Great opening BUT…….

This was a novel of failed promises. The opening was a bit slow, and there were some major consistency problems that keep coming back the entire novel.

We open with incredible action and adventure that is incredible and totally unique. I couldn’t put it down. It was a wicked ride and they took us along for the ride. But then! That’s when the trouble starts
SPOILERS

Once AGAIN the team has been left out in the cold and they are all upset and have no plans. For God’s sake, as often as they get disowned, they should be used to it and have contingencies for it. Instead they act like it’s their first time.

The action portion of the end was wonderful and well done, I had a different ending in mind but this worked well. But please stop this owned - disowned - owned cycle, sick of it!

Oh my goodness

What a final chapter should be. Intense from beginning to end.... jut it doesn’t end here. Drake and the team have survived, for once all intact thank goodness, all culmination in one final showdown. But is it final? Keep looking, you just might find then at your back protecting the unprotected and the vulnerable.

This is a great series

I have just read all 25 ( so far) in this series and it’s the best series I have ever read. Most get kinda bogged down with the same stuff, but not this one. I’m actually very worried about the crew and hope it works out for them. Thank you Mr Leadbeater for a grand month of reading and ignoring my housework!

This was exactly what Frames team needed. Not only getting out of the Devils trap but getting the revenge on the Blood King and the Devil. They both went down and with that also the regrouping of the team. A little separation would be a good thing till the dust settles !!!! Can't for the next chapter!!!! 10 stars plus!!! Thanks Carl Clause

Did not disappoint

Was not too sure when I read the blurb for this and thought it might to a bit too much Die Hard -but I was wrong you are immediately drawn into the plot and the individual perils each character faces. The next book cannot come quick enough

Brilliant Series

Devils Junction (Matt Drake 25) by David Leadbeater. After their last “adventure” all the Strike Forces are disbanded. Strike Force One realise they are alone with many enemies. They come up with a plan to eliminate the worse two.

Wow!

The Devil’s Junction ending eclipsed everything in all of the previous Matt Drake novels for satisfaction and pizzazz. It was spectacular.

Devil's Junction - a review by Rosemary Kenny

The showdown of all showdowns changes the former SPEAR Team's future well-being and continued survival at the end of Devil's Junction, Book 25 in David Leadbeater's brilliant Matt Drake series.

Matt, Alicia, Dahl, Kenzie, Mai, Cam and Shawnasee have to fight against the merciless savagery of the well-named Devil, who's declared a take-no-prisoners vendetta against the Team that destroyed his former nightmarish island stronghold.
