Rescue by Shreejit Nair delves into how innocent children are taken advantage of and pushed in the downward spiral of crime. It has teenage children as its protagonists who happen to fall in a trap. A trap that changes their lives forever.

The story kickstart with the introduction of two sisters. They have lost their parents while they were in college. Later, the two start an orphanage to take care of children bearing the same fate as theirs. Soon, the children become their family but the sisters split to go in their respective directions. In due course of time, the children fall in love with each other and their budding romance takes some space in the plotline. However, one day, the boys come across a mysterious man who asks them to hide some weapons. Because the man claims to belong to the Army and our young boys believe him. What follows thereafter captures why the book is titled - Rescue.

The book intends to draw our attention to the fact of young children targeted by anti-social elements. The variety of themes including friendship, love, humanity as well as terrorism are discussed in the book. The writing was appreciably good for a debut work. The characters were fine. I especially liked the bit where sisters adopt the orphans and have one big family. That imparts a lesson of kindness and humanity. Furthermore, the character of boys' friend Prithvi stands out for his true friendship and courage.

Although the central idea of the book was important, the overall plot treatment failed to deliver what it promises. While we assume that Rescue will delve upon a key idea of helping someone, it digresses more towards teenage romance. I have had major discontent with how easily our boys believe the mystery man and partake in his evil deeds though passively. In that sense, I felt that the entire presentation fell inadequate in terms of putting forth what it should have. I went into the book for some action but I didn't find any. Barring the climax that contained some cliche course of action, 'Rescue' itself didn't get enough attention and importance.

In a nutshell, the intended focus of the story was undoubtedly important. However, the treatment of the plot could have been a lot better to create a fulfilling read.

Rescue by @shreejittheauthor is a story of Samarth who wanted to make his family proud, fell in a trap. Always tasting failures, he wanted to taste success and he got a chance when he met Iqbal. Success or trap? Greed or love? Things changed when Prithvi became their friend. That guiding angel.
.
The plot of the story is interesting filled with twists, making the reader curious, about the coming twists.
I loved the storyline of the book. It has a journey of people who struggled and came out stronger. A story of love, friendship and family.
.
The crisp and engaging narration and a smooth pace make this book more intriguing. The characters were well developed by the author.
.
I liked how each character had their own journey wonderfully described by the author. The drama, the dialogues, everything was upto the point.
.
It's not only the story of Samarth, but all those who's destiny changed with time. Who faced struggles in their own way. Be it unrequited love, or fear of expressing love, or waiting for that perfect moment to express or misunderstandings.
.
This book has it all with a strong message of 'choosing the correct path'. Love reading a book filled with twists and light read? Do not skip this one.

A tale of four friends, met by fate in the orphanage home at a very young age, gets separated from each other as life takes place. Story that includes hardships, manoeuvring of emotions of these notorious children.
Dealing from the life’s misery, young innocent boys were tricked by a man named Iqbal In search of redemption and break from controlling and perceived humiliations,
But unaware of the fact that deadly ghouls are preying on them.
The element of surprise introduced at the right moment in the story. From build-up, through detailing and slipping it into the imaginary of the readers, the words have played their part considerably.

The language used has accompanied the objective of the stories, directing them to their cause. Author has weaved an intricate story which will keep you hooked. He constructs from this the constituency essential for the fabulous narrative and emotions that are preordained in defining moments, which in turn define these individuals.
an extremely interesting and engrossing Thriller read after a long time, must read book for those who are looking for some enthralling yet fresh.

The author Shreejit Nair has tried to send important messages to youngsters . This story tells the situations that shape children to walk wrong paths make them get equally destructive consequences and they may not get second chance too.⁣

Full review on blog. ⁣

It is  the story of four friends. Starting from their childhood they grew up in orphanage home. They came to be known as notorious people even in the school. When you have no parents getting true guidence is hard.Life took a turn from heaven when they were made to separate from their loving peers and homemates. Feelings bloomed during adolescence were also hurt but few didnot fade away till the end . Their backgrounds and personalities are effectively described starting from their childhood to school life . Elders try to inculcate importance of discipline in them but they were rebels.⁣

" When you put a bucket of hope into the well of dreams and pull it upwards with the rope of hard work, you achieve destiny."⁣

