This is the epic series finale, be prepared for it to be explosive.
Brian: After defeating one of the strongest demons I've ever faced since becoming an Agoto, my own life hangs in the balance. Seems as though that shaman didn't go down without a fight, delivering one hell of a final blow to me and my king, Adriel's army. This may be my end.
Raphael: Darkness. That was the last thing I saw when I helped Oria defeat that shaman. Darkness is what traps my now, I was falling in it, catapulting around and around, unable to grasp anything. God, what in the hell was happening to me? Was this the final blow? Would I ever see my mates again? Did this also happen to Brian? Was Andre still alive? I didn't know. I couldn't feel them anymore. Was I dead? Was this my afterlife? Where am I?
Andre: With all the chaos going on around me, the only thing I could focus on was the fact that the connection I felt with both Raphael and Brian seemed to be fading. Oh god, did that mean they were dying? Please say it ain't so. I can't lose them, especially not when we were so close to ending this war. I needed to get to the king, surely he'll know what we need to do next.

I'm the author of deliciously dark, sexy, and thrilling MM fiction in various genres. I corrupt readers with salacious tales of possessive men staking their claims on the men who make their blood rise in certain places. I know... I should be ashamed, but I'm shameless. I'm a public menace that can't be stopped, and my characters are rude, sassy, charming, arrogant, and hotter than sinners in hell. They tell me what they want and I follow orders. So bittersweet it is, Demon Gate was wow. When Nicholas first offered us his new release, Chosen the first book in the Demon Gate series I was sure I wasn't going to like it. There was no Theoden or Noel. *smiles* but I so fell in love with Raphael first, then Brian and was always eager for the next in the series. Mr. Bella so so talented.
Everything they know is at risk, they're life and what they've fought for could very well go up in ablaze. The lessons learned, the emotional growth of each of them. Adriel saw in them the potential to be powerful, will they be? Will their new skill set be enough alongside Adriels other Lords and knights to win against the powerful darkness that is Adriels' brother?
Sit back and absorb the rawness that is Fate the final part of the story. The fighting, the passion, the dirty durty that is off the charts. Nicholas Bella Bravo and thank you for a great book and an amazing series.
I am a HUGE fan of Nicholas Bella New Haven series and basically read everything he publishes. The Demon gate series is no different, and while it does not hold a candle to the supes of New Haven, it was a different take on supernatural beings and the series was enjoyable throughout with a truly satisfying ending. Brian and Raphael in particular made me stick with the series even when the battles/conflicts did not hold my interest as strongly. As with every Bella book, it was sexy as hell and the final party scene was exactly what I was looking for and come to expect from this author. (Can we say tentacles!) I am a Bellaholic for sure and can't wait to see what he gives us next.
Review for the last 3 books It was good. Felt a bit like it was rushing to end but I guess the author didn't want to drag it out and build up more.
The king was kinda meh and absent through the whole thing until the end, which made me a bit sad since he was a cool character. I was a bit disappointed that Raphael ended up letting everyone top him and to not do it meant he had "issues", like not everyone has to be a switch... I was also disappointed about how easily they commanded Raphael into the oasis pool, as if they didn't care if he died. Also, I think he got the short end of the stick being paired with Oria to be traumatized and bullied while Brian got a sexy vamp man to indulge in.
But other than that, the storyline was interesting as always and very engaging and different, which is refreshing to read. This whole series is probably my favorite so far from this author.
Well, that was quite the anticlimactic ending. I didn't really expect for a firework as I understand this series is meant to be read as a whole, almost in one sitting but the final combat between two brothers who had been fighting a war for ten novels was..sloppy. Not really interesting. Kinda boring even. Maybe I would have a better opinion on it had I not waited a few weeks between book 2 and 3 but I felt let down by this ending. Our main trio (Bruce, Raf and Andre) finally works down its problems by f*cking. How original. And that's it. That's all you get. That and one final orgy. Meh.
Grhh I adore this author and his books. I love Rafael and his bond development up to book 7 but after that ermmm lets just say it's not New Haven series. Which is so disappointing. I expect the self loathing head games, I'm not the girl, I'm not the switch to stop at book one or 2. Not beat that horse still on the finale...
