I find it troubling and hypocritical that Ms Kane espouses theories of ‘living the gospel in today’s world’ but openly supported her pedophile brother, Christopher Wade, when he was convicted of sexually abusing young boys and openly admitted to perverting the course of justice and making false statements to police. Ms Kane’s sister yelled at the victim during the Court proceedings. How can Ms Kane play the good Catholic and publish books about Mary McKillop but then, in the background, support a convicted pedophile and subject the very brave survivors of that abuse to further abuse. It’s abhorrent. Appalled and disgusted that Goodreads would sell this book.
