BOOK 2
I really did enjoy the second book.. it's less about the outbreak and more about the different gangs and survival groups. And what the apocalypse has turned people into.
It follows Anna and Donavon but Alex and Mia are still heavily focused in the book. The plot just keeps getting better and better! Book two does end on a huge cliff hanger and there is no date for book three yet, so I will eagerly stalk the author as I am desperate to find out what happens next on all counts.
Reading this zombie with a side of romance has been so thrilling for me. The books have been a great read - I'm just gutted I don't know if or when book three will be out.

I've been dying for this book and honestly the satisfaction I have right now is unreal.
AJ Everheart has created a world so similar to our own but also so different that it is fascinating to see. The characters whilst facing the unthinkable are so relatable and their actions and relationships feel real and are easy to root for.
We all want to believe that we would survive the zombie apocalypse and after reading these books, I think I've learned enough to stand a chance!

The second story in this series focuses on Donovan and Anna. Hide and Seek was a lovely read one of my favourite parts was between Mia and Lieutenant Kelp although I do like the scenes with Donovan and Luke too they are sweet especially given what they’re going through.
Donovan is looking after Anna’s son who won’t leave his side all while trying to find Anna and bring her to the base and Anna is out there trying to get to her son but ends up in a place that isn’t what it seems.
Will Donovan find Anna? Will Anna get back to her son? Will the mutating zombies or the Wharf Rats get to them first? You’ll need to read it to find out.
