A disciple of Jessa Kane

It's my first time reading this author, but I've had her on my radar for a bit.

Insta-everything smutty novella (because what else do you turn to when you've had two 2 ★ and two DNFs in a row) with a bear shifter twist.

While it's in the style of JK, I think it lacked the charm. I can't really pinpoint what exactly so the best I can do is JK is bright sunny yellow and this was more like matte, pastel yellow.

I'll try her again, I think, but I still prefer JK.

Great shifter story

I love a shifter story when they are only with their mates! Steamy and safe, definitely hit the spot

-no cheating
-no ow drama
-om/om drama (there were shifters who were after her but she had never dated or been with them in any way)
-great epilogue

This one is fun novella and steamy and shifters!!!

Cameron and his brothers own a farm and since their is no rainy season few things are drying up and they hope they csn survive the season. Cameron has a job to get some suppiles and he runs into his Mate who flags him down trying ro outrun some shifters who wanna do some horrible things to her. Oh no never come after a bears mate. He takes those tigers to town. Now he gets to spend time with Willow his mate learning shes new in town, she's adorble and he just loves how she's trying to save his bloody arm lol their sparks flying between them.. and well who wouldn't wanna have sex in the rain ;) bug they still have to deal with those tigers.. and we get hints of the other brothers.

I had to laugh and shake my head at willow.. girl if you werent his mate he wouldn't have been naked and taking you home and giving you heart eyes. are you that dence?

Como siempre Olivia no decepciona. El libro lo acabé ayer pero estaba vaga para hacer reseña. Es un libro cortito, amor a primera vista, macho alfa posesivo y final ultra feliz. Ya sabéis cómo va, un bocadito para pasar el rato 😏

I'm so so so looking forward to Adrian's book but that's probably gonna be the only one on this series that I'll read tbh. In this one the heroine is just,,,, not very likable and kind of dense imo. Like she gets mad at a horse though she's the one who said yes to riding it when she doesn't know how to ride one and what, she didn't think it was all that important to know how?? Did she think she was gonna just use her intuition and it would be fine? Uhm alright.

Another thing, Cameron tells her he has a mate and she assumes it's someone other than her but three seconds later she hopes that she'll get to see him naked again. That's the equivalent of meeting a man, him telling you he's married, and you thinking "i hope i get to see him naked". I'm just saying, if you as an author choose to go the route of the heroine believing the hero isn't available, you should keep in mind that it'll affect how she thinks and feels about him - like sure, you can write she's attracted to him, but make sure to mention that she feels guilty about it or that she thinks nothing can ever come of it since she believes he isn't single. Otherwise it'll come off as her being open to having an affair. It felt very unrealistic that her thoughts about him weren't affected by him saying he's mated.

I doubt I'll read the other brothers' stories when they're released. They don't seem super unique, and remind me a lot of this author's other grizzly bear series' heroes. Adrian's bear being feral is something I haven't read from the author before though, so I'm definitely reading that one.

Willow is new in town and quickly catches the eye with Cameron Bowen, he is her mate after all. It doesn't take much to convince Willow she is his but there are other shifters in town that want to create havoc and Cameron is determined to keep Willow safe, sated, and his.

This was a fun quickie but it was rushed. I would have liked a bit more interaction there is some but then it is BAM. Looks to be an entertaining series.

Hot sexy possessive grizzly

Cameron can't wait to find his mate. It's been a long time coming. To his surprise he run into her when he is on his way to get feed.

He saves her from 3 tiger shifters. Once they come together Willow and Cameron's relationship is a quick Insta love. Meet, save, sleep together, move in together and claim let's not forget getting pregnant.

My only question is what happens when Willows lifespan is so much shorter than his?

Not For Me

2 Stars.

While I can understand others liking this story it's Not For Me.
The writing flow is decent but the story itself and the main characters are not my cup of tea.
A 19 year old virgin that's never been kissed and apparently has body issues because she's 'Curvy' & a 32 year old bear shifter that is so possessive he wants to keep her out of sight????
I get it. But for me it's all a bit too 'Teenage Romance' and OTT in the wrong places.
I'll explore a different series of this author sometime in the future.
But this one is a DNF for me at chapter 5, page 27, 36%.

