I know who I am—I’m a one-percenter. I’m a bottom feeder of society; at least that’s what I’m told. Sure, I’ve made some mistakes but I’ve paid for them. I’m free and ready to prove that I’m not who everyone thought I was. I want things I never thought were possible until now—until her. Vivian Ward is my salvation and I won’t let her go.

Cillian James walked into my life and turned my boring little world on its ass. Everyone deserves a second chance to make things right and God, I want to be his. I know who he is; who everyone claims him to be but he’s not a killer. They might have given him the nickname “Kill” but those assholes don’t know him like I do. He’s so much more than what they’ve made him.

RoadKill is the first book of the Savage Hell MC Series by K.L. Ramsey. This series is a spin-off from Savage Heat (Royal Bastards MC Book 1).

This is a spin-off from Savage Hell in the Royal Bastards series but you don't need to read that one to enjoy this one. I found it included characters from that book but it served to provide some background. Cillian is trying to move on from a mistake when he meets Viv. They weren't looking for each other but you can sense this is their time. She sees the real him and he helps her overcome her issues. It's exciting, sexy, with some MC danger thrown in.

Cillian 'Kill' James spent over 10 years in jail for a crime he committed as a young man trying to prove himself to get into an MC. He never dreamed of a future, he was just trying to survive to the next day. Vivian Ward, has been dealt her share of bad relationships, she is independent, runs her diner and is not looking for a relationship. Until, a hot sexy Irish man walks in one morning looking for a job. The chemistry between Viv and Cillian is so strong they can't deny it, but Viv is afraid to trust anyone after past hurts. Cillian is honest and upfront with Vivian about everything. There is of course MC drama that can cause some serious problems for the couple. We get to see some past characters and are introduced to new characters also. This is a great fast paced read. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely loved this story and what a great start to a new series. I was happy to catch up with Dallas, Savage, and Bowie. I loved Cillian and Vivian, they are such amazing characters and had such great chemistry. It’s wonderfully written, flowed well from page to page, and the storyline is brilliant. I totally recommend this book and it’s an absolute must read.

I just knew this was going to be a good start to a new series, Cillian 'Kill' James is out of prison and rather than rely on Savage, is looking for work, when he bumps into Vivian Ward the owner of a diner, who instantly gives him a chance by offering him work and a spare room ...... they never make it to a spare room, it's insta lust. Things are good for a while until Savage's daughter is kidnapped by the Dragons. Now part of his parole is that he cannot mix with ex cons or club members, but this is different for him, this is family and he needs to help.

There is more to this, but i would be spoiling it for readers, so just go grab a copy, i definitely recommend it.

I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

This was a great start to a new series.
I loved catching up with Savage,Bowie and Dallas. I thought it was great that they had sucj a big part in this story... kinda like a part 2.
Cillian (Kill) and Viv were great together. The chemistry was there right from the start.
Loved the twists and turns in the plot and the rivalry beyween the MC gangs.
Looking forward to Repos story next.

Roadkill was a great start to a new series and a great catch up on Savage, Bowie and Dallas.
Cillian James has had a long 10 years. After Savage wouldn't let him prospect for Savage Hell MC he decided to join Dragons MC which ended him in a huge mess. A 10 year mess to be exact. After coming home he meets Vivian Ward after going into her diner for lunch. He gets more than lunch while he's there. She hires him as a cook and provides him with a place to live. Soon they find they're a lot more than employer and employee but it don't take long and trouble comes knocking. The Dragons manage to create chaos again with their trafficking operation. Cillian and the Savage Hell have to figure out how to take care of the problem and get one of their own back safely. Vivian and Cillian have a long road ahead of them but together they can conquer anything.

WOW!! This book takes you on an emotional ride. I was content, happy, sad, mad and then it would repeat. The loyalty and devotion to the MC family by all is heartwarming. This book proves there are good and bad guys in the world and terrible things happen, but love will prevail! Loved the emotional ride Cillian and Viv took me on!

Awesome MC Ride. This is a spinoff from Ms. Ramsey’s Royal Bastard book, Savage Heat (you don’t have to read Savage Heat first but I highly recommend it as the characters do overlap). We first met Cillian in S.H. He was a young boy taken under the Prez’s wing as a favor to Cillian’s father. At that time Cillian was a wild young man who got into some trouble with the law. He was made an example of and sent to prison on a trumped up charge and spent years behind bars. Roadkill starts as Cillian is released. He is now an adult with a level head and wants nothing more than to prove to himself and Savage (the club prez) that he’s changed.

Cillian is out of prison and needs two things, a place to live and a job. But finding a job when you're a convicted felon isn’t easy. That is until he stops in a local diner and meets Vivian, the owner who is a sassy funny spitfire who just so happens to believe in second chances. She not only gives Cillian a job but also rents him a room in her home. Well dangling a sexy, curvy woman in front of a man who’s been in prison for 10 years might not be the best idea she’s ever had but somehow it just seems right, for both of them. Vivian sees a side to Cillian that most people don’t see - but what happens when trouble comes calling and Cillian has to step up for his Savage MC brothers, which is a total violation of his parole? Will Vivian understand that side of Cillian? Can he do what he must and not lose the woman he loves?

The book is a whirlwind of action, romance and suspense. Highly Recommend grabbing up both Savage Heat and Roadkill; You won’t regret it. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.

This story is twisted, full of action and tells a story of second chances at a good life for two people who have had some rough patches.

Cillian was set up and used as an example when he was a young man. Now he has done his time and is ready to live a full life. The only trouble is that he’s limited on finding someone to give him a chance since he is an ex-con. His luck changes when he decides to stop into the little diner for a cup of coffee and he meets Vivian.

