The Heirs Series continues with the story of Lilac Jackson, daughter of Sean and Lily Jackson, and an heir to the Black Diamond legacy. The heirs of the Black Diamonds are committed to “protecting those who can not protect themselves”. Lilac, a brilliant young scientist, has fallen in love with Garrett Porter, an equally brilliant owner of a successful tech company. When they meet, he has no clue about Lilac’s skills as a 21st Century warrior or her family background. Some of the most entertaining scenes involve Garrett gradually being introduced to the eclectic and complex personalities who compose Lilac’s expansive family. On the other hand, Garrett’s family history is notable in its on right. He is a scion of Elijah and Sallie Madison, the protagonists of WHEN ELIJAH MET SALLIE, the Fall Black in Love Series. I suggest you read this stand-alone to acquaint yourself with Garrett’s accomplished ancestors.
The side characters are mostly comprised of the Black Diamonds, the Heirs, some of the characters from The Uncut series, and Garretts’ family. I love a story with villains, and the bad guys in this story are bad-to-the-bone. I would be remiss if I did not mention two of the best scenes, in my opinion, in the book. They involve Benjamin Rucker, the male and female versions. No spoilers. If you are a follower, then you are in for a treat. Get ready! There is also a great HEA.
LILAC, the sixth book of The Heirs Series is compelling, entertaining, and quite engaging. I recommend it for your reading pleasure. However, if you are a newbie to this series or any of the Black Diamond series’ books, then I recommend that you start at the beginning with BLACK MAGIC, Book One, and read your way to this book. D Camille’s series are solidly connected, well-developed, and well worth your time.
The side characters are mostly comprised of the Black Diamonds, the Heirs, some of the characters from The Uncut series, and Garretts’ family. His Lovely, Her Warrior❤❤
It was good that Lilac got her heart's desires in Garrett...Love, security, and different. They had very good chemistry and passion together and he proved to everyone that he was worthy of her love. Sean wasn't playing any games when it came to Lilac and we got to experience the original Benjamin Rucker. Garrett had his very own superherion in Lilac and they loved everything about each other. I'm very excited about Xavier and Diamond having a daughter on the way and how fatherhood has really matured Justice allowing us to see him in a different light. I can't wait to see what's going on with Six and Lace. Jade stopped pursuing Julian and now I think that he's getting ready to go at her full steam ahead. On a side note, I don't agree with DNA testing because who knows what's actually being done with the samples and you basically have to sign a release stating that they can do what ever they want with the samples.

WOW!
Lilac the youngest Jackson , showed up and showed out. She is definitely a forced to be recognized and most definitely her father's daughter. As always D Camille writes a compelling
Novel about black love and our culture and the importance of being family whether or not being blood related. This novel took you on a rollercoaster ride where the past comes back to confront
The present . This novel is a must read! I took a long time reading it because I wanted to read Lilac
And Jade together and just could not hold out any longer.. I'm gonna be sad to see this series end❤

I LOVED Lilac
Wow, just WOW. She was everything I thought and so much more. I should have known though she is kin to the X-Men and THEY all are the off spring of one of THE Black Diamonds. Shoot after reading this I think the original Benjamin Rucker IS THE BOMB DIGGITY. I don't want to give anything away in this review about what went down for this latest mission but dang IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING? And, as always with D. Camille projects for me at least, I always learn something, in this one it was about Ms Lacks. PHENOMENAL.

Oh so loved this book. Lilac, was so into not wanting her powers to spoil her finding someone to love her for her. I was also glad when Skye told Jade, to take time out to love herself and when it's time for her to find love it will find her. I'm glad Garrett showed Lilac that she can depend on him for protection. If he would have ran and left her to defend for herself, I would have been so upset. Six need to stop playing with Lace's feelings. Skye neeeds to put Lace on game too, regarding her brother.

Worth every page!
It is so Interesting reading every one of the series by D Camille. First and foremost is the respect for the cultural history . Then there is the storyline that never ceases to intrigue your sense of mystery. Always the romance and love of self in each character. Most importantly the family dynamics keeps you riveted to every word, page, chapter. Looking.forward to Jade!

Lilac was a master just like her father and Garrett was man enough to handle her. I love the Heirs series and was happy to see the inclusion of the history of those immortal cells. D Camille never disappoints with the way she infused Black history and pride into her stories of life and love. Can’t wait to read Jades story.

Another wonderful book
D Camille is one of my favorite authors so it's always a joy when she comes out with a book. I love The Heirs it's nice to see how they have grown. Lilac wanted a regular guy and she met Garrett. The minute Garrett notice Lilac he knew she was the one for him. I enjoy this story very much and I look forward to reading Jade story. As always it's was an absolute pleasure reading Garrett and Lilac's story.

Entertainingly Informative
Ms D never fails to bring it. I have been reading this series from it’s conception. I recognize the family drama and I am always amazed at the currency and relevancy of the plot ... I am grateful that in a pandemic I can find escape in true black love. Keep writing and I will read.

Wow! Those Heirs
I enjoy reading about these young whipper snappers as the elders say for my generation. I love the messages I get when I read about The Diamonds and The Heirs. I love the community, the support and the love the have for one another and for new comers to the family. Great Read! ReneeG 👍

You never cease to amaze me. This story was AWESOME! This felt like I was reading Sean and Lily all over again with a little twist. Definitely love reading your books because you always teach me something new. Can't wait for the next read!

I loved every minute...
I loved every minute of Lilac and Garrett 's story. As always I loved getting reacquainted with the rest of family and extended family. Sean reminded is that he is a SAVAGE! I can't wait to read Jade's book. I totally recommend this bbook.

Yes!!
I just feel like I'm living in these books by D.Camille with all the hidden gems that Sparks within you from the universe. Talented author she is and this is another great read. The pages flows because she captures your mind to flow through not wanting the book to end.

I can't wait for the next two in the series
I really enjoyed this book. It was well thought out and I enjoyed every minute of it. Reading the other books in this series helped, but that is part of the reason I enjoyed it so much. A true page turner.

Love it
This is a another Heirs book, that I enjoyed reading. Not a lot of action ,but enough to hold your interests. I love the whole Black Diamond series from start to the finsh. I may need to go back an read them all again. I love the history and knowledge gems as well.

Disappointing
I was so looking forward to the next story but this one just wasn't it for me. I love D.Camille and this series hopefully this next one will be better. I'm really looking forward to finally getting to story about Six. I guess the best will be last.

Excellent read
Excellent read, I loved the storyline and characters. Garrett and Lilac had an adventurous romance. Lilac found her soulmate. I enjoyed catching up with the Heirs and all the Diamonds protecting the culture. I look forward to reading Jade’s story Book seven.

Lilac longed for a regular dude….Garrett, as a tech entrepreneur, is hardly normal but sure about his love for Lilac. Great story line, and I love how old characters with new plots are weaved into the narrative.
