Eddie Alexander never meant to go to Cherry Creek.

Faster than he could unmake a bed, Eddie’s life is turned upside down and he’s out of school with nowhere to go but a home that’s never been his. When he gets to Cherry Creek, the first face he sees is Charlie Motel, his best friend’s brother and also his lifelong crush.

Charlie has always been the caretaker of his family, filling the roles of absentee father, loving mother, shoulder to cry on, tolerant husband, and whatever anyone else asked of him. He’s tired, he’s alone, and then Eddie shows up in need of help with an offer Charlie never saw coming.

Charlie's answer is yes.

Eddie takes control and, for the first time in years, Charlie feels like he can breathe. He’s free of other people’s problems, he’s living his own life, and under Eddie’s thoughtful guidance, he can truly be faultless.

I’ve realized that Lucy Lennox has competition for being the queen of insta love. And that competitor’s name is Kate Hawthorne. 😂 E.M Lindsey is giving her a run for her money too. I bring her up also because I’ve been going back and forth between this series and Lindsey’s, “On the Market,” series.

The two series are connected. Both take place in the same town. Characters and plots overlap. You could easily read this series, about a bunch of brothers in the town, without reading the other one by Lindsey. Or vice versa. Or you could be a weirdo like me and start with book three of the Lindsey one and then go back and forth, reading about whatever couple catches your interest next. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway, with the exception of two books within both series, they are very insta-love. And even the two that aren’t are still what I’d call fast love. Which is not my thing at all. But yet I keep reading them. I’m not sure how to rate any of them yet so I haven’t. Despite the insta-love, I’ve liked them all, but can’t say that I’ve loved any. Except for maybe the first one that I read.

I guess I keep reading them because the characters are great, and I’ve become invested. The town is small but NOT quirky. You know an overly weird town is another of my peeves. They are all darn sexy too!

This one was the most insta-love of any so far.

And still I keep reading...

Perhaps consider this my review on both series so far. In case I don’t get around to writing anything on any of the other books. However, I will try to do so in the future.

I realize this wasn’t really a review on this particular book but it’s all I got in me at the moment.

Eddie has been expelled from college, a place he never really wanted to be to begin with. One of his dads is on vacation in Hawaii, with his boyfriend who is also Eddie's "use to be", "maybe still is", best friend, who has become slightly demoted by Eddie since he hooked up with Luke...his "best" dad, and Kevin, his "sperm donor" is MIA again and everyone hopes he stays that way.

Eddie goes to Cherry Creek because he has no other options and no other plans. Eddie has an almost immediate attraction to Charlie, the oldest, wisest, most settled, of the Motel Brothers. All the Motel brothers are under a signed agreement to spend a year in Cherry Creek running lodge that their deceased father owned. They have to spend the entire year, or they won't each inherit a "God-awful" sum of money at the end. Eddie has only ever been with women, but he's immediately interested in Charlie, and it matters not one iota that Charlie is 20 years his senior. The heart wants what the heart wants, although I believe the "wanting organ" in question here was located bit lower down.

I had my doubts about this budding relationship, not because of the age difference, but because Eddie had been a bratty, judgmental, creep throughout the two other books in the series. Charlie was the last Motel brother at the lodge that wasn't taken...so I guess Eddie was going to be his "prize". Charlie was lonely and had just been in a casual, no-strings, just friends type of relationship with a woman in town, when Eddie and Charlie crossed paths. Eddie had idea how long he would be in Cherry Creek, so it seemed the time was right to go ahead and explore their attraction despite the age gap. Knowing Eddie... I just kept waiting for him to hurt Charlie.

I thought way back from book one that some of these characters were way too judgmental...the pot calling the kettle black. Cameron is still making rude comments to Eddie about him dating Charlie, the oldest Motel brother...while Cameron started all this in book #1 by dating Eddie's father, Luke, who was about the same age as Charlie. They all are sticking their noses in places where they have absolutely no business. This book is high angst as well as high heat. It has a multitude of family drama, a lot of unexpected relationship dynamics, but to its credit, also a beautiful and healing love. It was because of the character of Charlie Motel that the book got a 5-star rating.

I really liked this!

Eddie and Charlie's dynamic was quite surprising but it worked so well for them.
Both of them were hugely lovable protagonists, especially Charlie: he deserves everything the world has to offer, and I LOVED how Eddie was so ready to give it to him. Their relationship was beyond cute: sweet and a tad angsty, steamy and romantic with a touch of forbidden age gap; and Eddie's possessiveness and protectiveness had me swooning from the get-go. Their dynamic was everything I love in romances: older man in need of a break and a firm hand, younger bullheaded spitfire ready to smother his lover with affection and love? Sign me up.