Vivian has been working hard to make ends meet since she inherited the diner from her grandmother. She struggles to keep employees who are willing to work and show up to work. She has trouble finding reliable employees and works hard to keep her diner opened and not have to break her back to keep it going. She is lonely and wants a family of her own, but she doesn’t seem to have any luck in finding anyone to share her life with.

I really liked Cillian and Vivian’s story. Cillian has some hurdles to overcome and he needs to find his confidence and overcome his self-doubt as well as find a way to move on with his life and find his path. He has a dream but he has to find his way to make his dream come true and when he finds a way to pay back Savage for all he has done for him, he may give up on that dream and he’ll put his life on the line to save those that he loves. I give this story a 5-star review and I look forward to more in the Savage Hell MC series. The characters are strong, entertaining, and enjoyable to read.

Two lost souls who happen to find each other. Right time right place!!! Both are taking chances in each other. Trying hard to start living life again. Within in these pages the story has hot, fun and scary interactions. This just happens to be one very dysfunctional family full of big bad alpha males. They would lay down their lives for each other. I just loved the bonds and trust that these two have with each other in everyway. A fast pace action filled story from page one to the very end. We also get a sneak peek into the next story coming out way. Can't wait for much more from these two also.

Well what a surprising book!!

So few mc biker books are original nowadays and they're all so formulaic n predictable.

But this book was different. Not least the mmc wasn't all confident n settled in life, he just got out of prison n wasn't even a member. But he was so damn sweet.

Also the mc didn't stay n fight they went n hid with their families. Never seen that in an mc book ever.

It was just all really different. Kept n held my attention throughout.

What a joy to find a new decent biker author that has something different to offer!!!

Now i need to go back n see what else she's written!

Back catalogue here i come!!!

So many issues with this book!

First this book is riddled with typos! Now I can usually over look that but add in the other issues with this book, well they just stood out. This is an Insta lust/ love ex-con meets good girl MC wanna be read! I'm no way shape or form does any MC President run and hide instead of fighting in this book they did. The story brought in some heavy topics ( child trafficking, rape and physically abuse) but wasn't treated or told respectfully. This book imo read like multiple topics set into play but was never fully explored or fulfilled. The characters weren't fully developed, the story had potential multiple times but just couldn't get there!

He was set up from the start but the asshole that caused it or the price. He was in jail 4 a very long x. Once he got out he wanted 2 start over and it's hard 4 con's 2 get a job but his luck turned around 4 the better when he found the person who can turn his life around 4 the better. He found that even if he lost everything there's somethings u can't ever loose which is love for things and close friends. But he got more than he bargained 4 but he has 2 make the only good decision 2 payback kindness and 2 save a few things that's very important in his life 4 the greater good.

So this is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. It kept me entertained and I didn't put it down until I finished it. My only issue with it was it repeated a few things over again and again and that became a little annoying. And some things seemed to be a bit glossed over. But otherwise a very good book!! I loved Kill and Viv and wouldn't have minded this been a bit longer. And I would recommend this book especially if you like MC books.

DNF at 51%. Too many things either don't make sense or are unbelievable (even for fiction 😊). He gets out of prison, meets Viv and not only gets a job working for her but moves in with her and they start sleeping together all in the same day? And she knows he's just out of prison. And the patching and leaving clubs just didn't fit in with the norm of other books. I know every author builds her own world, but it seems to me there are some things that should be uniform through the genre.

Roadkill amazing book , character of Cillian or Kill his road name is very loving and a little dangerous too !! He gets out of prison and looks for a job, finding one at a local diner, and falls in love with the owner. They have an amazing experience together and get married . Along the way they have to live under cover due to a dangerous MC ! I recommend this book with a 5 Stars rating

Couldn’t finish

First, the typos and flat out errors were plentiful. Things like using routing instead of rooting. Then, this guy is out of prison 2 months and everything that could happen starts happening. Pregnancy, obligatory engagement, parole issues, human trafficking! That was when I finally went, “Okay. That’s it. I’m done.”

Great book

Nice start to what appears to be a fantastic series. Enjoyable characters, feisty sassy young woman with attitude to burn, meets hot tattooed ex-con with ties to a biker club, instant attraction, plenty of sexual chemistry, and even romance, add in a rival club, an under cover cop,sex trafficking, and kidnapping and you have one interesting book.

Sweet and heart warming

I loved Vic and Cillians story. I say it was sweet because Cillian is sweet even for a guy who has done time and was screwed over because of a wrong decision. I said heart was because even though Viv doesn't trust easily, this big bad "criminal" made her believe in the good in people. I adored their story and the writing very much.

Unfortunately it took a few chapters to get into it. I really enjoyed the middle of the book but the lack formatting and editing drew away from the storyline. Too many mistakes and not any easy ready as far as books being published correctly
The Author has good ideas. Better stars once the editor and publisher help out

Vivian literally crashed into Cillian’s life. She gave him a home and a job and he gave her a love she had never known. Their unique instalove story had sparks flying while they dodged bullets from a known enemy. This was a fast paced entertaining read. I enjoyed the character crossover from the Savage Heat series.

Thoroughly enjoyed

This was a great book. You might think you've read the story of the bad boy and the girl who'd been hurt in the past. You'd be wrong. Ramsey puts a spin on her stories that keeps you interested from beginning to end.

RoadKill

Someone is always threatening their loved ones. I thought there was something suspicious about Cillian's parole officer. Viv found the perfect soulmate in Cillian, although he acted like an ass in the most important things.
