I was so glad to see this available on Kindle Unlimited. I loved getting to read these deleted and bonus scenes, particularly the Christmas scenes and the ones featuring Billy and Claire. I am really looking forward to the Cletus and Jenn mysteries.

If you have read the Winston Brothers series then this will probably be a fun read for you. There are a lot of short little additions that didn't make the cuts for the books but had a little something to them. Some were really good and heartwarming and others are just so-so.

Overall a fun read that I'm glad I picked up from the library since I'm not sure I'd ever read it again.

This was really gross. Like what the hell. What. Was. The. Point.
Why write this? Don't ruin Cletus for me with this non-sense.

But uhm. Unrelated. When does Isaac's book come out? Asking for a friend.

Ash & Drew are so cringey. It's like a different person writes them.

Como buena fan de esta serie tenía que leer esta recopilación.

Aquí encontramos, escenas extras, escenas que fueron eliminadas, escenas que la autora compartió en su Newsletter.

La que más me gustó fue la carta para Santa de Cletus casi lloro de la risa y obviamente su escena extra que no es canon de Cletus y Jenn.

La que no me gustó fue la de Scarlet y es que cuando no está con Billy no me gusta porque su historia trágica hace doler a mi kokorito.

Tienen que leerlo si aman esta serie tanto como yo.

I had this audio on another app. I received Penny's newsletter yesterday. I realized that it it's also available on Hoopla. Approx 141 pages, 3 hrs 14 min Chris Brinkley & Joy Nash narrate
I enjoyed the clips/deleted scenes. My favorites were of Cletus and Jennifer; Diane and Repo; Beau and Jessica; Drew and Ashley. These clips were fun and cheeky.
Billy and Claire's clip was longer than the others. It really squeezed my heart.
Diane and Repo's clip was perfect timing since I'm eagerly waiting on their book: Beard in Hiding -Coming out Oct 19th !

What a wonderful novella/bonus books.

Each short literally brings your right back to those stories I loved it. You see so much more of the behind the scenes and also see the true nature of each character.

Deleted scenes in books are like movie blooper reels-I love them! I love any excuse to see more of my favorite characters. Even though I have most of the scenes featured in A Beardy Bonus floating around cyberspace, I’m thrilled to have them bundled into one handy volume

ONE WHOLE STAR FOR THE NARRATION

If you're a fan (I am) of the Winston Brothers you'll enjoy these. They're shorts and outakes at different stages in the series. I think many (most?) of them had been available in newsletters from the author and such.

Having the audio available in the Plus catalog was a sweet bonus. The inclusion of a story about a satellite couple to this series, Diane & Jason, Jennifer Sylvester's mom & Repo, from the local hated motorcycle club, was very welcome. I'd read a whole story about these two.

Some were fun, especially Cletus and Jennifer‘s moments. They’re probably my favourite couple from the whole series anyways so it might be some favouritism lol. Also, enjoyed Jennifer‘s moms moment. I haven’t finished the whole series, so there were some characters I wasn’t familiar with which made some of the to be okay.

To be fair, I’d already listened to a few of these extras through the audios being sent out as part of the Patreon group for SmartyPants Romance. But the main thing to takeaway is just how much I love the Winston brothers, and Cletus talking about his meat especially!

An intriguing idea of putting a collection of cut scenes and bonus material from the series into a collection. It was great as they told where each scene or bonus section would go in the series and then presented the material. It was quite entertaining. I think this is the end of the series at this point which is a fun conclusion, but sad as I know that I am now done visiting the Winston family....unless someone can convince the author to do some more books in the series or we see them pop up in other books that she writes like the knitting series where we first met Ashley Winston. The series is definitely worth the time to read or if you are like me and love audiobooks then this series is one to listen to. The narrators do an outstanding job and lets face it the male voices are simply sexy as hell!

I just totally screwed myself by reading this. Why? Because I completely love this damn series and desperately miss them an a daily occurrence. Reading little snippets about each couple makes me crave a re read of the series. Like, now. Pronto. But I can’t do that right now *pathetic sad face* I must be strong and resist the urge. This makes me even more antsy to read Jenn and Cletus’ spin off!!! Hopefully that will help satiate my hunger for the entire Winston clan. But I’m also scared it will make it worse!!! Send. Help.

if you heart Penny Reid's Winston Brothers series, i recommend you check these out.

if you have not read Penny Reid's Winston Brothers series and you are a fan of beards, pie, romance, and shenanigans, i highly recommend you check out Beauty and the Mustache. (which is technically the first book in the Winston Brothers series. even tho it is also listed as part of another series. trust me on this one, my friends.)

A really fun bonus if you enjoy the Winston Brother series! I wouldn't suggest reading any of it if you haven't read any Winston books.

The only thing I wish was different is if the bonus shorts she wrote were in chronological order. The very first short, is actually the last one in the timeline. And there are no notes from the author about where they fit into the full timeline, so it was confusing trying to fit them in.

Cute and all but mostly deleted scenes and some extras. Most of it is Beard in Hiding so didn't really add a whole lot for me so I wouldn't make the mistake of buying both. Buy this instead of Beard in Hiding and you'll get the few extras along with that.

Much as I enjoyed the Winston Brothers series if you've read all of it, if you've read Cletus and Jen Searching for Pie (which hadn't been released with this novella was published) I can't say this novella full of scenes that did and didn't make it into those books is worth the price. Just my opinion.
