I always said I wanted a show stopper. Something tells me, I may have just found one.

Do you come to ladies' night and try to use your big muscles and suave moves often? Or maybe you just say "I'm a firefighter; I've got a big hose and I know how to use it' and wait for women to swoon and fall at your feet?"
My lips curve into an amused smirk. "Would it work on you? Because my next move is to take them to the firehouse and show them my big truck. Then, if they're really good, I'll let them slide down my long fireman's pole."

I was already intrigued to begin with, and now more than ever, I can't wait to find out more about the brunette goddess. I've always said I wanted a show stopper. Something tells me, I may have just found one.Marco and his family are persistent and Renee's finding it hard to remember why she was so adamant she didn't want to give Marco a chance. After all, he's nothing like the other man in uniform who used to be in her life. No, Marco is a big, sexy firefighter with a huge heart and shows her things her ex never did.
Respect. Honor. Love. The three cornerstones of my relationship with Marco. The three things he's given me from the start.I've read quite a bit of BJ Harvey's writing and enjoyed all of it, but Show Stopper is definitely my favorite of hers by far. Marco and Renee are that one in a million couple who make their mark on my mind with their innate sweetness, their smokin' chemistry, and more than their fair share of witty dialogue. Though this is a a feel good rom com, it's substantial in character with no fluff involved, lots of steam and a heart enough to light up their Chicago sky. I loved it and all the people who made up Renee and Marco's world.