I also adored the other characters, and the bond between the brothers and their significant others was, as usual, a joy to witness: they have a complicated relationship, messy and bitter and childish at times, but the undercurrent of love comes through loud and clear.

I wasn't particularly looking forward to Brad and Andy's stories, but I am now: I'm so curious to continue this series, and to devour the rest of Kate Hawthorne's backlist.

I enjoyed Eddie a lot as a character.

I did feel like this felt a little bit like reading Book 1 all over again. Eddie and Charlie were feeling like a more vanilla version of Cameron and Luke, considering that Charlie was like a father figure to Cameron... so you essentially have two best friends who hook up with the other's father figure.

I was also beginning to think that all the Motel brothers were submissive bottoms, so it was nice that the bedroom dynamics were more.... dynamic, compared to the first two books.

I would say that so far, this has been my favourite book, but Eddie's few appearances in On the Market already had me in his corner anyway.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.5 stars

Faultless is the third book in Kate Hawthorne’s great Room for Love series and I think it is my favorite so far. I am already a big fan of age gap romance, as well as the younger partner being the more dominant of the pair. But here we get the added bonus of Eddie dating his best friend Cameron’s older brother… while Cameron is dating Eddie’s dad. This storyline is Kate Hawthorne in all the best ways, and the set up just delighted me and was so much fun. From a relationship end, this book may work on its own in the series, but with all the brothers showing up here, and the Cam/Luke connection in particular, you are going to be better off reading the series, or at the very least, Reckless.

I think Hawthorne does something interesting here in the way this relationship develops. Both these men have a strong attraction to one another, but both are also in a place where they really need something from the relationship.

Read Jay’s review in its entirety here.

This book is another great addition to The Motel Brothers series and a nice trip back to Cherry Creek. In this book, Charlie is the oldest brother and stressed out beyond reason in overseeing hotel operations and juggling many family concerns. He's surprised, but welcoming when Eddie shows up at the hotel with no place else to go. Eddie is his youngest brother's best friend and also Eddie is the son of his brother's boyfriend.

Eddie has been expelled from college, a place he never really wanted to be. One of his dads is on a vacation to Hawaii and the other is MIA again. Eddie returns to Cherry Creek because he has no other plans. Eddie has always had an attraction to Charlie, but he's only ever been with women. Charlie's been lonely and just in a casual, no-strings relationship with another woman. When Eddie and Charlie cross paths again, it seems time to finally explore their attraction despite the almost 20 year age gap.

This book is high-angst and high heat. It has lots of family drama, some unexpected relationship dynamics, and a beautiful, healing love.

A new love story in the series with previous characters from book 1. Its like a mirror reflection of book 1's loves story where Eddie, the younger guy, give stability to Charlie, the older guy. They have known each other through mutual friends/family so there is that history of turning friends into lovers trope on top of age gap.

I love Kate’s stories. I really love the Room for Love series and adding in Evan’s delightful narrations makes them so enjoyable. I look forward to listening to the next book too. This book had age gap, best friends brother , power exchange, and totally delightful to read/listen.

I had a lot of problems with the beginning of this book. Eddie and his college plot line was gross feeling. His professor asked to have sex with him and he does and he acts like it's all fine but it gets him expelled? He's in his first semester of college, just being allowed to go out on his own, he was vulnerable and she took advantage of it. There is not enough discussion about how gross this is, just rug swept it and moved on.

I really do relate to Charlie because I also have a hard time putting things down and letting other people to them.

Cameron and Eddie fighting about their romantic relationships with the others family member is just exhausting

Nice addition

Nice addition to the Cherry Creek saga.
Charlie, the eldest of the Motel brothers, finds love with his youngest brother's BF, Eddie. There's a little light domination and submission, but mostly its about finding your true self with the one you love.
Helpful to have read some of the other books for character reference.

I love Eddie. I wasn't sure how soon that would happen considering how he acted in Reckless, but there are of course multiple sides to every story and Eddie's is surprisingly emotional. Which wasn't that shocking as Reckless made me tear up, so seeing Eddie's side of things was bound to make me want to cry as well. I didn't, but it was a near thing.

