a MFM for their next book. I think with the bond between Kier and Kayl already established, along with their perspectives where we got to see how uncomplete and wanting for a mate they are, is one of my favorite book tropes ever. The lonely hero (heroes) who no matter how full a room, are always missing that piece of the puzzle. I am beyond excited to see just what is up T & R's sleeves for them.

BONUS : we get to see all the past I.C. family. Including Drakkal. AKA big kitty boyfriend #1. Gah he's just as grumpy as ever.

I must say that while I've enjoyed all the books in this series (Arthos is seriously whacked and I appreciate that in the biggest way) AND all the couples who've found their HEAs, Thargen just miiiiiight be my favorite. He's just so...unhinged at times. In a good way. He has berserker rage and strength and a patented inability to see when the odds just might be overwhelming. And he absolutely doesn't see himself as being mate-material.

Ha. Yeah. Yuri doesn't see him in the same light. She trusts him from the first and when they're person-napped and held captive, things only deepen. She KNOWS Thargen won't hurt her and he'll do everything in his power to keep her safe. Plus, the fact that he's a hunk with a wicked sense of self doesn't hurt.

We didn't spend a whole lot of time in Arthos this time, but Thargen's crazed battle-rage and getting to see a much softer side of him more than made up for it. Like I said, he miiiiiight be my favorite. (It's hard to say for certain since all these crazy characters work for me in one way or another.)

A lot of blood (poor Yuri!), a few new faces, a lot of familiar faces, sexy times while on the run, and a battle-rage enhanced Thargen. GOOD STUFF ALL AROUND.

This was just horrible.
Horrible writing.
After the abduction, the book went straight into book hell.
The plot is so slow paced and boring it couldn’t hold my attention for even 6 pages long.
Their constant repeating inner monologues are taking more space than the actual plot. It is ridiculous. Her growing desire in inappropriate situations and his self castigation is utter rubbish in perpetuity. Two pages of a short plot thread followed by page after page of endless repetitions and uninteresting nonsense.
Where are the stimulating conversations, the Humor, the getting to know each other, sharing intimacy, working together, building on each other, sharing their pasts and experiences, clever ideas for an escape or even smart behaviour in the various circumstances, ....

Sigh

****Savagely powerful***

Omg I'm in loved with Thargen and Yuri this book is So good.
The world and character building is phenomenal, extreme action and suspense that keeps me breathless and biting my nails from beginning to end. It's a brilliant story and I loved all the first three books but this is my favourite so far. Gods this book took me for the most exciting and terrifying ride of my imagination and I want more. Thargen and Yuri's love story is raw powerful, beautiful, unpretentious and unconditional. I loved a heroine who knows what she wants and goes for it and grab it by the Horn and not let go. Tiffany Roberts you guys rock and I can't wait for Kier and Kayl story and I love a meñage I want more meñage and RH please hehe. If I could give 10 star I would, this book completely Owend me.

Raiders and reavers and orcs, oh, my

Thargen loves the littlest terran, Leah, but a baby's first birthday party is not going to get him drunk enough to drown the Rage living in his head. It also isn't going to give him a good fight. Finding out his favorite dive is closed is salt in the wound. But discovering a new terran, Yuri, puts these events in a new light. She's funny, sweet, has a thing for orcs and introduced him to a new drink guaranteed to put his Rage to sleep for at least a little while. She also, inadvertently, gives him the fight he was looking for when some jerks hassle her. They might have taken him down, only because they cheated and used tranq darts, but when he and his Rage are finally out of this cage, they won't be so smug anymore.

