I've been dying for this book and honestly the satisfaction I have right now is unreal.
AJ Everheart has created a world so similar to our own but also so different that it is fascinating to see. The characters whilst facing the unthinkable are so relatable and their actions and relationships feel real and are easy to root for.
We all want to believe that we would survive the zombie apocalypse and after reading these books, I think I've learned enough to stand a chance!

so i enjoyed this one a tiny bit more than book 1 - Tag. It surprisingly doesn't follow the POV of our first book main characters but follows Donovan and Anna.
the story was okay. it focused more on the types of groups you get in an apocalyptic setting. i also didn't know that there was going to be a third book so this does end on a HFN/cliffhanger. i'm unsure if I'll continue this series but we'll see... the covers are just so gorgeous that it instantly pulls me in

The second story in this series focuses on Donovan and Anna. Hide and Seek was a lovely read one of my favourite parts was between Mia and Lieutenant Kelp although I do like the scenes with Donovan and Luke too they are sweet especially given what they’re going through.
Donovan is looking after Anna’s son who won’t leave his side all while trying to find Anna and bring her to the base and Anna is out there trying to get to her son but ends up in a place that isn’t what it seems.
Will Donovan find Anna? Will Anna get back to her son? Will the mutating zombies or the Wharf Rats get to them first? You’ll need to read it to find out.