Charlie is the oldest Motel brother, he's more like a father than a brother to the others. He's spent his life caring for his younger brothers and putting them first that he never figured out that his needs are equally as important. My heart went out to him. I knew that I was going to love his story because you could feel from the previous two books ow good of a person he is by the way he loves his brothers. Even before you get to his book you want him to have a happily ever after because that's what the person who does everything for everyone deserves.

What I love about this book the most is they don't spend a lot of time questioning the how or the why. Yes, there's worry about the age difference, worry about what the other Motel boys will say, but Charlie and Eddie come together because it feels right to them. They make mistakes along the way, but it's all part of their learning process. They learn what the other needs and they try to be that, for each other, for themselves.

Charlie learns that it's okay to be selfish. He's spent so long being and doing everything his brothers needed that he forgot what it felt like to have something for himself. If he ever learned. When Eddie offers him the chance to escape from that he jumps on it. It takes time, a lifetime of caring for his brothers can't be switched off just like that. If it could be he wouldn't have been where he was when Eddie blew into town.

Eddie, sweet, lonely Eddie, learns what it means to be a person's everything. He's spent all this time wanting to be someone who was worth keeping and my heart broke that he never felt like he was. From his fractured friendship with Cameron, to his strained relationship with Luke, and his new friendship with his ex, he's never felt like he was enough. It was so sad and made for an emotional read. I might not have teared up like I did with Reckless, but it was damned close. Faultless is definitely the most emotional book in the series thus far.

Together, Charlie and Eddie learn what they need to be and they work on it. They make mistakes, the flail and get close to losing what they were building because of insecurities, but what makes this book amazing is that they don't let themselves, or each other fall back into bad habits for long. Charlie's brothers are there to catch him and tell him that it's okay for him to let go. James is especially vocal in telling Charlie to not let himself let what makes him happy go. Eddie's presence helps the brothers see the damage they've been causing and it warmed my heart to watch them all adapt and change.

Eddie gets what he needs from Charlie and becomes what Charlie needs and vice versa. They grow and adapt to their new normal. Hard truths are faced, especially when Cameron is called out on his behavior. As the baby, he was allowed to get away with too much, but he's an adult. A young one sure, but he has Luke and Eddie is finally ready to tell both his father and his best friend how he feels. It's not easy for him, nor is it easy to read, because I just wanted to scoop them all up and make everything okay. But they get through it in the end. It's tense and is going to take a lot of work on everybody's part to be a hundred percent okay again, but they know where they all stand now and that is the most important thing.

Charlie and Eddie's relationship develops fast. Once they figure out what the other needs and wants, they try to become that. It's a bubble they live in at first before reality comes calling and they have to learn how to adapt and be together in the real world. Feelings are caught and realized and I don't hate it. Their relationship might take on a life of its own and happen too fast, but it's what they need. Because of those feelings, the two are determined to make it work. They don't just rely on their budding love to see them through everything. That would have made it too unrealistic and it would have been a whole different book for me. It's the feelings they catch early that makes them work hard at building something that would last. Charlie and Eddie both find that they're worthy of keeping and it is a beautiful thing.

The ending of this book is my favorite of the series. Because the Motel brothers and the ones they love come together to create a family. It's not complete, there are two more brothers that need to find love, but at this point in time, you are able to see what a whole and happy family will look like by the time the series is done. I am excited because it's what I've wanted since the beginning.

I adored Cameron and Luke in Reckless (Book 1). Then I read Heartless (Book 2) and was convinced that Levi and James would be my favorite couple in this series. But Eddie and Charlie stole my heart completely and now I'm wondering how wrecked I'll be after reading the last two books in this series. These books are incredible, and I love that as I read each one I'm understanding the Motel brothers' family dynamic more and more.

Charlie is the oldest Motel brother, the father figure to the rest of the brothers. He's a caretaker and a helper, and he spends all his time worrying about everyone else and trying to control everything around him. He's made it his job to fix everyone else's problems so that his mind stays busy and distracted from the mess his personal life has become. The only selfish thing he ever took for himself was Marius, his emotionally manipulative ex-husband who had a long string of affairs before their marriage ended. At the beginning of this book, Charlie is lonely and worn out from life.

Eddie is Cameron Motel's best friend and Luke's son. When I met him in Reckless, I made a bunch of assumptions about what kind of person he is and I'm blown away by just how wrong I was. Eddie presents a carefree, confident persona to the world but in reality is struggling with abandonment issues. He's had a string of hookups that make him feel validated and valued but has never let anyone get close enough to hurt him when they walk away. He's very aware of his own emotions and fears, but that doesn't stop him from trying to make himself important enough to not be left behind. When this story picks up, Eddie's just been kicked out of college for fucking his professor and needs a place to stay.