Spoilers ahead.
This was a fun book. A little more grim in some places than previous ones, but still a riot of slang, translation failures, big talk and brawling. Yuri is a tiny human making it on Arthos. Bartending isn't glamorous, but since her nursing education wasn't completed (apparently barfing over blood is frowned upon) it pays the rent and feeds her. Thargen is a giant green orc like being called a vorgal. Slightly damaged from his last battle as part of the Vanguard, he has problems with a berserker rage, his memory and impulse control. Also, according to others, he chooses bad birthday gifts for tiny humans. But don't believe them, they complain about everything. Kidnapped, only because they cheated, and waking up in a cage doesn't get him down. He's mad because Yuri is being subjected to this nonsense, but otherwise he knows he'll be ok. The captivity details are mostly glossed over, so I wouldn't say trigger warnings are needed. No one is violated, no one is tortured. They're just held without dignity... or clothes. This now ranks as my second favorite of the series, with 2&3 tying for first. Zero is ok, 1 is sweet, 2&3 are hilarious- the byplay between Darrkal and Acranthus, 4 is a laugh riot of banter and brawling. We finally "see" some skeks, a common curse word we've read a hundred times. We see a new world, too. This story leaves Arthos and the Infinite City. It starts there, it ends there, and it involves characters from there so it does fit the series, although I'd really love a little more of a look at this tri-level enormous city. Aside from mates, new characters are introduced, which is fun and I like that the series is expanding beyond its origins. I'm really excited about the new path. I love that Yuri isn't a shrinking violet. She loves VR games, knows what she wants and is more than willing to hunt it down, and she may get sick at the sight of blood (hysterical for the mate of a brawling Vorgal happy to rip offenders apart) but she holds her own in a fight. My only issue with the whole story is this: if a male pressured a female into intimacy there would be reader rage. Seducing of an awake, sober, consenting partner is 1 thing. Taking liberties with someone sleeping, unaware and who's already said no is not seductive, male or female. Yuri wakes up Thargen in a very intimate manner, after he's already said he isn't willing to go that far (reasons aren't needed, no means no), and it bothered me. Consent culture goes both ways. Other than that I loved this as much as all the others in the series and can't wait for the next.

Fun and engaging

Another hit from this wonderful writing duo. Love the Infinite City series and this was another wonderful addition to that world. Thargen was an awesome hero and Yuri was easy to sympathize with. Rooting for them the whole time was easy and the character development flowed really well. Can't wait for the next installment in this series.

Honestly, WTF?

The book starts out great! Crazy Thargen is funny and enjoyable, Yuri starts out really cute and geeky, and the interaction between them is a delight and absolute entertaining!

But as soon as they are alone and stranded on the secluded planet, it deteriorates quickly. Not only is the banter between them almost gone, Yuri is obnoxiously centered on sex, and only on sex.

I get it, they are mates (even if they are not called as such), so their instant attraction is quite strong, we know that from the previous books. But Yuri goes too far!
Thargen is the master of sending mixed feelings - he wants her, teases her, but then runs away - but instead of talking to him about it, after the first time he runs away - and after several attempts, where he deflects the subject - she (ab)uses him in a vulnerable state.
She touches him intimately while sleeping, so he can't run away (Her thoughts exactly)

Seriously??? Ain't that coercion?

Does not matter that he is sending mixed feelings, something is clearly not alright! And touching someone without consent is not the solution (and, of course he runs away again)
And what does she feel afterwards? Hurt! A little guilt, but primarily hurt! What did you expect? Later (!), even she understands that they should talk ...eye roll...

Then they talk, and afterwards, when he explained his fears, she belittles them by simply disregarding them. How else to interpret her behaviour?

And that's it. None of those thinks are actually resolved. They just have sex, and everything is fine..? *groan*

I really wanted to love those characters, and they start out great! But the middle is questionable at best.

Good but not really good .

As much as I like the authors , this book was just dragged out a little much . It was the same theme right up until the last 25% of the book , then it got interesting . I haven't been a big fan of this series but I have to admit I liked the previous book in the series alot . I am looking forward to the next book which must be about some interesting characters introduced in this book .

Wow wow wow!!! 4.5 🌟
This was so fantastic and surprisingly my favourite book of the entire series! What’s even more surprising is this book wasn’t even on my radar I was originally going to skip it just because I desperately wanted to read the behemoth that is the 6th book in the series and boy oh boy im so glad I didn’t! Lesson learned!

This book was so fantastic in so many ways and I really wasn’t expecting the punch this book packed.

The story was just so engaging and by far my favourite storyline of the series since the plot takes place off of arthos as opposed to all the other books in the series. The main characters are actually kidnapped together and held in a cage for the first part of the book and then they are stranded on an alien planet together trying to survive while being hunted down. I just loved the wildness of this story and I loved the survival aspect of it even more.

As for the characters, I really loved these 2 together but thargen definitely held the spotlight for me. I really loved Thargens personality and how he was kinda portrayed as the knuckle head of the group who seemed to always get into trouble, he was funny and rough around the edges and was so enamoured by Yuri and it was all just so endearingly cute.

As for the romance I am so glad the authors decided to do a slower burn in this one, my over all enjoyment of this series went up ten fold simply because of that and I really felt like that’s what was missing most from the other books in this series! The spice was still there without giving it all away and really kept the reader engaged and invested in the story.

I also really LOVED the ending of this one, i love the family dynamic all the characters have with previous characters, I love seeing this family of misfits grow and I absolutely loved the sneak peak of the twins at the end.

