This book Droplets: A Real-Time Horror Story written by Arunayan Sharma is a very short story that the author has created to raise your interest and curiosity.

I like the way the author Arunayan Sharma has written this story in an impressive way that captures the attention completely and you will find yourself lost also you would want to read more.

Even though the story is short but from the description of the character to building suspense, everything is written impressively. The only thing that I didn't like was that the story finished too early and I wanted to read more. But no issues in that as the author has many more books so I can read them:)

Overall a quick short read that will grasp your attention fully. So read now the book Droplets: A Real-Time Horror Story written by Arunayan Sharma.

Disappointing Read

Well, as it is said it's horror plot. I had set my mind into real horror thrill.... But it was disappointing, leaving readers hanging with not as good as normally thriller plot. Felt like a stab in my back...

Book Name: Droplets

Author: Arunayan Sharma

Format: Kindle

Pages: 14

Summary: The story is about a working girl who is very careless about her career and does not care about herself both in her personal and professional life. One such day when she rushes to her office, something happened which leads to a series of consequences. The story is continued in the second part.

My Take: Droplets is a fast-paced short story. The language is pretty simple. You will finish it in one seating itself. It is like a snack break read.

The title is very interesting and I loved the idea of how it merges with the context of the book. The cover picture is also very attractive.

I found the narration to be a little fast which was unnecessary according to me. In a flash read like this the reader gets a very short time to get accustomed to the characters. I felt that the connection building part was completely missing in this book. You don’t feel for the protagonist. Besides that, I feel there was no need of continuing the story to the next part. I would have loved to get a proper ending.

The suspense building part was good. A drama was maintained throughout the book. I would recommend the book to all those readers who are in search of something short and quick.

I will give this book 3/5

Review -
Starting from the cover of the book it is very well designed and the title is totally apt to the content. The plot of this short story is interesting and thriller. It is a perfect blend of suspense, thrill, and horror. The author has very well narrated the horror of this pandemic situation in fewer words like social distancing, hygiene and fear of droplets in a sarcastic way. The language used is simple. Hats off to the author for his imagination. I liked these type of symbolic short stories.
Eagerly waiting for it's sequel ie, it's investigation part.
I disliked only one thing that the story is too short.
Overall, a short and nice read.

🔸Story , which basically related to some case where author itself played a role as Forsenic Crime Investigation officer.
Meanwhile it's a story of working girl who is not giving much attention to his life whether professional or personal.
At last , story & investigation will continue in the next part of the book.
🔘Point to be noted🔘
🔸Overall the book is average for the upcoming readers.

Realistic

Droplets is mentioned as a real time horror story because it is actually based on a real incident. It took me a second read to realize that this horror story (only the introduction is given in this book) is based on an incident that we are all aware of.

This is literally the fastest horror story I've ever read. And it consists of prologue as well as an epilogue. Author is really amazing to be able to write such short yet fulfilled story.
