I've been crushing on my coworker for months. And now he’s moving… across the country. I’ve got one shot to make my move. We’re all holed up in this amazing house upstate and tonight I’m going to sneak into his room and finally Make. Something. Happen.
So I go for it. I climb into Luke’s bed and the kissing is so much better than I imagined. Why did we wait so long to feel this? I moan his name and Bam! He jumps out of bed. WTF? It isn’t Luke. It’s his twin, Noah. I don’t even like Noah. And he certainly doesn’t like me.
This will NEVER happen again... until the next day against the barn door. Why can’t I stop seeing him? It will never work. We're complete opposites. Enemies with benefits is a thing, right?

Rebecca Brooks lives in New York City in an apartment filled with books. She received a PhD in English but decided it was more fun to write books than write about them. She has backpacked alone through India and Brazil, traveled by cargo boat down the Amazon River, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, explored ice caves in Peru, trekked to the source of the Ganges, and sunbathed in Burma, but she always likes coming home to a cold beer and her hot husband in the Bronx.
I’m a little conflicted on this one to be honest because part of me thinks that it was super quick and fun and the other part of me just wishes there was more depth.
I read this in one sitting and I always like when books are very readable, but I wanted more substance to the characters. I feel like there was a lot of telling in this book rather than showing, which left me not really understanding or connecting with either the hero or heroine. I think if there was a bit more set up in the beginning with more interactions between the characters I would’ve enjoyed it a little more. I wanted more banter and more conversations so I didn’t just have to accept that this was how things were.
Overall, this was super quick and I feel like I don’t see this eccentric premise super often so if it intrigues you then you should pick it up.

I love a hate to love but this was just eh to me. I felt it wasn't enough of a build and development for the relationship. Banter was enjoyable at parts but the characters were flat for me. I wanted more of them before and outside of their dynamic.

Amanda has been crushing on her coworker, Luke, for quite some time. But in six weeks Luke is going to move from New York to LA with his twin. If Amanda wants a shot with him, she’ll have to take it while on a weekend getaway with Luke and some others. But when Amanda sneaks into what she thinks is Luke’s room she finds herself in bed with Luke’s twin, Noah. Noah couldn’t be more different from his charming brother; he and Amanda are like oil and water. But Amanda’s mistake cracks something open in their antagonistic relationship and suddenly neither Amanda nor Noah can resist the pull between them. But Noah is leaving in six weeks and the two of them don’t even like each other, so nothing can happen…right?
Wrong Bed, Right Brother is a sexy and fun good time. Enemies-to-lovers isn’t my favorite trope but in this case it works oh-so-well. Amanda and Noah have seriously hot chemistry and I loved watching the sparks fly as their mutual attraction opened the door to something much deeper.
One of my favorite things about this story was watching Amanda realize how what she thought she wanted wasn’t what she really needed. Luke is a delightful fantasy: a charmer and a flirt who has a natural ease about him. He gets away with being self-centered because he’s hot and personable. Noah, by contrast, is quieter, organized, and has a more rigid personality. But there’s so much more beneath the surface. He and Amanda click from the start and the sparks that fly are fantastic to watch. But what made me really fall for Wrong Bed, Right Brother were the quieter moments, the conversations where Amanda and Noah realize that even though they’re so different they complement each other perfectly.
But just because they’re well suited doesn’t mean things are easy for Amanda and Noah. Amanda has had bad luck with men and her mother has pounded it into her head that she can’t trust them. And Noah fears that he’s Amanda’s second choice. There’s also added tension from Luke and the fact that Noah is scheduled to move across the country. A happily ever after requires risk in this story: risking your heart, risking trusting someone, depending on them. I was here for it from beginning to end. All the ups and downs were worth it because the romance just worked for me. In Wrong Bed, Right Brother Rebecca Brooks has delivered a fast-paced, wonderfully addictive, sexy as hell romance that I can’t wait to revisit.