The only thing that stopped me from giving this a full 5 stars was that Yuri was literally chomping at the bit to get into Thargens pants, like from the day they met she was all over him and it continued like that through the entire book. She was constantly trying to get with him and he was constantly denying her (for good reason but still) it just made Yuri seem a bit desperate to me I so wanted to see Thargen chase her I wanted to see him try and seduce her, but we never really got to see him work for her affection because she was always open for business lol

Overall this book was fantastic, the story was amazing and so fun, the characters were funny and heart warming and I’m just so glad I got to read this. Needless to say I’m salivating for the next book in the series and thanks to this one I have VERY high expectations!

SOBBING CRYING I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. ITS MY FAVORITE NOW OF THE SERIES. Oh my god, I can barely describe how much I just adored this story and the leads other than sobbing babbles. spoilers below!!
.
.
.
.
Where to start? I fell in love with both Yuri and Thargen almost immediately at the start. Thargen is so entertaining and he was such an endearing lead. He is not a himbo but is? if that makes sense. Because he is very smart in his own ways, but very much jovial with a dirty sense of humor and likes to fight first then talk. While he has had such a traumatic life and has no recollection of his past prior to his head injury from before the book's setting, he is all laughs and comedy. And I was expecting a shy girl for Yuri but was surprised by her confidence and how down bad she is for Thargen. She's funny and witty and a sweetheart. She's perfect for Thargen as he is for her. I love her being a nerd/geek too. It was such a cute idea and ties in the barbarian/orc vibes Thargen brings.

I love that Thargen runs on 'Rage' and Yuri is the only one to cut through that and bring him back. He always kept her away from full sex with him because he was so scared to hurt her, but she managed to break through that Rage multiple times and when they first had sex? It was so hot yet so sweet too. She brings out a softness in Thargen. Their time in the cages, naked along with other captives, was heartbreaking and really showed how much of a protector Thargen is. He demonstrates his protectiveness throughout, but this book (and particularly their time in the cage) really highlights that for me.

The whole book left me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down. With them being kidnapped and then stranded on a strange planet to fend for themselves, I found myself wanting to read this all in one setting (I read half the book in one go, so i was forced to pace myself lol). With them being hunted by the smugglers that captured them and the skeks looming around, it created a thrilling sense of danger to read. Lots more fighting and violence in this than i expected, but when I got to know Thargen, it was fitting. Also, I am so happy the twins were introduced in this story and I can't wait to read them in the next book.

Overall, loved this book and its my new favorite in the Infinite City series (sorry Arc and Sam 3). I just loved the dynamic of brute barbarian who is a softy for his little human zoani. I highly recommend reading the series for this book.

Thargen and Yuri book 4 in the Infinite City 5🌟's love 💘 love 💘

I'm pretty sure I've said this in a previous review of this series, but it's worth repeating again, just when I think this series can't get any better it does! I mean it really does The Infinite City is one of the best science fiction romance series on the market. Tiffany Roberts pays close attention to world building and amazing character development it is kind of mind blowing how much I fall in love with the very alien male leads in each of these stories. In "Savage Desire" we pick up where the last book "Untamed Hunger" left off. Thargen is head Security for Arcanthus and the crew. He became best friends with Shay, Drakkal's mate and he's at baby Leah 's first birthday. Even though he loves his friends and considers them his family the rage that is apart of his very being enhanced by his people's military builds up and takes over if he doesn't find away to deal with it. Thargen heads to a bar to drink it into submission his usual is closed so he ends up at a new one where he meets down to earth Yuri an Earth girl who has emigrated from Earth to the Infinite City. She and her brother moved from Earth because they needed something different. Yuri is a bartender, who 's very good at her job, sociable and well liked. She and Thargen strike up a conversation and the minute they start to get to know one another the action starts and doesn't stop. Thargen prevents Yuri from being attacked and then they 're kidnapped. Most of the book takes place off world and revolves around Thargen and Yuri building their relationship and escaping and getting home. It's awesome 💖 Thargen, is sexy, funny and self deprecating. The banter between him and Yuri is wonderful it will make you smile and laugh out loud. And omg when she compares him to an Orc I new she was my kind of female lead. Love her! Smart, sassy, funny And loves her own personal Orc rough and a bit ragged around the edges 😘💖 I really don't want to give anything else away all I know is it went by too fast and I couldn't put the book down. when I got to the end I was relieved to find out their would be more books coming in the future! Once again one of the best series in the entire genre I highly recommend not only this 4th installment but the entire series💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

“I will live for you. I will fight for you. I will die for you. I will be for you. And when we are reunited in the next life, I will live, fight, and die for you again.”

Savage Desire by Tiffany Roberts was such a fun and wild ride! I couldn’t put it down. The story is full of action, danger, and sweet yet steamy moments that make you root for Thargen and Yuri.

