Two exploding cars. Three assassination attempts. Armed gunmen shooting up a local hospital. One disappearing gun with a politician’s fingerprints on it. All of that adds up to one whopping big mystery, and Tessa Newbridge is caught in the middle. Is it possible all these clues point to corruption at the highest level of the LAPD?
Just when she thinks things can’t get any worse, they do. When the bullets stop flying and the world stops exploding around her ears, the peace and quiet that follows could be worse than any disaster. Why does everyone keep pretending none of this ever happened? Why is there no record of the attacks on any Police channel? The fulfillment of Tessa’s dream of becoming a fully qualified Police officer could mean the end of everything she knows and the beginning of something much, much worse.
With the Yakuza hot on their trail, Matt and Tessa are on the run. Again.
They make it home, regroup, and go back to the station where everyone is acting like nothing happened the last time they were there.
The Captain at the Academy is acting like nothing happened. The recruiter is acting like nothing happened. Everything is sunshine and rainbows as Graduation Day arrives.
And she still hasn't found Leo.....
Tessa meets Katie, her new partner.
Tattoo Parlor action (not THAT kind of action)...
Shots fired!!!..

I received a free copy of this book from the author, and I am giving you my honest review.
This Story was extremely short like a couple chapters. I was given this book in exchange for a review. The storyline was interesting but it seem like I was coming in the middle of a longer story. It ended so abruptly that I just sat there staring at the last page. I am glad I did not buy this book because it was Not a book, but a long blub to a book
The story has good premise but it was way too short. Tessa is interesting. I wish there was just more! I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