This is the last book in this series.. This is Amandas story the last of the breakfast bunch. Amanda has been in love with her coworker Luke for years and now that he is leaving she decides to throw caution to the wind and give in. She jumps in bed with him and starts kissing and come to find out it is his twin brother Noah whom she dislikes. As this is never supposed to happen again she is just going to ignore until the next day. I am glad that she has someone to love but I always dislike sibling relationship, not that she had one with Luke, but he was the one that she liked for years..so anyway that bugs me..

Rebecca Brooks has written another tropey, steamy romance, this one reminiscent of the things I loved about the first in the series. That one plays on the roommate and best-friend's older sibling tropes, but this is a slightly more complicated setup. What happens when you accidentally make out with the wrong guy in the dark of night? And he's your crush/coworker's twin brother? And you've disliked each other for years? And the brothers are moving across the country in a month? A. Mess. The physical aspect of Amanda and Noah's relationship picks up quickly, but their emotional connection is a little uneven. This is one of those books where I think some readers won't quite buy their HEA given the short term nature of their relationship and a little more telling than showing on the part of the author. However, I've liked this series and I like the author's writing style, so I just sailed on by the nitpicks. If you like quick tropey reads, this is worth your time.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher for review.
Middle of the road. The beginning was a tad more grabbing then the middle and end. Luke was a HUGE jerk and annoyed me. Noah was rather wishy-washy about what he wanted, though I did like him. Amanda has solid friends who gave her good advice and she actually listened to it, so kudos to her.
Decent contemporary romance with lots of safe steaminess and bad language, so not for those who prefer clean romances.
3, not a bad read just didn’t do a whole lot for me, stars.
****Thank you to Entangled Publishing for my Advanced Readers Copy*** Right now, at the time of finishing Wrong Bed, Right Brother-it is sitting a 4 star rating from me.
This isn't a bad book and I really only have two negatives. You know sometimes when you're reading a book and you realize you've spent a hell of a lot of time in the characters heads rather than things happening and the story unfolding with plot? That's how this felt. There were times where I internally screamed DO SOMETHING rather than sit here and have 101 thoughts about _____! My second is that, as adults, certain dramatics I just can't get down with!
Amanda has always had a thing for this guy Luke, who has a twin brother named Noah. Noah and Amanda can't stand one another. There is this weekend getaway where there is a group of them staying together somewhere and she musters up the courage to sneak into Luke's room and kiss him UNBEKNOWNST TO HER that the brothers switched rooms for the night. She sneaks in. things are getting hot and heavy. she moans LUKE and BAM! make out session is over because its NOAH!
This scene happens at the beginning of the book and really sets the tone and furthers the rest of the plot from there because within these few moments these two people who have historically not cared for one another are realizing that there is definite physical attraction. So for a while, that's what it is. Then the more and more time they spend together they begin to realize the other person isn't as bad as they'd always thought. Noah and Luke have these plans to move to LA in 6 weeks so that is always looming in the background and the fact that Amanda and Luke have always been close friends, and she flirted with him all the time so Noah is insecure about, "am I second best?" type deal. This is a VERY character driven story. stuff happens and stuff doesn't happen. We see these two people figuring out these new emotions and what to do with these new feelings, this huge secret that they're keeping from Luke, the brother and best friend and then once he finds out-the what now? I'd never read a story like this before so initially I didn't get it. Once Amanda realizes she's starting to see Noah differently, I was like..right..because you made out with him thinking he was Luke? It didn't sit well with me but the further into it I got, I was hooked. Its a messy situation I wanted to stick around for to see what was going to happen!
The start of this book was great, when it was focused on the "I don't like you but I can't keep my hands off you" angst. The chemistry was intense and felt real, and Amanda having been interested (and very obviously so) in Noah's brother before made it feel even more forbidden.
The second half or so was less absorbing and less well-done. The step from lust to love was a bit sudden, and the drama about Noah relocating ended up feeling a bit tedious. It was annoying, because I was really interested in Noah's worries about which direction to take his career and his weighing of security and love for his job. That was interesting and felt very of today. But then in the end it was all about do I stay for her or not. Also, I didn't buy Noah's brother abrupt about-face that just removed the remaining barrier.