Things were flowing smoothly until they choose the wrong paths out.Terrorist attacks , loosing loved ones , going to prison getting convicted of crime even in the juvenile stage made them regret their choices later going through hardships.⁣
I liked how author included in brief words life's essential knowledge through the mouths of Desai uncle , the Major , the dance teacher by providing reference of the success of eminent personalities . ⁣
But sometimes life doesnot give second chance.Read this book for a thoughtful read. Available both in kindle and paperback. ⁣

The book has been written in a very easy to read manner, I loved the characters (especially Prithvi and his personality) and it felt absolutely relatable, the twist and story line is very emotional and touching. The second half of the book is superbly written with great description and suspense points, it makes you appreciate your relations with friends and family.

I am disappointed with the inclusion of not needed teenage romance, I think that could have been avoided saving much pages, and it wouldn’t have hurt the story anyhow. Also the first half of the book is a bit slow, giving very fine detailing which could have been avoided.

Book is highly recommended for people who love suspense thrillers and also want to replenish their school day memories, this book will also help you understand the virtues of goodness.

Stuffed full of captivating drama, wiles and a great lesson, Rescue: Paradise to Inferno by Shreejit Nair is a book set up to depict the honest choices that life offeres to every teenager at least once. The narrartive gives a heady hit to the storyline and presents the whole concept of the book in a way that readers would find it relatable and true to the world.

The book revolves around 4 orphaned teenagers, who used to scurry together until the enigmatic life drifted them apart.
Carrying on their separate paths with their patched past, these teenagers fall down the hole of committing some dark deeds. What happens next and how they manage to rescue themselves from the clutches of the evil phase of life is for you to find out!

The part of the book that I liked a lot was how it gave away the phases of life with authenticity.
The book presents an amalgam of challenges, friendships, separation, struggles, ambitions and what not. It also talks about the spiraling of people down the darker roads and saving themselves with the realisations they gain.

The plot was gripping, strong, a bit too fictional here and there but worthy enough for me to recommend it.
The author has put his best foot forward with the writing style. The only thing that ticked me a bit was how the protagonists were made very naive for their age but overall, it was one hell of a read which is definitely worth a shot!

#INSIGHT: Four teenagers, having patched pasts, living their monotonous life find someone who offers them a secret task for the welfare of the country, or so they think. The story is about how they rescue themselves out of their own mess and what all they lose and gain in their journey.

#REVIEW: The author has connected all the dots of the story really well. I loved the way characters are intertwined. Author has done a splendid job with respect to the narration and storyline of the novel. The novel is definitely going to bring out the emotions from all of you as it has a staggering mix of different shades of life. It has everything, love, friendship, thrill, action and that too in proper proportions. The icing on the cake is that awareness which the author wants to create.

#STRENGTH: You will see the happenings through your own eyes, that's how good the narration is. The language is extremely easy to understand. The storyline is perfect. I have come across a book written on juvenile crimes for the first time which was altogether a different experience.

#WEAKNESS: If only it could be a bit more realistic. In the world of internet like sources, I just could not imagine a well educated, 17-year old boy to fall into the trap so easily, but I guess that's what fiction is.

#TARGET READERS: Can be read by anyone but highly recommended for all the teenagers out there.

#AGE GROUP: 15-40

#RATING: 4/5

A solid thriller with extremely important message!

It will take you on a journey where school going kids who are orphan and live together comes across a man named Iqbal who allures them in the name of patriotism and offers them money in exchange of keeping few bags here and there. Strange!

What do you think, is Iqbal really a man from army because that's what he told to kids. Will kids get into any trouble? Will they lose their friends whom they were living with since a long time? What will be the result of this carelessness?

Writing style of this book was lucid and convincing so beginners can definitely pick this book up.

I liked this book for the lightness it carried. It was a thriller so it was supposed to be quite disturbing but it was so relaxing with extremely important message at the end.

I would recommend this book to every person as we all should learn the difference between what is right and what is wrong.

A must read story

Some stories make you laugh,
Some help you face, life's challenges tough.
Some put you to sleep,
While others in your hearts you keep.
Some keep you awake, till the morning next,
Some make you fall in love with their texts.
But this one here will stay in your heart,
Cause it's about love, friendship and a second start.
Loved every single aspect of this book.
It's an absolute must read.
