1) Quite a good read and I think a nice primer. I took a course in parallel and used this book for a bit in-depth reading.
Although this isn't the newest version, I currently don't plan to actual take the exam.
2) This is a recension of my first read of the successor version due to a preparation for the exam. This is not going to be the last time I read it though.
I think the never version is quite readable and with the usage of more media like summaries of chapters on a webpage, videos and animated gifs more memorisable.
3) After my second read of this edition I wonder what the point of some of the animated gifs is and I somehow miss a bit of a better central theme than the homematic thing. Oh and some words about the exam would be quite nice.
