I am amazed at the resilience of Humankind. How all these Authors can make it through such horrible circumstances and still come out to shine at the end. Thank you to all of you for laying your hearts bare and sharing your lives with us, the readers. I feel your stories will go on to help others too, including myself.❤

This is a very insightful read into the lives of the authors. Each person has faced their own horrors, fought them, and shows us how they came out on top.
Some stories are harrowing and address the absolute worst in people, some tackle the issues of physical and mental health, and others address harassment and grief. But all of the stories prove that you can find strength in the face of adversity and can build on your past trauma and turn it into something positive.
I am inspired by the authors in this book. I have learnt new things from each of their experiences and gained insight into many new topics. A must read for anyone who wishes to build and heal from the betrayals and adversities they have previously faced.

I’ve only read Annette Densham’s work so far, but I can’t wait to read the rest!

From the very first sentence, I was hooked. With gut-wrenching emotion, Annette bravely weaves the narrative of her traumatic childhood experience with skill, courage and power.

But Annette isn’t just only an incredible storyteller—she’s also an inspiration; a beacon of hope for everyone who has too experienced trauma in their lives.

Her resilience alone is awe-inspiring.

I certainly can’t wait to read her future work—it’s definitely a very worth-while read that will stay with you, long after the final page has turned.

Congratulations, Annette!

Wow! Twenty unique individuals sharing their own story of the adversity and trauma they have had to endure and overcome. Each different, but ending in a truly beautiful way of overcoming the atrocities life has served them and not allow these events to define them, but to truly soar in the face of it.
I cried, I related, thank you all for baring your truth and letting others know they aren't alone.

RAW and Honest
This book is a raw and honest account of the authors stories. Through adversity the authors have chosen to make sense of their lives and rise above. The stories in this book are diverse which highlights the fact that adversity can come to us in many different forms. I thoroughly recommend this book although sometimes not easy to read, due to the harsh reality, but found it up lifting as well.
