The eighth in her Poems from the Pew series, "A Savior Is Born!" contains Christmas poems for children of all ages. Some poems retell the Christmas story from a first-hand perspective; imagining what it would be like to be an innkeeper, shepherd, or even the Angel Gabriel as he brings the Good News to Mary. Others provide prayerful opportunities for reflection and introspection on Advent and Christmas themes. No matter the approach, each poem provides a concrete example of how we can apply the Good News of the birth of Jesus to our own lives.
