Dearest Love: A Collection Of Poems

Rate this book
DEAREST LOVE, two words that seem simple yet engraved with emotions of togetherness and an inseparable bond or a distance too long that may never be bridged, a distance that exists because love does. Two words, we might have written for someone we long to express amidst the pale pages of our diaries, hoping, someone that may never be ours could read them. These words aren't mere words but feelings that we harbor with hope within us. Hope, that exists because love does, because he does. Love that is never defined by sunsets and unfinished letters. The love that grows inspite of thousands of maybes. A love that becomes the rhythm of this book. 'Dearest Love' isn't just a collection of poems, it's a journey of a love that breathes, exists and hopes. The phases of emotions where heart hopes if loving was easier but then it wouldn't have been this beautiful. Sad, happy but beautiful.

I always wonder how poets can put their sentiments in the style of poetry so effortlessly; it demands serious passion, commitment, and affection for the subject as well as the literature. It's a talent that ain't caught on an impulse and requires a genuine innate gift. Those were my precise feelings while holding 'Dearest Love' by Prachi Agasti. She poetically expresses love and all its forms in different degrees in one's world and has you utterly hypnotized.

Let me begin with the book's cover, so apt to the title and it's contents. The dark cover theme pitches whatever the author attempts to communicate regarding the moods associated with the title. The blurb provides a quick rundown of everything to anticipate from the book, supplying the readers with a full summary superbly. The book comprises Forty-Four compositions with sensations covering yearning to wish to aspire to everything that's desire.

The word grammar is pretty uncomplicated and easy to follow, which allows the readers to relate pretty quickly. Yet, in several cases, I noticed some terms reappeared, which I observed were avoidable. Even though the theme is all around love, every poem has a unique structure. The verses are not that long, and so you can read them in one go. Anyone passing through heartbreak or pining in love will link to the poetry immediately.

The compositions that I loved are What Alive Feels Like, A High I Have Never Been, The Pattern Of Your Sighs, Terrible Beautiful Emotions, Restrained, and 'Nothing To Prove Now Is It?'. I admire the fact the artist has taken so much effort in describing each verse by its appropriate heading wherein you read the poem and can't help but re-check the title to understand that it all falls in place. Though not all poems rhyme, it provides joy in reading them.

Overall, an impressive compilation by Prachi that's excellently composed and is charged with sentiments. I would suggest that everyone read it at least once. Continue your excellent job Prachi, looking forward to reading more books from you.

A beautiful collection of poems, Dearest Love is a heartwarming light read.
There 44 poems which revolve around various themes like love, hope, family, society, culture, etc.
Love is one of those feelings that cannot be described and each of us will have different experience. In the author's words love is magical and enchanting, definitely something that will fill you with life. The author has beautiful expression, the vocabulary is amazing. Though there was repetition of some words, the whole book is unique and quite good to read.
It's a very short read with simple language so anyone can read it at anytime.
Definitely recommended!!

I am going to add some lines from one of my favourite poem 'Unfinished Masterpiece' from this book.
A masterpiece is like gold dust
But you are mine
An art that spills light Into the dark canvas Every time you look at me
As a stretch of my imagination
And the pastels cling to my skin
Like you are a part of me
You become my muse
And breathe life into the stubborn heart
I live like I matter
Bound to someone's existence
And there is nothing fiercer
Than drawing lines of passion
Across your body

Dearest Love by Prachi Prangya Agasti is an anthology of forty four poems that carry the essence of love inked within seventy one pages.

It is tribute to the ones who have the courage to love with all their hearts . It has hues of those longings that keeps our souls live forever in the search of that love. Starting from the time when love touches for the first time to the times when love remains and memories are kept preciously inside for the whole life.

Love is not a single emotion , I think . It is a confluence of a range of emotions. From sweet innocent romance , strong longing , desires to the agony of separation for various reasons and sometimes to the extent of moving on ,mending your broken heart with cherishable and painful memories. These poems weave a nuance of human emotions that interwin together to create the intricacy and profoundness of being in love with some allegory .Each poem is one paged . Few poems are rhymic , most are close to prose styled. I liked the warm feel they provide me while reading them after fag end of the day . They are emotionally engaging. A handy book with a beautiful cover to pick up for romance poetry enthusiasts.

