Zora

Zora's husband isn't the man she thought he was. He's actually an embezzling, cheating, gambling addict, and he's offered her to his firm's senior partner to buy his way out of trouble. That should outrage her, and she should definitely refuse to go along with it. Except Sterling Ashe is temptation itself. With his commanding personality, contrasting with his tender side, he's nothing like Jim, and everything she's ever wanted.
Sterling
She's been his since he first laid eyes on her despite the ring on her finger from another man. When her jerk of a husband makes his terrible offer, Sterling seizes the chance to offer Zora a way out of the mess Jim created and a way into his life. Now that he has her, he's never letting her go. He'll do anything to keep her, including filling her womb with his baby.

Enjoyable read about a rather cunning lawyer who's obsessed with smart and feisty music teacher whose no-good accountant husband gave her to said lawyer to pay his astronomical debts! But as always payback is truly a b^tch in this OTT story.

I could not really get into the whole idea of this book. Why would you sleep with someone to help out your cheating husband you has bankrupted you?

And even then how could you stand the guy who went along with this kind of payback?

I would want nothing to do with either guy. She did nothing wrong why was it her place to clean up the mess? Is there no legal process for his surely illegal use of her signature?

I'm not sure what the what the deal was meant to be and is even stranger that she just went along with it with out asking for the details.

This has some good writing with the sex scenes but I just can't see how the feeling developed on either side of the new couple.
Why the hell was the husband trying to keep a relationship going with his wife? surely if you are ok with pimping your wife out you can recognise the relationship is done.

it had an epilogue which I like but this story was not for me.