When Eddie shows up at the Cherry Creek hotel, Charlie swoops in to solve all his problems. What he doesn't expect is for Eddie to seduce him and see straight through him. In just a few hours, Eddie exposes how toxic Charlie's life has become and demands that he take a break from shouldering everyone else's burdens. With Eddie's help, Charlie is finally able to relax and let go of some control.

I absolutely loved the dynamic between Eddie and Charlie. Eddie is dominant and caring without being controlling or overbearing. He gives Charlie the safety to tell other people "no" without feeling guilty. Neither man expects their relationship to be more than a temporary indulgence, but as the days go by they fall deeper and deeper for each other. Just when it seems like they're ready to open themselves up completely, Cameron comes back from vacation and all of Charlie's bad habits re-emerge.

Eddie and Charlie have to do some serious soul-searching before they're ready to give their relationship a real shot. Charlie has to learn how to put himself first without using Eddie's dominance as a crutch and let everyone else live their own lives. Eddie has to come to terms with his fear of abandonment, anger towards Luke, and self-loathing. In some ways, I think the time that Charlie and Eddie spend apart is more important than when they initially come together. Without space to sort themselves out, Eddie and Charlie would never have talked about the painful, messy parts of their lives. Only after some self-reflection could the two of them explore the deepest, most intimate parts of their love.

Though Eddie and Charlie's romance is definitely the focus of this story, I felt like so many other important things happened in this book. The tangled mess of Luke and Cameron and Charlie and Eddie finally reached a breaking point, and they all had to talk it out instead of ignoring how complicated their lives have become. Eddie had one last confrontation with Kevin to seal off any chance of him coming back into Eddie's life. The one-year contract to stay in Cherry Creek ended and each brother had to decide if they're going to stay or leave. Best of all, Andy is finally back! I'm absolutely dying to see what comes next for these brothers. While a lot of their issues were resolved in this book, there's still so much more I want to know about this family!

Eddie wasn't sure where he was supposed to go when his mistake changed the course of his future. But when calls to one of his fathers go unanswered, Cherry Creek proves to be his only option.

Oh Charlie!
Always in dad mode, constantly worried about everyone else but himself and always doing what is expected of him. With a failed marriage in his past, Charlie would like to find a companion but doesn't think love is for him anymore...ENTER Eddie

This is another great addition to the Motel brothers. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next one!

Let me start by saying this was a great read. Of the three books in this series I have read so far, this is the least kinky of them all. This story is mostly an age gap with a tiny bit of domination but it is mostly just used to help the character learn to relax. In all, I loved this book and I am enjoying these brothers and their journies to find love.

Now to my complaints. At this point in the series, I have realized that there are a lot of side characters that also have their own books, but some are written by a different author! Now the fact that it is a different author isn't what bothers me, it is that I like to read things in order and I feel like there was no indication that these other books should have been read first. Now it's not that you have to read them to get what's going on in this story but if you want to know how other side characters that you meet in this series that you have to dig to find the other books.

So if there are other readers out there like me that want to read these other books I will try to help out. I haven't read them all yet myself but I spent some time trying to find them all!

Cloudy with a Chance of Love--By E.M. Lindsey, Kate Hawthorne, and EM Denning.
--This is the story of the three husbands Collin, Max, and Spencer.
--I just finished reading this will review
Unfettered--by Kate Hawthorne
--This is the "6th" brother's story, Beau and Heath
The whole "One the Market" Series by E.M. Lindsey
-Book one- is Simon's story (Bakery Owner)
-Book two- is Fitz's story (Fire Chief)
-Book three-is Parker's story (Doctor)
-Book four-Not sure we have met either of these characters at this point in the series...at least I don't recognize the names and I haven't read it yet.
-Book five- also not sure if we have met these guys yet.

If there is more that I missed please let me know! But I hope that this helps someone else.

