Interesting read. It's nice to get to know the person behind the books. He's had a tragic life with the loss of his mother and wife. He's still managed to make the best of it. I found it sweet how he felt he had to keep his promiss and take care of his friend's mother. Also how he felt responsible for his wife's sons after her death. Sad to read he only lived to 64, but amazing how much he has managed to leave behind anyway.