I am very picky about my contemporary romances, and this was a good one. Well written, character motivations that actually make sense, TONS of chemistry between the leads and hot schmexy times.
I love that Amanda has a bleach blond pixie cut and wears Docs, and I also love that she finished a run purely so she could continue leching over Noah’s fine ass.
They just fancy each other SO MUCH. Love it.
I’d say it’s a 3.75 — her “trauma” was kind of phoned in and quite frankly it was unnecessary to the plot in such a short book. But as a quick easy hot read, this was great.
In this book Amanda knows twins Luke and Noah. Luke is her crush who strings her along and Noah her enemy who can't stand her puppy dog act around his brother.
As her crush on Luke looks set to have to end as he's going to be moving to work away, she decides to make a bold move, jump into bed and seduce him before he leaves!
However, she gets the wrong brother and Noah who she couldn't stand is as shocked as she is at the situation they find themselves in.
However, passion ensues and their hate relationship becomes about enemies with benefits maybe it can become love?
But of course, what about Luke, and Noah was supposed to be moving away with him too!
From the start I was hooked Amanda was very infatuated with Luke but Noah and her worked amazing as a couple the hate to love storyline and the sneaking around was fun to read about top as it kept you wondering and hoping their relationship would survive despite judgement they'd face from others and the moving situation. It was fiery full of passion, but also left me still wanting more I wish there was a sequel to see how their lives turned out in the following years!
Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!
I have never read a book by Rebecca Brooks before but I am extremely glad that I did!
What intrigued me about the book at first is the title "wrong bed, right brother" and I was curious how this story was going to play out.
You are start out with Amanda and her friends are on vacation in the Hudson Valley. She starts her inner monologue talking about how she is in love with Luke and that since he is about to move she needs to make her move immediately or she will lose her chance. In comes his twin brother Noah, who you learn very early on Amanda doesn't like (and of course he doesn't like her).
Later that night she sneaks into what she thought was Luke's bedroom, starts kissing him and getting undressed only to find it was actually his twin brother Noah. The downfall also is that she was enjoying it and that sparks were flying long before she knew which twin it actually was.
The tension between these two kept me on the edge of my seat for this rollercoaster of a ride of emotions. You get inner monologue from Amanda and from Noah, from both of their perspectives of the whole encounter.
You realize they both love each other but have reasons as to why they won't share it with each other. You also start realizing that Luke is catching on but they are oblivious to the signs they are putting out.
This story was so amazing that I just could not put it down. I had to devour this book as quickly as possible. It has a lot of steamy romance, a lot of drama, and a very nice ending that wraps everything in a nice bow.
Don't pass up picking this book up and reading it. From the first chapter you will be absolutely hooked!!
Ah, I don't know. I'm on the fence on this one, while I enjoyed parts of this story more than the previous in the series, it still didn't grab me the way her other books have done in the past. I did like the premise I will say that! I had a fun love/hate thing going on with Noah. I cringed and laughed at the same time between the snarky banter between Amanda and Noah. Noah didn't like Amanda and Amanda didn't like Noah. You get that loud and clear. Amanda has been crushing on Luke her co worker for a long time and Noah is his twin brother. Luke is a long time friend and he has his whole flirty thing down pat with Amanda. When the opportunity presents itself and she's egged on my her friends to finally make a move with Luke, she decides to take her chance. How she ends up, where she ends up is priceless. Thus begins the tale of how two people who can't stand to breathe the same air as each other begin a relationship, while keep Luke in the dark on it. It is full of steam which Rebecca nails every time in her books. From the beginning of the story you know that there's an end point for Luke and Noah, what you don't know and what you need to read is what happens along the way, the relationship between twins and does that initial end ever come about? And where exactly does Amanda fit into the picture, or doesn't she? You'll have to read it to find out. 3.5 stars
arc from Entangled and NetGalley for an honest review.
I was delightfully surprised this was more than the typical “wrong brother” type of book. It had everything - great character development and depth, pacing, and I didn’t expect it to be so emotional. In the beginning I wasn’t sure about Amanda, but then Noah’s hot (sweaty) and cold alpha hooked me. Amanda eventually grew on me after she (quickly) got over the other brother and by the end I was emotionally drawn into her dilemma.
