Little Guy is a journey of hope for our time created by blind author Emma in just two weeks in early 2020 before we had even heard of Covid 19 or imagined we would all be isolating.
In a series of 25 drawings and poems Little Guy moves from anxious and depressed, through hope and trust to a point where he is able to relate to the world and thrive again.
Little Guy journeys with us during the isolation of pandemic, during the loneliness inherent in our busy society and in during periods of grief, anxiety and depression which we all encounter through our lives.

This book comes at the perfect time... a time when many people are feeling lonely, anxious or isolated.
The story of a Little Guy can bring a bit of peace and hope and reminds us that we won’t be apart or isolated forever, and that one day, we will see our loved ones and special people again.
My favourite poems were the ones which included the cat.