I really enjoyed this series Carnal Alpha : The Alpha's Obsession Book 1 By Olivia T. Turner . I love how Cameron meets Willow ,she's just moved to town she felt drown to she's out looking for a job when she sees three men watching her she goes to cross the street and blows and her dress flies up then they calling her saying bad things to her she starts running down street's looking for the Police station that's where her mother told her to run to if she ever felt threaten but she doesn't no where they are at she runs down an alley it looks like a dead end so she turns around gets her can of hair spray ready to spray in there eyes she sees only two one of them left she thought . She sees an opening an runs for it one of them grabs her she drops her resume she sprays him in his eyes an runs screaming and running down the street she sees a truck and runs ,for it . Cameron can't believe what seeing until her scream he stops the truck and gets out three guys are running toward them he pulls Willow behind him she fills drown to him, she is his mate the three men want her but he tells them she is his ,they turn into three tigers and he turns into a Grizzly Bear and tears them up . When they into the truck he tells her she is safe they pass the alley she ran from she sees those three guys found her papers with her address and phone number on them so Cameron tells Willow she's coming home with him to stay . I recommend 18 and up .

Willow was drawn to this country side town
When the wind blows her skirt up three hulking men take notice. Scared and embarrassed she tries to avoid them. They chase with malicious intent.
Cameron is on a mission his cattle are hungry, there hasn't been rain in weeks and his bear is acting up .
All those things come to a screeching halt when he nearly runs over Willow (HIS MATE!!!). She looks scared. Turns out the three men are tiger shifters no match for s grizzly shifter fighting for his mate.
Willow is drawn to this incredible man. Now naked after saving her tail.
A little bit confused some misunderstanding about Cameron's mate. She doesn't know its her yet.
The book is dirty, intense and a really good read.
A horse with her own agenda, a feral grizzly bear, a dip in the lake a few confessions and we have a winner. But what happened to the three tiger shifters who made one more attempt to get to Willow at her apartment , where are they now?
Which one of Cameron's brothers find their mate next?

The first in a new shifter series, this book quickly lays out the groundwork without taking too much page time from the main couple, Cameron and Willow. Cameron is a growly, alpha, mountain of a hero whose inner bear has gotten increasingly restless to find their mate, which they do during a trip to town where he saves Willow from being assaulted by 3 tiger shifters. He whisks her away to his home for her own safety, of course, and the rest is all steamy sweet goodness.

OTT's heroes are consistently delicious, and this one doesn't disappoint in that regard. Willow is a likable heroine, but a little more of a blank slate. I do like that she showed herself to be capable as she thought on her feet while trying to get away from the tiger shifters pursuing her and also how she embraced her new reality of being a grizzly shifter's mate.

What’s better than insta-everything romance? How about a bear shifter insta-everything romance with enough steam and growly alpha goodness that your kindle might melt and you’ll need to take cold shower after you finish? That’s exactly what Olivia has penned with Cameron and Willow’s story in her newest shifter romance. She nailed it with the chemistry and the slight bit of suspense and action with Carnal Alpha. I have been a fan of Olivia’s since the beginning and keep getting reminded of why I love her writing so much with this newest addition. I can’t wait to devour the other Bowen brother’s stories and will definitely keep this one handy for a future re-read.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Cameron and Willow. Cameron s a bear shifter and hasn't found his fated mate yet. One day while he was in town getting supplies for his ranch, he heard a woman scream and then she was in the road in front of him. Cameron almost hit Willow, but he also knew right away she was his mate. Willow was being mugged by two tiger shifters and Cameron came to her rescue. Willow felt drawn to the small town and when she met Cameron, she knew he would keep her safe. I liked this new book from the new series. This was a quick and steamy read. I love how protective Cameron was and how he reacted to finding his mate. I look forward to reading more.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Carnal alpha is book one in the ‘’Alpha’s obsession’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Willow is new in town when she gets in danger. Cameron is a bear shifter and a rancher. When he saves Willow he knows she is his mate.
The chemistry between Cameron and Willow is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. They made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Grizzlies, tattoos and rippling muscles. Oh My!