I didn’t love the friends (previous books) or their advice, but appreciated Amanda’s handling of the situation. There were long inner monologues that I found myself skimming. The explicit sex initially caught me off guard. I also didn’t feel like Luke really redeemed himself in the end.
BUT after reading it in a day, I would recommend this book. I felt like the characters both grew and there was a depth of emotion that sets their story apart from others.

I almost feel like the Accidental Love Series is at an end. So sad, because I liked these couples.
Amanda Perkins has been not so secretly pining for Luke Miller. However, Luke is moving to LA in 6 weeks with his twin brother Noah. Knowing that her time is almost up to make her move on Luke, she decides to sneak into his room, or at least the place where she thinks was his.
Noah Miller wasn’t expecting to have a beautiful woman in his bed until she said his twin brother's name. He also wasn’t planning to start to develop feelings and realizing that maybe he hasn’t always hated her. Noah also knows that, like his brother, he is leaving in 6 weeks, and whatever this is will either destroy or leave him more heartbroken than before.
I liked this book, but I will say that I was a little disappointed with how quickly it felt. Yes, I may have read this in one day, but I wanted more depth to Amanda and Noah. They had a touch of hate to love that I wished was a little more, but otherwise, this book was cute. I LOVED the ending. I honestly don’t know if I would have run a whole marathon. My shin splints would have laughed at me 5 minutes in!
Loved this story, had so many funny moments, and the characters were really likable. The enemies to lovers angle was nice I just wished we had more backstory. I would love to know why they don't like each other, why does Noah have a big problem with Amanda that makes him so annoyed when she's around. Also more Luke, the whole point was that she liked him but ended up falling for his brother Noah. We never really got to know who Luke was as a person. Overall the romance was good, enjoyable story, and it made me want to pick up the previous books in the series.
ARC provided by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Amanda and Noah don't like one another. And, that's fine, as Amanda is interested in his brother Luke.
Or is she?
Well, both of them get the surprise of their lives when it's not Luke in the room she sneaks into for a little "after work" playtime.
I loved the premise of this one. I loved the idea of the obsession with the one brother blinding Amanda to Noah and the attraction that she had for him.
Unfortunately, I stopped buying in to this one in the middle. I thought there was too much focus on how much they didn't
Wrong Bed, Right Brother by Rebecca Brooks a five-star read that can do no wrong. This is number four in the Accidental Love series, but they can all be read as standalone as they each focus on different couples. Amanda is such a crazy character, she really does have a massive crush on her co-worker and its driving her crazy to the point that she does something super crazy for her, but when your in that level of crush you do don’t you. But as we all know a crush isn’t real, and true chemistry can blow that away, just like there is a fine line between love and hate. I must say a special mention to Noah’s running pants, as they sound like they need worshiping. This was a great story and one that you would be sorry to miss, there is crazy chemistry and just some funny sweet moments that will surprise you.
Amanda has a crush on her coworker Luke. Luke is moving to another state soon and Amanda wants to make a move before it's too late. She ends up in bed with the wrong twin brother, Noah. Amanda and Noah barely tolerate each other so how can they keep hooking up? A funny, don't take it seriously read.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.
Some super cute smut right here! I love that it was just the right amount of swampland adorable. A hate-to-love story that I simply found delightful.
Amanda has a crush on Luke, and thinks this weekend getaway will be the weekend he finally reciprocates. Who cares that it's a work retreat and the team and his brother are there? She is finally taking things into her own hands. She sneaks into Luke's room and things start getting hot and heavy. She whispers Luke's name and he flies outta that bed like his ass is on fire. Tada! Not Luke... his twin brother, Noah (who absolutely hates her).
They play it off like nothing happened but it's all they can think about for the rest of the weekend. They finally decide to see how this plays out and it gets super steamy. He and Luke are moving to L.A. in 6 weeks so there won't be any strings or hard feelings, right? 😏
I really enjoyed this one and I think I'll be going back to read the first books in this series. This can be read as a standalone or as part of the series.