Oh I absolutely loved this book!!! Charlie and Eddie were everything I hoped for and more. Their dynamic and relationship were so well written. Charlie, although older, really still had a lot of growing to do. He was so used to worrying about everyone else in his life that he never learned how to take care of himself. Enter Eddie, almost half his age, to take over and help Charlie learn to put himself first. Oh Eddie had his own issues to get through as well, but for a 19 year old he was refreshingly mature about a lot of things...but he also had a lot of complex issues to work through as well, especially surrounding his dads and his best friend Cameron. How Charlie and Eddie supported each other, loved each other and helped each other work through things was just such a joy to read ( and very, very sexy too!). Their journey to their HEA was so wonderful!
There were also so many other complex family dynamics in this book that were just so very well done. All the Motel brothers were front and center as well as their significant others. While this could have been confusing and messy, Kate Hawthorne expertly wove them into the story. With each book in this series we see more character development from all the brothers, more family issues slowly worked through and more love and friendships develop, it is such a joy!
I highly recommend at least reading Reckless before this book since Luke and Cameron play such a key role in Charlie and Eddie's relationship. Their backstory is really key to enjoying the complex relationships that get worked on in this book. I am thoroughly enjoying this world Ms. Hawthorne has created and cannot wait for the next Motel brother's story!!!

The tables are turned at the Cherry Creek Lodge when the older brother and son of the two characters from this series’ book one accidentally fall in love. It’s not seamless, and it’s often awkward for everyone involved, but in the end, Eddie is precisely what Charlie needs, and vice versa. It’s an interesting happily ever after, but I’m certainly not mad at it.

Eddie had already charmed me through his appearances in E.M. Lindsey’s On the Market series, so it was fun to read his “origin story” of settling in Cherry Creek (and getting his job at Parker’s medical practice). He’s a natural caretaker, which goes far toward explaining how quietly disgruntled he becomes at the relationship between his father and best friend earlier in this series. I have the feeling that not being able to work through those feelings leads to why he ends up in Cherry Creek in the first place. However, that caretaker impulse finally finds a true home in Charlie, who is more than ready to hang up the unofficial title of Motel family patriarch now that his youngest sibling is an adult. However, Charlie hasn’t figured that out yet, and following the two men as they go on these journeys together is a treat.

Once again, this book overlaps with others in the series and the On the Market books. Hawthorne walks a delicate line when it comes to surprising readers with an outcome that’s already “written,” as it were, but I’m thoroughly enjoying this series. I look forward to reading about the next brother’s love story and continuing to enjoy my own extended stay in Cherry Creek.

Charlie and Eddie aren’t what I expected but they are oh so much better for it. This book is very much about growing pains, accepting new/changing roles and setting boundaries. With Eddie its not completely surprising that a young college guy would still be learning all these things, even when he’s wise for his age and thinks he’s got this adulting thing down. But Charlie had put his life on hold so he could raise his brothers, forgot how to let go when they grew up and never does anything for himself. There’s a wonderful give and take to their relationship dynamic. It’s not strictly defined, its just who they are and what they need from each other at any given moment.

Emotion ruled this book. Charlie learning to balance prioritizing his own needs and finding the boundaries that let him enjoy being a brother. Eddie reaching a breaking point over his feelings of abandonment and inadequacy. Some of these feels were loose ends from Reckless, Eddie’s relationships with his dad Luke and his best friend Cameron. Charlie’s steadiness helps to settle Eddie and in return Eddie gives Charlie permission to let go and be a little selfish.

We’re now over halfway through the quirky Motel brothers and I love everything about them and Cherry Creek. The vibrant personalities of the town help to keep these crazy brothers grounded. Small town life has never held so much appeal and I can’t wait for more.

I enjoyed this story which covered the relationship between Eddie and Charlie but also the emotions around all of the Motel brothers and their relationships. Eddie and Charlie's dynamic was unusual but right for them. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was a MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Another unusual mm romance

In the first book Eddie's best friend, Cameron has a love affair with Eddie's father causing some hurt feelings. Cameron and Luke go on to establish their life in Cherry Creek at the hotel left to all the Motel brothers in their fathers will. In this book Eddie has been expelled from his college for having sex with his professor in the classroom. Neither of his dads were available to him, one ditched him and the other was vacationing in Hawaii with Cameron, so he shows up at the hotel, broke with no place else to go and Charlie the oldest of the Motel brothers takes him in. Eddie has always had a crush on Charlie but Charlie doesn't feel it's right to act on it. So begins quite a dance to a relationship that gives each of them just what they each need. Of course there is fallout, drama and testing of family ties with a good HEA for this couple as well as the two others from the previous two books. A good read.

hehehe oh this one is so far the funniest of the coupling, Charlie the oldest brother has been hooking up with one of the locals, they were just there for each other and wanting some company. Eddie, who was away at college Cameron's best friend, the son of Cameron's boyfriend Luke, oh the amount they have all known each other for all of their lives. Eddie was on getting kicked out of college after getting caught sleeping with his professor, and not knowing what to tell his dad he went to cherry creek to the motel to figure out what to do next with his life and what to tell his dad when he got back from his vacation with Cameron. One thing both Eddie and Charlie didn't expect was to have odd feelings for each other and wanting to bang each other. Will they give in to their wants and needs or will they keep thinking of the other while relieving themselves during their alone time. oh this one was a good i can't wait to get to the next one.