How do I not drown? Knowing every time, we collide We would remain and you hold me close Like I am everything Like your last breath!

"Dearest Love" true to its title is the love letter to not only love but all the emotions one feel on the expressway of it.
The collection of 44 poems, each title more beautifully than other, will evoke the depth of emotions in you. The emotions which unfolds gently until it had engulfed you entirely that is the beauty of this book.
Though the poem also tells you about the emotions like pain, fear, heartbreak but despite all this it celebrates love, like love is above all.

Author in her every poem beautifully captures these emotions and express it in a honest, light-hearted, simplistic way. Admirable language use by author shows the earnestness, passion which clearly reflects in the poems. Though I wanted more flow and rhymes in the poems but the big smiles which present on my face while reading it made up for it.

/Poetry lovers pick this book up/

Dearest Love is a beautiful collection of 44 poems that are based on love and after pain that often love brings with it. Poet has beautifully penned down all her emotions that when you read them, you can feel your heart beating faster or sometimes it will ache to cry.

Writing style is extremely beautiful and because of this only, this book is different from other poetry books. I really admire poet for choosing right words.

I don't really understand so much of poems and especially if they aren't straight forward but this book had something in it that connected me with the first half of it so well. I particularly don't like to read about heartbreaks but I could understand the pain through words.

I am recommending this book to all the poetry lovers who have command over language and who love to write poems.

Dearest Love by Prachi Prangya Agasti is a collection of 44 beautiful and some painful poems engraved deep in emotions of belonging, togetherness and deep love.

Our Kind Of Promises and Unfinished Masterpiece were one my favorite poem from this book. The basic premise of the book being love and relationships, but it explores deeper roots and things that come with it like hope, trust and intimacy.

If you're looking for starting with poetry, I would really recommend this quick and brizzy read. I would have liked it more if we could see more themes in various poems. Over the end it kind of became repetitive but non the less I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

This beautiful four letter world is expressed thoroughly and throughout in the book very beautifully. You give me anything with the theme of Love and I am all in for reading it. This book genuinely did not disappoint at all.

Dearest love by Prachi Prangya Agasti' is a collection of love poems. The poet has weaved some mesmerising poems about love, bonding and relationships.
--
Though a very short read, this book has 40+ poems and small snippets. The tone of all the poems is filled various emotions of love, attraction, friendship, bonding, faithfulness.
It feels like many of the poems are addressed to an anonymous lover as so does the name of the book.
--
The concept and imagery behind poems are really good. However, the only criticism I have is writing and vocabulary could've been more better.
If you're beginner, love poems, and looking for a light read this book is for you.

The Book - "Dearest Love" is a beautiful collection of 44 poems about love. The emotional journey of lovers are beautiful penned down. All the poems are deep and meaningful. Among all poems my most favourite is - "We Will Know Miracles Exist", the poem in itself is so strong in terms of words and emotions described that it made me fall in love with the poem. The last line from the poem " We Will Know Miracles Exist, And Love heals us all.", is so meaningful that one can connect with it.

Overall, the book will take you through a beautiful journey of pain, love, bonding, relationship, distance which everyone of us feels even for once. The poetries here are short but they take a reader to an emotional rollercoaster ride.

Language used here is lucid but the credit goes to author. Full heatedly she has knitted the rhythms. Love us not the main theme of the book. Other emotions like fear, pain, joy have been brought out too.

‘Dearest Love’ might be the simple yet sensual collection of romantic poetry you might be looking for. Through the decades, love poems have carved a separate genre for themselves. Poets of all generations have shed their griefs of separation and heartbreak in their love poems, and have also made them shine in the vibrant ecstasies of romance and attraction.

Prachi Prangya Agasti brings to us a set of heartfelt poems that talk of her own expression of love. She perceives love to be enchanting and magical—that makes us feel blessed and alive. Love, to her, comes as a lifeline of survival, and she wants to submit and give in to it.

The poems teach us the value of empathy and love in our lives. It conveys how profound the effect of love is, and what it might do to us. It urges us to protect and accompany love, not abandon it like a used toy. It preserves the role of unconditional affection in our lives, and the desire to be loved and cared for.