Pretty sure Noah appreciates it when his woman catches him off guard, “you know plenty of things my mouth is capable of,” she teased and was pleased to see she could disarm him so easily—even if she was a sweaty mess..." I liked this book, I like Noah.
It was a light and fun read I went through in a day. I loved the concept of the story and how it was developed but I didn't feel much of a chemistry between the characters. Still it was an enjoyable fast read.
Was I in a reading slump? Yes. Did I read a book called Wrong Bed, Right Brother in order to break said reading slump? Yes. Do you know everything you need to know based on this cover and its title? Yes. Is my reading slump over? YES. Do I recommend this book? Nah.
This was such a fun story to lose myself in for a weekend. It was a quick, fun read that left me with a smile on my face. Overall, it was remarkable it followed the formula and gave me exactly what I expect when I read a hate to love you type romance novel. It's a tried and true story and I think fans of romance will enjoy it.
Amanda has always had a crush on her friend Luke and she can't stand his identical twin Noah, both of whom are moving to LA in 6 weeks. So she decides while they are away on a weekend retreat to make a move and crawl into bed and kiss him as her hail Mary pass. But the boys switched rooms and she kisses Noah instead and things catch fire quickly until she moans Luke's name and that wakes Noah right up and he flies out of bed like he's been tasered. Noah is fresh out of a long term relationship and Amanda's never had one, so they think naughty fun, why not, until the feels catch up with them. This was all the mistaken identity, enemies to lovers, can't keep their hands to themselves fun I could have hoped for.
Wrong Bed, Right Brother by Rebecca Brooks is the 4th book in the Accidental Love romance series, and my first book by this author. Amanda has had a crush on her co-worker Luke for years. Luke is planning on movie to California with his twin brother Noah. Amanda decides to slip into Luke's bed, unfortunately Noah and Luke had stitched rooms, so she was kissing Noah, who she hates. I found this book to be a cute, steamy, and fun romance which I really enjoyed. I will be reading more books by this author. I highly recommend this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This book grabbed me from the get go. It was a simple story, but had good banter and definitely steamy scenes. There was a built in end date set for the two even with their mistaken beginning of a relationship because of the move for Noah and his brother Luke. But it was good to see that Noah was able to see past the way he’d felt about Amanda pretty quickly. You could see the change in his mind and his own revelations about how things he’d assumed were negative or her being somewhat rude in the past actually weren’t, and had a more realistic, easily understandable reason. Reasons that he grew to love about her in a way. I have to say the way that Amanda decided to go after Noah at the half-marathon was incredible. I had never been to one before, only had an idea about them from tv or movies, but after going to watch my sister run a half-marathon last October, it made what happened in that scene really come alive for me in the book. Another thing I really liked was how Amanda realized when she was sitting and talking about her issues with Noah at friend get-togethers, that she had done similar for them, and that how they were reacting to her was just like the way she had also tried to help them. I think it was helpful for her to see outside the situation in a way, using her own past experiences.
Wrong Bed, Right Brother by Rebecca Brooks was a quick and fun enemies to lovers read. Amanda has always crushed on Luke and decides to make her move. Imagine her surprise when she realizes it is not Luke she makes her move on but his twin, Noah. These two do not like each other and yet they felt a spark when they kissed. Can they figure out what they share before it is too late? A fun and charming read.
I love that the premise for all of these books is one person accidentally getting into the "wrong" bed with the person who ends up being exactly right for them. It sounds like it shouldn't, but it totally works!
Wrong Bed, Right Brother was a cute and fun read, and I really liked Noah and Amanda. Their enemies to lovers vibes were fun--we didn't get a ton of explanation for why they didn't like each other for the first three years, beyond each felt their relationship with Luke (Noah's twin and Amanda's coworker bestie/crush) was threatened by the other, but once they got over the not liking each other thing? Break out the fans, because these two were hot together!
