it tells about Jax Deneris/Jackson Deneris to continue his life to become better than before by coming to LA from Boston. Who know in LA he can meet another girl? Yup, Blaire. At first he just wants to make love with her but it grows become love. love that make him better, become Jackson not Jax anymore.
Blaire, a girl who do anything to make money to take over the custody of her brother by thieving meets Jax Deneris in his mansion which is she stayed over. At first, she does not like Jax, but her hate grows become love and love wins.
Writer wrote this book in 2 POV, Jax and Blaire. The main problem is just like the title, find their redemption from their fault back then. Find forgiveness. Many messages we can take from this book.
Cant wait for the next book, Perfect Ruin!!

When I thought there's nothing that can top the previous 2nd book, I am so wrong over there! This is by far my favourite in the series. I can clearly see the characters development like how I see my fat evolves on my belly. Or how I feel in my pants when I was reading this book... Ok too weird for now. bye. and this is real good, guys!

Die Handlung wird aus der Sicht von Blaire und Jax geschildert. Dadurch lernen wir die beiden erst mal gut kennen, erfahren, welche Ängste und Sorgen sie plagen und was sie bewegt. Zudem bekommen wir dadurch einen guten Einblick in die Gedanken- und Gefühlswelt der beiden und können so ein stückweit besser verstehen, wieso sie so handeln und reagieren, wie sie es tun.
Blaire ist eine sympathische junge Frau, die in jungen Jahren schon viel Verantwortung tragen musste und dadurch eine falsche Entscheidung getroffen hat, die ihr Leben bis heute sehr beeinflusst und erschwert. Ich fand es erschreckend, was sie in so jungen Jahren alles durchmachen musste und fand es dadurch umso bewundernswerter, dass sie daran nicht zerbrochen ist. Ich konnte verstehen, wieso sie keine andere Möglichkeit sieht, so zu handeln wie sie es tut, auch wenn es natürlich nicht das Richtige ist. Zudem finde ich, merkt man immer wieder, wie viel ihr ihr Bruder Eden bedeutet und dass sie alles für ihn tun würde. So habe ich von Anfang bis Ende mit ihr mitgefiebert, zumal klar war, worauf alles hinauslaufen wird. Zudem hat mir die Entwicklung, die sie im Laufe der Handlung gemacht hat, richtig gut gefallen.
Mit Jax bin ich ehrlich gesagt nicht so richtig warm geworden. Man kennt ihn ja bereits aus dem ersten Band und gerade zu Anfang des zweiten Bands verhält er sich allen gegenüber einfach nur unmöglich. Zwar erfahren wir nach und nach, was Jax so quält, wie groß seine Schuldgefühle und sein Selbsthass wegen dem, was mit Sienna geschah, sind und welche Dämonen ihn noch plagen. So konnte ich sein Verhalten durchaus ein bisschen nachvollziehen. Ebenso hat mir seine Entwicklung gefallen und er wurde mir mit der Zeit sympathischer. Dennoch ist der Funke einfach nicht übergesprungen.
Gute gefallen hat mir, dass Blaire sich von Jax nichts hat gefallen lassen und ihm die ganze Zeit über ebenbürtig war. Ebenso hat es mir gefallen, dass sich die Sache zwischen den beiden erst langsam entwickelt und sie sich erst nach und nach kennenlernen. Ich fand, das hat wunderbar zu den beiden und ihre jeweiligen Situationen gepasst. Gerade da beide einige Dämonen zu bekämpfen haben, die ihnen nur Schwierigkeiten bereiten, war die ganze Zeit für Spannung gesorgt. So konnte ich das Buch trotz einiger Längen nicht aus der Hand legen.