“A masterpiece is like gold dust
But you are mine
An art that spills light
Into the dark canvas
Every time you look at me
As a stretch of my imagination
And the pastels cling to my skin
Like you are a part of me
You become my muse
And breathe life into the stubborn heart
I live like I matter….”

The aspect of love that gets portrayed in these poems is that of submissiveness. It is very sensual and retrospective, maybe that is why they are called ‘dearest’. Truly enough, a sense of affection and caressing lingers in the verses, giving the poems a very calm and soothing touch. The love here is not wild, neither is it too outgoing or free-spirited. To me, they got conveyed like the lovely, breezy fancies of an innocent soul, maybe dreamy reveries of it. Somehow, the poet always avoids the deeper, more wavering aspects of love. Instead, she strokes and showers affection on her lines—making them sheer serene and beautiful.

As we progress further into the book, the poet takes up a very subdued and defeated tone. She reminisces about the happy, warm times of her past and compares it with various components of nature and the universe. She perhaps knows that the feelings of love she portrays towards her companion won’t be reciprocated. But even then, she isn’t ready to give up on her love. She is open to forgiveness and flexibility. Thereby, the general notion that looms large from these poems is of inclusion, and not fragmentation or demarcation.

The quality of the diction is what makes the poems worthy of praise. The choice of words, the tying of phrases and the usage of the perfect amount of imageries—makes the poems such a delight to read. The metaphorical implications aren’t absurd or out of the place, rather they’re believable and concrete to the core. The poet hasn’t shied away from improvising on the intricacies of romantic emotions. This collection of poetry stands up with its originality.

“…While everything around is dead
I standing wrecked
With nameless, broken love
Tattooed on the wall
Waiting to repeat my favourite disaster….”

The thematic interpretation of this anthology is something that could have been more progressive. All throughout, the poet has taken up a very desolate and introspective tone—unaware of the disappointments that love also comes with. She has floated about in her self-made ocean of magic and daydreams, and meanwhile, has perhaps lost the track of reality. The ‘love’ portrayed in this book is truly very dear and intimate, but it also could have been more courageous and individualistic. A very broad feminine sentiment was shrouding the poems with a tone of forgiveness and unconditional support. Towards the very end, the poet is visibly hurt and weighed down—but she never strikes back. She never blames her destiny nor does she complain. She just drowns in her pains. '

But is love always worth forgiving? Doesn’t it inflict us with unfathomable amounts of pain and anxiety which demand a strong retaliation? Strangely enough, this other fierce and brave ideology of love never came through clearly. A doubt that was constantly up in my mind regarding the poems was---is the poet repenting the loss of her love or merely asking for forgiveness from her companion? Is the mindset of the poet inflicted with such trails of remorse and regret for the storm that has passed? Read the poems to find out yourself!

There can't be a single person who's never tasted the saccharinity of love. Love is a moreish feeling that bewitch us. Its a quintessential part of our life, the cause of our existence and the meaning of our life.

So Dearest Bookish people ❤, tell me what's love according to you?

A beautiful and captivating poetry collection which carries within it , the untold emotions that touches our heart is 'Dearest Love' by Prachi Prangya Agasti. The expression of this unsaid feelings gives us an everlasting impression throughout the journey of the book.

There are a total of 44 poems packed with the themes of love, hope, grief, anger, frustration and unrequited love.

The passionate, impeccable, everlasting desire of to love and to be loved is the rhythm as well as the recurrent theme in the poems.

"Amidst the crowd, our eyes meet
Your gaze plays a little longer
Than just a moment
And my heart stops beating
While yours race faster
Like we sync and then live
Like you and me is what alive feels like"

There is no proper rhymes. The poem is written in free style, but it is lyrically appealing to our senses. The poetry felt to me like an explosion of intense emotions the speaker has left to say. There is the suffering of unrequited love, pain of sacrifice, burning desires, yearnings and hope to be one, wounds and healing. These juggled emotions are beautifully woven together in a single, fine platter.

The lucid style of writing makes it readable even for beginners of poetry.
If you are in love, this book throbs your heart
If you were in love, it pricks your heart
If you want to be in love, it fastens your heart beat.