A lot of this story was told inside the main characters' heads--I didn't mind at all, though, because Ms Brooks laced their thoughts with all kinds of snark that made me LOL more than once. There might even have been some reading out loud of funny bits to my 23-year-old while he drove to get takeout--I'm sure he 100% appreciated it; how could he not? ;)
I was less than impressed with Luke's character throughout, though--he was supposed to be Amanda's friend, and he seemed to get more pleasure out of stringing her along (her crush on him was not particularly subtle, it's true) than of being an actual friend to her, and the things he says to both of them when he discovers their secret were hurtful. i get that he was hurt by the secrecy, but way to make it all about you, dude! He comes around in the end, but geesh...
I have to give Amanda props for her grand gesture--it's definitely not one that I could do, but more power to her. I'm a bit bummed that he didn't have to do more to bring about their reconciliation--he was just as much at fault as she was, there--but watching him help her succeed at...that thing she was doing while declaring her love (nope, I'm not going to tell you what it was! Read it yourself and see) was a lot of fun.
Somehow I missed book 3 of the series (Wrong Bed, Right Man), so I guess I know what the next book on my TBR is going to be... :)
Rating: 4 stars / A-
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Amanda has been in love with her co-worker for three years. He acts like he’s interested, but never takes it further. Now he’s planning to move to California with his twin brother Noah, and she needs to make her move before he leaves in a few weeks. A bunch of their friends rent a cottage for the weekend as an end of summer celebration. Amanda makes the decision to go into Luke’s room that night and tell him how she feels. As she slips into his room and bed, Amanda didn’t imagine the kissing would be this good. Everything she’s feeling is amazing, until she calls out his name, and he jumps out of the bed so fast Amanda is stunned. When he turns on the light in the room, it turns out she’s been in bed with Noah! Huh, she was really turned on with Noah, and Amanda is having a hard time adjusting to this thought. Agreeing to never talk about this again, she goes back to her room.
While they are having lunch the next day at a restaurant that sits in a farm, it happens again. Except this time Noah approaches her and they make out in the back of the barn. What is going on! They can’t stand each other!
Noah, is an extremely organized individual that plans everything. He coaches people training for marathons and those that are rehabilitating from an injury. The last few days his mind has been on the sexy Amanda, and keeps reminding himself that he can’t stand, but for some reason is drawn to her. Occasionally when he trains by the office where his brother works, he stops by and they go for a beer. However, when he sees Amanda, all he wants is to take her into a conference room and have his way with her. As soon as she gets up, he follows her and follows thru on it. It seems they can’t get enough of each other.
Now they are seeing each other on the sly, neither one of them wanting Luke to know. As weeks go by and the time for his move to California approaches, Amanda realizes she’s fallen in love with Noah. What’s going to happen after he leaves, will everything fall apart, what if she tells him her feelings have changed. Will he still leave or maybe stay in New York.
This is the first book I’ve read in this series. I definitely plan on reading the rest! Excellent story!
What a cute, fun book! Even though I am not a fan of steamy romance novels, I actually enjoyed reading this book.
Amanda and Noah are on fire together. When you read a romance novel, you expect it to get steamy at times, and this book delivers well on that aspect. But, even apart those scenes, Amanda and Noah are very adorable as a couple. They have their insecurities, and are physically attracted to each other. So, it was interesting to see how they handled moving on to the next step.
Moreover, I have not read any of the previous books in the series. Hence I was skeptic if I would follow the characters and the plot. Even though there is some minor references given, this was perfect to read as a standalone novel too. On a side note, I love running, and NYC is one of my favorite places in the world. Hence I loved the backdrop of both of both these elements in the story-line.
Why didn’t I give this book a 5 star rating? There is only one reason for that and it was the length of the story. The story felt very short and fast, where I really didn’t get to know the characters very well. Although I loved Amanda and Noah’s chemistry together, I felt like I didn’t know them individually. Usually, I like to get to know the characters individually before seeing them paired up. However, here we are immediately thrown into the romance.
Apart from that, this was a very sexy, cute and charming story. Overall, it delivers mostly everything you look forward to in a romance novel and does not disappoint.