CARNAL ALPHA is the first book in a new shifter series THE ALPHA’S OBSESSION by Olivia T Turner. I love shifters! They are always looking for their mates no matter how long it takes. Once they find their mates it is always insta love! The book has a little protective drama by Cameron and lots of hot sexiness with Willow. I can hardly wait for the next several books in the series.

I will never look at another Garfield suction cup without feeling a little titillated. Olivia T Turner sure knows how to write a hot sexy scene! Just saying......

Wow what a great first book for the series. Cameron finds his mate as she runs in the middle of the road shouting for him to stop. Willow can’t believe this happening new to the town and has three men chasing her she gets away by running down the middle of the road towards a truck only to be stuck staring at him and him at her only breaking contact when the three men come out of the alley for her where Cameron turns into a bear to fight off the now three lions. Cameron can’t believe he has found his mate and now he will protect, provide for her and be obsessive and possessive with her but Willow doesn’t mind she loves it.

Full of steam the whole way! I loved the age gap too, as always it just made things so much steamier between Cameron and Willow.
Loved how he saved her and then when those tigers came back to her place, he made sure they knew who they were messing with.
Insta love is on its own level and I love how fast paced but filling this book was. Had a great pace, lots of details that pertained to the story and set up the next book in line. Was the perfect book to read on vacation, got all the steam I needed and the HEA to go with it.
The second epilogue was even better. I love finding out what happens after so many years.

Cameron is just running his ranch with his brothers waiting for his mate but losing hope, even his bear is losing hope. One his way to town for feed for the cattle he literally almost runs over his mate, Willow who running from three men. Once Cameron finds her his savage animal comes out to protect and possess. Willow feels the instant attraction to Cameron and the sexy shifter sooner informs her she's his forever, his mate. This is a dirty shifter tale that will have wanting your own possessive grizzly.

I kind of loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. The three guys that chased Willow were real jerks and definitely deserved the comeuppance that they got. Cameron cracked me up as did Willow's reaction to him. Willow's trust in Cameron even though they had just met was amazing. Cameron was protective, possessive, and caring. Willow was adventurous, courageous, and sweet. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Starting another amazing series by OTT, and I have to say if the rest of the series is anything like this book we’re all in for a serious treat and nothing less than we’ve all come to love.

Cameron and Willow are head over heels for each other but with obstacles in the way will they navigate through to a happily ever after?.

If you have a passion for romance, growly alphas and plenty of sass and heat this is a must read.

The Bowen brother are biting at the bit to find their mates.
Cameron almost runs his over when she runs down the road at his truck.
Willow can't believe the instant and powerful feelings she has for Cameron. It's so much more then gratitude for him saving her.
He can't believe his luck having his mate with him now. He couldn't be happier as the day she comes into his life. That same day is the day so many good things happen.

Cute short about a bear shifter. h is new to town and one day is being harassed by 3 guys who are tiger shifters. H saves her and realizes she is his fated mate! He fights tiger shifters and then takes h to his ranch.
They tangle with the tiger shifters 1 more time and H again wins. Has a good epilogue. Next story is younger brother, I’m looking forward to the more feral brother. Why does he not shift back to human?

Cameron is Willow's hero.

Willow is new in town and trying to find a job. Too bad she attracts the attention of three on the street one day while out handing out resumes. As she's running away from the three men she runs right out in front of Cameron's truck while he was on his way to the feed store. The instant Cameron sees Willow he knows he's found his mate, now he just needs to keep her safe and claim her. Great read and I highly recommend it!

New to town Willow is looking for a job but runs into trouble. Being followed and chased by 3 men she is running and looking for help and see's cameron. He knows instantly he has found his mate, fights the 3 tiger shifters and saves her.
Cameron bring her back to his ranch where he will keep her safe.There’s something about him that calms her. He soothes her. He makes he feel at home.

DNF 60%. Just so much dumbness. First it’s about a virgin who is only 19 and has never been kissed and her virgin cowboy mate who talks like he’s been watching too much porn. It’s a short read but it’s so lacking in story. It’s like the author wanted to write about two people banging and didn’t really care if they had a backstory or were actual characters. She might as well have not named them. Boring.