Thargen is this big, green, grumpy warrior with a fierce temper, but deep down, he has such a soft heart—especially for Yuri. And Yuri? She’s strong, brave, and funny ‘human’. I loved how she didn’t back down, even when things got rough. Their chemistry is strong, and I loved how they trusted each other even when things got scary.

“I'm always right, even when I'm wrong. And I'm never wrong, since I'm always right… But the truth is, fear is good, and there's no such thing as courage without it. There's no shame in being scared.”

This book had everything—fights, laughs, steamy moments, and so much heart. I liked that it showed both the wild, scary side of Thargen and the gentle that shows through his fierce exterior. He lives for battle, and she can’t handle even a drop of blood—talk about opposites attracting! Yuri brings out the best in him, and together they’re such a perfectly balanced pair.

“There’s nothing on this planet that can take me away from you, zoani.”
The mix of humor, fighting, and sweet moments made this book a total hit for me. If you like aliens, adventure, and strong couples who fight for each other but balance each other, this book (and series!) is definitely worth reading.

This is the first book I’ve read from the Infinite City series and I liked it! I loved the dynamic between Yuri and Thargen. I would say this is a slow burn but not in an enemies to lovers way, more like he doesn’t want to hurt her with his orc equipment way haha. Although I usually like a bit more angst, I still really liked the cute and spicy moments between them. and I also thought that them being kidnapped and their journey back home was really interesting and the perfect setting to see their relationship blossom. One thing about this novel is that it is so longggg. Not going to lie, I had to skip a few chapters towards the end because I could not keep all the action-packed alien battles straight in my head. Plus I just wanted it to come to a resolution already. I also didn’t really get the random POV at the end from a side character we literally just met a few chapters ago, but he is apparently one of the mains in the next novel so I guess that’s why the authors added it. Idk for me I just skipped it since I didn’t really care to read about the battle from his pov. Overall I still really enjoyed it and will probably read another book from this series in the future! (Just looking for more angst right now like in His Darkest Desire also by Tiffany Roberts. That novel is amazinggg btw go read it rn)

Gorgeous Rock !!!

I absolutely Love this series !!
In this book , that Crazy VORGEL , THARGEN, gets bitten by the love - bug !!
Hmmm, what I liked about the book ???
Well pretty much everything !!
We get to see Thargen at his best , or worst, depending on your perspective !! We get to see him protective , and even learn a little about the past that he can't remember.....
We get to see him even More funny !! And we get to watch him in impossible situations. And we get to read as his love for Yuri, begins......
Yuri is a new comer to Arthos. She works at a bar. Where she waits on our crazy vorgel.
Now , if you have read the previous Infinite City books , then you know that one of Thargen's favorite things to do is Fight . Well, this book gives us Plenty of that !!
I thought that the story was totally different than what I expected it to be. I enjoyed seeing But I and Tharge n navigate their way through the difficulties that they found themselves. And I found myself cheering and crying in some spots....
Isn't that the mark of a GREAT book ??? All of the " feels " were here for me, and the only complaint that I had was that it was Over !!!!
Can't wait for the next book !!!!

I liked this book but most of the middle was boring.

I really liked Thargen and Yuri’s interactions as they were funny but there was a big part of this book where not much happened.

There were a few action scenes which I liked but they happened near the end and as soon as they were over, it skipped over how Thargen and Yuri got to their planet.

I really liked the ending but it was too short, only 2 chapters. I liked how we got to see Thargen and Yuri get back home but the scenes where Yuri meets everyone and Thargen meets her brother was really short. I wanted more scenes with other characters.

I want to read Kayl and Kier’s story but I hope that there will be more interactions with other characters.

I actually quite liked this one.

Thargen and Yuri get kidnapped after gang member gets a little too physical with Yuri and Thargen takes offence. Yuri was his new bartender after all and he was itching for a fight but settling for some drinks when things went down. Kidnapped with the intent of selling them into slavery, their adversaries toss them into a cage together in the cargo hold of a spaceship with a bunch of other aliens they plan on selling at auction.

After several days, something goes wrong and they crash land on a strange planet, giving Thargen an opportunity to escape. He had grown quite attached to Yuri so he vows to protector her at an costs and takes her with him. The book devolves into a series of events as they attempt to stay ahead of their pursuers, keep away from the new hostiles and keep themselves alive. There's still s*xy times, but they aren't the main focus of the book. The main focus is their survival on an alien planet, and I personally quite enjoyed that.

