Katori Montgomery is plagued by pure exhaustion behind years of dealing with Riso Scott’s infidelities until she is left with nothing to give herself or their daughter Karisma. While she becomes fed up and ready to leave, Karisma isn’t. This forces Katori to stay in the relationship for the sake of saving her family. That is until Riso's ultimate betrayal is revealed. This unforgivable treachery truly breaks Katori's heart for the last time, but will she find the strength to finally leave?
This story was a little different. This is the first book I e read by this author and I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the writing style. I liked that it took place in my hometown. I'm glad Natori ended up with a better man. Riso was a very unsympathetic character and Fayla was crazy and delusional. I wish the story focused more on Natoris glow up and less of her chasing after her cheating baby daddy.
You ladies have done a great job as usual. I don't know who I hated the most Riso or Fayla. Katori definitely needed a wake up call...This is definitely a must read...It was great from the beginning to end..I highly recommend it..
This was an ok read. Too much of the book was about Rison cheating and Tori chasing him. Only 5% of the book was about her moving on and being happy. It was just too trifling. I wanted to know more about Kumar and Tori. It went really fast at the end and the end was the only happy part
GREAT STANDALONE This book was good from beginning to end. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Held my attention and I couldn't put it down. Well written and it flowed so smoothly. I really like the character development of Katori, she had to learn self-love. Riso, definitely wanted his came and to eat it. He got exactly what he deserved for all his shenanigans. So glad that Katori found happiness cause she deserved it. Highly recommend this standalone.Great job Shelli Marie and Summer Grant.
Katori allowed Riso to do her any kind of way! I just didnt understand how she just kepted giving him all these passes. she gave him her all! Like Girl, Know your worth! she deserved so much more and didn't realize it . Fayla, I just dont have the patience with her. She was messy!!! But, Im happy Riso ended up being miserable . He deserved it!! The way he played these chicks!
Im happy Katori had a happy ending. I want more on that story.
How many woman have stayed in situations because they felt their mates would change? Riso was a man that was allowed to have his came and icing also. If we are real I know some of us has dealt with our own Riso in some way or another, but when we're done we are done. Our lives become richer and better. Good story
This was not as good as I hoped it would be. It was interesting how trifling Reeso was and all of the drama he caused in his own relationship, as well as in others. Katori was a bit annoying however, and some of her own terrible decisions led her to the place she was in in her relationships. At any rate, it was just an okay read for me.
Very good read. I hated that Katori put up with so much heartache and abuse from Riso and was so glad when she found true happiness. I felt Fayla got what she deserved which was nothing because she needed to wake up and grow up and start living her life right for the sake of her kids.
Why Katori waited for so long to leave. Riso to me didn't love her. Fayla was so desperate to have him. Kumar the man. Love him and katori together.. A pretty good Standalone Novel. Love yall work
Well Riso I don’t feel sorry for you. You got everything you deserved minus Katori. You’ll regret the day you crossed her every time you see her happiness.
Entertaining yes, I just wished Katori would have used the complicated storyline to get a better life for her daughter. I am glad she finally had found happiness. Nice job : )
All I can say is wow! What makes a person think they can maintain two households and not get caught up. Then you throw multiple children into the mix…. Shameful!😆
Goodness Katori how many times were you gonna give Riso? I have broke up with him for you about 10 times halfway through the book.. Fayla came back to town and caused trouble for in y’all relationship and you still believed him! I’m glad that’s over
Enjoyed this come to the table moment/story and happy that it didn't take 2 or 3 books for the women to realize that she could do better. They story moved along well and had a bit of everything in it, but the best part was the life lesson of loving yourself as a woman and then doing better.
