Goodbye Duet #1

Goodbye Summer

Rate this book
No strings attached was the unspoken game that was being played and what more could I expect with only two nights in town.

A weekend away from home to celebrate my birthday in Myrtle Beach, that’s where it all started. That and drawing a stranger in a dive bar. My need for him grew strong with every stroke of the pencil against the page of my sketchbook. Then when his lips touched mine, it made me want to do more than mark a blank page with graphite.

This weekend might have started with a sketch, but it was going to end with goodbye taillights.

Short and sweet! Brought back memories of being a bit wild and carefree and young love at the beach! Quick little summer romance.

*I got a copy from the author for an honest review.

Goodbye Summer is part 1 of a novella duet, with part 2 to be releasing shortly hereafter.

If you’ve read this author before, rest assured, she’s got you. This book has all the steaminess you could want within a well thought out story. It’s a fun and light read with an insta-connect attraction between two really likable characters you can’t help but root for. It’s the perfect weekend romance. But what I loved the most was actually a concept within the book of leaving before you’re left, because I think it’s such a relatable fear, and I look forward to how the author handles the aftermath in the next book.

I got this book with stuff your kindle day

Insta love, Age gap, and virginity troupe, not really my jam, but being a short story this went quick.

Will probably read the next book anyways to get the ending, pretty much a cliff hangar

Goodbye Summer is the first part of the Goodbye Duet with Goodbye Never releasing shortly after. When Tabitha decides to go away with her friends to celebrate her birthday she doesn’t realize that a chance meeting with a handsome stranger will change the course of her life. This is a quick fun read with equal parts sweet and steamy. And the fact that the second book is out one week later is a huge plus. I hate waiting. 😂

Hot, Summer Read

This book was short, Hot and a little bit romantic. At first I thought Drew was pushing himself onto innocent Tabitha but as the chapter's moved forward I was happy to see her take the lead while Drew remained a gentleman.

Even though Goodbye Summer was short, I loved the pace and can't wait to see what happens in Goodbye Never.

Pleasantly surprised. A nice amount of romance although if you are planning a one and done you probably shouldn't let your heart be involved. Also, protection is key and I would have appreciated that being written in versus being thrown to the wind. Looking forward to book 2.

Holy ish

Not only was I excited for this little duet, but after starting it, my excitement increased because of the main character. Y’all also need to go into this as blind as I was but holy ish. This is a really quick read, but don’t let that fool you because it. Is. Gooooood. 🔥

A lot packed into a short story. A long weekend leads to more when Tabitha meets Drew during her 21st birthday celebrations. The first of this Goodbye duet. Can’t wait to read part 2!!
