The recording went on, “You have met Page, she has accepted you as the Chosen One, you have had that first special kiss, and she has deemed you to be trustworthy. She has found herself to have no need to feel any reserve or modesty in your presence, and you have delivered her to a location of safety and comfort. These were the conditions for the first trigger, and when they were completed, her ‘programming’ triggered her to open the first instructions, which you are reading and listening to now. By ‘her programming’, I do not mean that Page is a robot or anything of that sort. Page has certain operant conditioning and vaguely remembered instructions that will kick in at certain points as you get to know each other. Here is what you need to know at this point: I am the ‘Old Page’; she is the ‘New Page’.
I'm not entirely sure what it is I just read or who the target audience was. It took me a while to actually finish this, but I also couldn't seem to stop.
I did appreciate that the book wasn't exploitative of its female characters. But the plot was mostly "A man is a halfway decent individual, which causes five women to fall in love with him... and then he is so good at the sex that it's transcendent." Nothing actually happens except for lots of sex and the female characters getting ridiculously demeaning pet names, and then at the end, our erstwhile hero gets everything he could ever want.
I also didn't love that the girls make it very clear to our erstwhile hero that they are not into each other. I kind of get annoyed with that in reverse harem stories, too.
I'm not sure why I actually finished this. It was genuinely not like anything I've ever read before, and I've been having such a hard time reading anything lately thanks to the pandemic. I'm not sure I'll read the sequels, and I can't recommend this, but it did hit the sweet spot for crackalicious fun.
Fantastical sexy romp through a polygamous relationship. One man - many wives is too much for me to even imagine. I like the 'magic-ness' of the story, further explanation is needed though, to fully understand. *I read Tom's story before reading Robby's* I look forward to reading more adventures
Very enjoyable book. I enjoyed reading about Robby and his time at the resort and how "Starting a New Paige" worked out for him. It was a very "stimulating" read and I look forward to more by Marilyn Foxworthy
She makes you want to be them. The story was amazing I wish they were real. I was waiting for this series to start I wanted to know how it all started. You need to buy this series
Have just finished all four books and will read some of the others that Marilyn has written that have some of the same characters that pertain to these four. A few editing mistakes but still really liked these books.
I was a bit perplexed with this novel. It had some very hot, sensual chapters early on, but it never really hooked me, until the curve ball at the end. Certainly explained a great deal. Just ok for me, I guess.
It was fun to read Ms Foxworthy’s stories, after having read the hotwife/cuckold stories. It’s light and happy, throw in some mystery. Only problem I had with the story, keeping the characters straight with their new names
This book was a lot of fun to read. (I'm working on making my 20 words here) It may not be for everyone, but if you are not afraid of "erotica" you will get a kick out of it. Good luck to you.