„Perfect Redemption“ von Claudia Tan ist der zweite Band ihrer Fighter’s Dream Reihe.
Jax Deneris war ein gefeierter und quasi unbesiegbarer MMA-Kämpfer in Bostoner Untergrund. Doch einige tiefgreifende Ereignisse dort veranlassten ihn dazu, die Stadt zu verlassen und nach Los Angeles zu fliehen. Dort lebt sein entfremdeter Vater als relativ bekannter Schauspieler, auf dessen Ruf der exzessive Selbstzerstörungstrip von Jax zurückfällt. Nach seinem letzten heftigen Skandal zieht sein Vater die Reißleine und quartiert Jax in einer Wohnung mit Blaire ein, die er ebenfalls unterstützt. Blaire hat ihre eigenen Dämonen und dunklen Geheimnisse, mit denen sie tagtäglich kämpft. Den Stress mit Jax kann sie eigentlich überhaupt nicht gebrauchen und doch verbindet beide eine Anziehung, die sie erst nicht wahrhaben wollen.
Ich fand den ersten Band unglaublich gut und vor allem ist mir dort schon aufgefallen, dass Claudia Tan den Charakter von Jax nicht einfach nur finster und böse darstellt, sondern ihm auch andere Facetten verleiht, die man fast mögen könnte. Zugegebenermaßen fällt dies zu Beginn des zweiten Teils etwas schwer, denn der exzessive Selbstzerstörungstrip von Jax verhindert jegliche Sympathien.
Daher ist es für mich auch schwierig, ihm seine plötzliche Wandlung so einfach abzunehmen. Er bereut seine Taten und Entscheidungen der Vergangenheit, aber so richtig springt bei mir der Funke nicht über, warum er sich ausgerechnet für Blaire hundert Prozent ändert.
Blaire hat früher ebenfalls falsche Entscheidungen getroffen, aber ihr Auffangnetz war nicht so groß, wie das von Jax. Ich kann ihre inneren Kämpfe nachvollziehen, denn ihr werden permanent Steine in den Weg gelegt und sie kämpft gegen Windmühlen.
Wie gesagt, die Chemie zwischen Blaire und Jax konnte mich nicht so ganz überzeugen. Der erste Teil hat mir eindeutig besser gefallen, aber trotzdem finde ich diese Fortsetzung durchaus gelungen. Zumindest lernen wir eine andere Seite von Jax kennen, der eben nicht nur der Klischee-Bösewicht ist.

I wanna start by saying that the perfect series is one of my favorite series ever! I absolutely adore Claudia Tan's writing!
I was a little skeptical going into the book because I absolutely despised Jax's character after reading Perfect Addiction and Perfect Ruin, but his redemption arc was AMAZING. Claudia's writing always gets me super invested in the story, and I was hooked from the beginning to the end! I fell in love with Blaire's character and her story and I think that she was such a strong female lead.
I didn't think it was possible, but the spice scenes in this book topped the scenes in the first two books for me!
I will say that the first half of the book was a bit slower for me than I would have liked, but around 200ish pages in I became lazer focused and could not put it down.
I also LOVED seeing my faves from Perfect Addiction in the epilogue, it was such a pleasant surprise, but it also made me sooooo sad that the series has come to an end.

I honestly cannot remember when I finished this book or started it. I had a LOT of quotes from this Wattpad book saved onto my phone and deleted a bunch of them (mainly due to space/storage).
Anyway, this book was absolutely AMAZING. It part of Claudia Tan's Perfect Series (Illusion, Addiction, Redemption) but it can be read as a standalone.
It focuses on Jax Deneris, Sierra's ex-boyfriend and the one who cheated on her. Now, he's trying to get redemption and a hot new bodyguard named Blaire just might help him out.
This story was funny, full of drama, as well as being gritty and sexy entertainment that I couldn't help but adore.

I felt this book was a terrific romance story about two opposites. I liked that take on love. I enjoyed most of it and other parts were a bit slow. Overall, I'm rating it three stars. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

I've honestly never read a book that had more spelling and punctuation errors. To have written a series and a movie even came of it, the editing should have been flawless. The read itself was mediocre, but a good closing for Jax.

Une histoire correcte qui est par moment plutôt tirée par les cheveux. Ce sont les moments épicés qui font que c'est intéressant et le roman plaira aux amateurs de romances légères.
