But Matt knows a thing or two about disappearing . . .
Matt Armstrong is a man of mystery. Ex-Special Forces, he has spent the last 7 years living almost as a nomad .... few months here, a few months there ... and always under an assumed name.
Matt receives a message stating that his sister has been killed. When he returns home, his mother doesn't want to speak of her only daughter and his older brother wants him to hunt down the killer. Because of her chosen profession, the police don't seem too interested in investigating.
Matt doesn't find any clues, no leads, evidently there was no DNA to speak of, no fingerprints...and no real motive except for her lifestyle. One of her clients perhaps? Or a random killing?
He's bewildered until he accidentally comes across a clue .. something that will lead him in a totally different direction. Helped by an old girlfriend, the two of them follow a trail that leads to nowhere ... until an anonymous tip is thrown his way.
Matt is a tormented soul and vows to find the man...or men.. behind the killing of his sister.
This is a well written crime fiction with suspense starting on the very first page and holding steady until the very last. The twists and turns will leave a sensation in the reader's chest that makes you wonder how your heart can beat so fast and so hard, yet remain intact. Skillfully drawn characters and their actions within these pages will lead to nail-biting and forgetting to breathe.
