I first time read a thriller short story and I am impressed. it was fun to read such fast paced story and the plot was really good but not unique as I think I have seen similar story. The writing style was simple and flowy. the connection between all the cases was really interesting. I love the ' sitting on the edge of the seat, not wanting to do anything but read and see who is the criminal and why they did it' part but it was missing because its a short story yet the author has touched issues of current society and relations between people. in all a really good thriller.
The book is a small thriller which will keep you hooked till the end. It is just 11 pages long but has the power to keep you on edge throughout. The things aren’t much detailed and the novel is fast-paced. The narration is nice and the author has done a great job of keeping the suspense till the end. You can pick it up if you are looking for a light and good book. You will enjoy it whether you are an avid reader or not, and this even might help you out of a reading slump. I liked it.
Summary of this story is presented well by the author himself as the book’s description. So, let's move on to the review part without wasting our words.
Review: The author: @adityanighhot has made a brave attempt (and a very good one in that,) in the Crime thriller/Short story Genre. The story is onto the point with no roundabout way of indulging the audience. The author has chosen a simplistic approach when coming to language, which gives the story ‘APPROACHABLE’ status - meaning anyone can read this regardless of being a reader or not. The final moment that every reader anticipates is ‘the final reveal’ and is unexpected in a good way. Building a character within very few words is very difficult, the author has handled this very well in the case of ACP. Portraying the soft and humane side of Police officers is something rare these days and I like it.
The same strong points of this book, unfortunately, have a grey side to them also. It lacks the cloud and depth of mystery which is common for a short thriller. The dialogues between the characters in spite of carrying some subtle variations (Like the authoritative tone of the ACP and obedient replies from his subordinates), could have been more characterized. The reason for crimes, though peculiar, feels a bit shallow. Some concentration could have been done towards the characterization of the guilty (like explaining their mental state a bit more).
On the whole this was a good snack for someone like me who reads a lot. The author has done pretty well, considering that this is his debut short story.
Rating: I would like to give 3.5/5 stars.
Recommendation: This is a quick, no BS thriller read, with easy language. So I’d recommend anyone and everyone to read Catch Me If You Can.

'Catch me if you can' is a short read of around 11 pages. It was an easy and quick read. In just 11 pages the story is summed up well but it lacks the thrill element. The story is simple and those looking to start with thrillers can pick up this one.
This is a short read of 11 pages which i finished 10 minutes. A fast paced one. Easy and quick read. Language is so easy. For beginners and for quick readers, it is agood one. Acp sailesh devasted by his wife's sudden demise. He wants to emd hself but something stopped him from doing that. He thought that there is a connection between these murders.
Will Sailesh and his team find the culprit? Why Sailesh stopped himself?
The plot of the story was divided into two parts-ACP Shailesh Kumar, who is sad after the death of his wife and attempted suicide three times and the second part where in the criminal cases in Ranchi were on the rise, and ACP Shailesh received word that a young girl named Riya had been found dead. No one knows why this crime was committed. Will the cops be able to track down the genuine criminal and solve the case now?

It's a quick 11-page thriller that took me around 25 minutes to complete. The story starts with ACP Shailesg Kumar, who is sad after the death of his wife and attempts suicide three times before being stopped by his daughter Shreya. At the same time, criminal cases in Ranchi were on the rise, and he received word that a young girl named Riya had been found dead. No one knows why this crime was committed. Will the cops be able to track down the genuine criminal and solve the case now? This story ended in an entirely different way.
Ranchi have lots of cases of abduction, robbery n many more....in that MC ACP have been going through alot of his personal life and attempted sucide multiple times which failed.
Just before he decides to do it again, receives call from his subordinates regarding dead body found of young girl. The rest story continues on his investigation.
Surprisingly story ended with twist, very much unexpected. Overall it's easy and quick read.