I couldn’t wait to read this one and I wasn’t disappointed. Charlie and Eddie are one of my favorite couples in this world so far and after I felt like Eddie’s dad and best friend were a bit selfish in their own book I was ready for Eddie to find someone who valued him. There are some bumps along the way to their HEA and I may have cried at some of the emotional parts but I also laughed, smiled and felt the love between these characters. I was happy that Eddie’s feelings were discussed with his dad and best friend instead of being swept under the rug because it went a long way to redeeming Luke and Cam in my eyes. These can be read as stand-alone books but they are much better read together in my opinion. I highly recommend all of the books in this world/universe so far and can’t wait for more.

This story was so good! While everyone else brought all their problems to oldest Motel brother Charlie, it was wonderful to see Eddie wanting to take care of him. In return, Charlie helped Eddie to figure out what he wanted his next steps to be in life, as Eddie still tried to adjust to his father's relationship with Charlie's baby brother. (Luke and Cameron's book was Heartless.) The age gap between Charlie and Eddie didn't bother me at al, and these two were so good together!
I really enjoyed getting to see all the characters in Cherry Creek from different points of view. This series, and the intertwined stories from E.M. Lindsey, all set in the lovely small town of Cherry Creek, are engrossing and full of love. I loved Eddie and Charlie's romance, and I look forward to the next book in this world.

Eddie & Charlie are unique main characters

This is a cute inversion of Luke & Cameron’s story in the first book of this series. Sex is used as a shorthand love language, but there are also a lot of sweet moments of dialogue
to show Eddie & Charlie evolving & fun banter with the brothers and their friends.

I appreciated how both Charlie and Eddie are a little fragile and needy. Eddie because he feels like everyone has abandoned him & he uses sex as an artificial way to create connection. Charlie because he’s put his own needs after all his brothers since their mother died over a dozen years ago.

This story takes place at same time as EM Lindsey’s On the Market: Love Him Free. It was fun to see a tiny bit of Simon & Rocco.

I absolutely adore Eddie and Charlie, they are both exactly what the other needed. I love how well Kate Hawthorne develops her characters, we get to watch them grow, learn, be stubborn as hell or change. I love that Eddie recognized exactly what Charlie needed, and that in turn Charlie learned what he needed to be for Eddie. I had a feeling this was going to be one of my favorites in this series, and it totally is...so far. As a side note, the character Parker is epic and I need him in my life and I cannot wait for Elaine Lindsey to write his story. Cherry Creek remains the place to be and the series to read.

Faultless is the third book in the Room for Love series by Kate Hawthorne. This contemporary m/m romance has a best friend's brother theme with an age gap. This story has angst, humor, sweetness and steam...along with family drama. I loved seeing the dynamics between the brothers for the over arching plot of the series. And the main plot of this book was fun and sweet, with just enough heat. Charlie and Eddie are great and I loved them together. Cant wait to read more books in series, so far they are all fantastic.

Great add to the series. Eddie and Charlie make me swoon! Perfect mix of sweet and sexy. I've been waiting for Charlie to get his HEA and this plot was perfection. You feel for both of these guys and the struggles they try to overcome; and along the way finding their missing pieces. Am loving each book in the series so far and all feel different and being tied to Cherry Creek is a fun town to be in. Great side characters flow with the new and I can't wait to see what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.

I didn’t buy into Eddie and Charlie as a couple. Eddie is a nineteen year old without a job, expelled from college, dependent on his dad for money, and no clue of what he wants to do with his life.

Charlie is almost forty, has been responsible for his younger brothers and the running of a hotel. Other than sex, I don’t think Eddie brings much to the table. Charlie is stressed, heck we all are out here in the real world. He becomes this jelly fish when Eddie is around and not capable to making his own decisions or to run his own life.

Also, Cameron across as a spoiled brat.