So if you are looking exclusively for smut, this book isn't quite going to hit the mark for you. It's a science fiction romance or decent quality. I may read some else this author has written in the future. Definitely have to read the twins book now.

LOVED this book, it’s a Tiffany Roberts HOMERUN!

I absolutely loved this book! Thargen is pretty dang perfect with a sarcastic sense of humor, punk appearance, and hulk level badassness, and I love the way he treats Yuri, like a capable person and precious at the same time. Yuri is well rounded with humanizing flaws plus the strength and character I love in a good female hero. Although her virginity pissed me off (it added nothing to the story!) they didn’t harp on it too much, so I mentally wrote that out since I loved everything else. Their relationship develops at a perfect pace and depth, the plot and world building were unique with plenty of action, and there was lots of steamy “action” too 😉. Books by this author duo are always either a big hit or total miss with me, but the hits are out of the park home runs that I put in my re-read list, and I’m adding book 4 in their Infinite City series to that list. Book 1 (Silent Lucidity) was amazing as well but I wasn’t a fan of book 2 and therefore skipped book 3, but boy am I glad I gave this 4th book a chance! P.S., Dustwalker by these authors is also on my homerun list

BUY THIS BOOK. It’s worth every penny!

This is easily one of the best sci-fantasy romance erotica novels I’ve ever read… Real talk: I’ve read A LOT of these stories, both original & fanfic; some are traditionally published, independently published, or electronically published.

The world-building is more like a movie than a book since the environs and characters simply leap off the page and into your mind’s eye. One thing that very much adds to the experience? It’s exceptionally rare to ever see cover illustrations or photo manips that match with such accuracy in comparison to the characters they’re meant to represent. What you see is what you’ll get get.

Thargen and Yuri have become my Infinite City OTP! My only regret is that the so-named epilogue is was a rather glaring misnomer. technically even an epilogue since it didn’t even skip ahead their timeline & into their futures. They should’ve just called it Chapter 25, especially since MAJOR elements of the primary plot arch weren’t established until the “epilogue”, which is a big no-no.

Favorite in the series

Holy orc. Action, adventure, aliens and romance..this book has it all! This one is definitely my favorite in the series because Yuri and Thragen are just so funny and real with each other. I loved how Yuri isnt trained as a fighter, but has a warriors heart. Yuri is one of my favorite heroines because she wasn't a whiny b!tch, and tried hard at everything she could and accepted help when she needed it and wasnt afraid to admit she needed help. Theres strength in weakness, and Yuri does a great job of showing that. One of my biggest pet peeves in books are when heroines are constantly fighting the hero about dumb stuff, like getting upset about being carried even though they admit that they secretly like it. I love how Yuri admits she likes being carried by her big strong orc and enjoys it...because duh who wouldnt! Read this book today. Actually read the whole series. Period.

YES!

Arcanthus is delicious, when I grow up I wanna be a warrior just like Sam and as for Thargen and Yuri...perfect. I love that the family all show up and have parts in every book. I can't wait for Tethered. I actually prefer longer stories particularly when I consider what might have been left out if it were shortened...devastating. This is my first taste of Scifi novels and I'm loving it. I enjoy that I am able to follow the battle scenes. So many novels are so convoluted in the battle scenes that I am unable to image what's happening. Not so in Infinite City. So thank you! There is so much I am enjoying about the series I am going to get started on the Kracken series to tide me over until Tethered is released.
Thank you for writing Infinite City into my life.

I really enjoyed the book. She is a human bartender. He is an alien orc berserker warrior. A rowdy customer gets handsy so she slaps that customer. Hero steps in to help her and starts and finishes a fight. They fall in love. Hero has a "rage" problem so he has to be careful how he lets his anger out and he either has to fight or f***.

He walks her home. Since he attacked a local gang to protect her, they are both kidnapped by the gang and on their way to be sold as slaves. The ship crashes.

I should mention the hero has many piercings on his genitals that form the shape of a ladder.

SPOILER SPOILR PSOILER SPOILER

They spend time in the wilderness trying to survive. Then they get rescued, but those guys are hunting the slavers that crashed. They help them.

First of all—idk why the character art isn’t the cover because it is gorgeous. Second, I can’t tell you have many terribad books I’ve read on KU lately, like, it’s staggering. I added this book to the latest slew of to-be-reads a few days ago, saving it for when I hit rock bottom—when my faith in good writing bled down to the last, dying ember. And thank the universe I did. Because Tiffany Roberts never disappoints. And. This. Book. Was. Awesome. The writing, the characters, the story, the way they write relationships and even steamy, spicy scenes is utter perfection. Now off to the next ten KU books. 🤞🏼 Wish me luck.
