This second book in The Elite 3 series brings in Amiyah and her connection with Derek (DJ). A lot more action, a lot of mind reading, and more sexually charged references (all you get is a kiss though). You get the knowledge of vampire info, but not really anything else about it. So many things in this book didn’t add up for me, beginning with the holes in everyone’s stories and the characters haveno desire to tease them out. If these books were not so short, I would not read them. Book left on a bit of a cliff hanger, and not sure when the third book will be coming out.

Wasn't sure I would like Derek, after the last story; but he grew on me. There was so much happening in this read. I am still dizzy trying to digest it all! So many unanswered questions! Need the next book asap! 👍👍👍

I really enjoyed the next installment in this series. Was really unsure whether Derek could win me over but he did and I liked the new character. Lots going on, it's definitely a page turner. Can't wait for the next book in the series!