Do grab a copy and read over a cup of coffee to satiate your incurable, cozy and intense feelings.🌟🌟🌟🌟

I just enjoy the book, many times I read every poem, but not necessarily in order, one of the things I loved about poetry books is that they don't have substantially.
They are also small, so I always carry this poetry in the kindle App.
Recently I completed this book while single sitting.
After reading this book several times, certain poems truly impressed me,
Themes emerge, as well as connections between poems, small lines and we'll written words.
My favourite poems from this book.
👉 YOURS TO CONSUME
👉 WE FOUND OUR ESCAPE

👉 A LOT LIKE LOVE
👉 COMING UP WITH AIR
👉 HOME WITHIN YOUR SOUL
👉 I DEFINITELY LIKE RAIN

DEAREST LOVE is a collection of poetry written by, an Indian author.
The book does not revolve around a particular theme, rather it covers the art, home, society, courage, strength, weakness, culture, love, rain etc.

My favourite poetry lines from this book.

(Now you know how the flowers felt When the rain poured like breaths After a lifetime of aching Kneeling for a lifetime surrender To the moments of existence While you have memorized my skin Like the raindrops worship the withered flowers And I melt under your intimate poetry).

I definitely recommend this book to all poetry book lovers

Happy reading:)

Book Name: Dearest love

Genre: Poetry

Summary: DEAREST LOVE, two words that seem simple yet engraved with emotions of togetherness and an inseparable bond or a distance too long that may never be bridged, a distance that exists because love does. Two words, we might have written for someone we long to express amidst the pale pages of our diaries, hoping, someone that may never be ours could read them. These words aren't mere words but feelings that we harbor with hope within us.

My Opinion: Dearest love is a collection of 40+ poems compiled together under a single cover, wow, I was recomended this book by a friend and simply cannot stop adoring the beauty of emotions that I came across while reading it. I really appreciate the way things are presented, the way the narrative gives importance to love and feelings than materialistic things, shows us how unique and pure it is. The poems really reached my heart and ultimately, I had a great time reading and experiencing all of them.

Good and Bad: As I said, this book isn't just about reading, it's about expressing and experiencing and that's what I really liked.

My favorites from the book:

Lethal Explosive and We will know miracles exist. There are many poems but you should check them out by yourself.

Target Audience: This is a cupcake for all poetry lovers and readers who like sweet, deep, and expressive poetry.

What to expect: Emotions like pain, love, joy and nostalgic. It gives out a nice soothing feeling too.

Final verdict: I will suggest this book not just because I loved it, but also because it's very calming and has a variety of poems too.

Love is a very magical feeling.
__
We can express love by giving gifts, surprises, showing affection, doing care, and being kind and humble. We can express our love verbally as well as via gestures and non-verbally. Every person has their own way of showing and expressing to their beloved. And “Poems” are one of them.
__
I was reading this book “Dearest Love by Prachi Prangya Agasti” is a collection of Poems. The book has a total of 44 poems. Poems are based upon love birds, the couple who engaged in love freshly also she quotes about how the relationship is shaped and twist and turns happens. Each poem has something deep essence and meaning behind it. As a reader, we can predict various meaning out of a single poem as we have a vivid perspective though.
__
While reading I was enjoying and was able to relate it. Some poems are short and sweet. Some have a very rhyming touch. I must say vocabulary is very subtle with proper phrases when need.
__
The language I say moderate not so simple not so hard kind of thing. Also, the way of portraying the various emotions was totally amazing. I have read various poems and a lot of them have similar context but I feel after reading these 44 poems that love and pain can be shown and penned down in such an effective way.
__
Overall, I also like the cover simple and beautiful with intense colors. I would definitely like to recommend a book to everyone and especially to love birds and couples out there.

Are these poems? Nay… Emotions in its purest form as love with no expectations! Not all love stories are said out… Not all lovers succeed but still ‘Unconditional Love’ exists and this book is a tribute to those flawless souls.💙

The very first poem ‘Falling into Abyss’ mesmerized me! Use of Refrain in it was wonderful and it stresses out the point well. 🖤 I started letting myself fall for the poem.

The choice of words is brilliant! Shortly, diction is perfect. The poem ‘How Restless a Love Can Become’ is splendid and heart touching.💖 I would love to share a few lines to show case the talent of the young author.

‘For you my love, are the moon
Holding this piece of art called heart together
And I being your desperate lover
Seeking warmth from afar
Moments my heart twitches
For all the love you divide and spread’

The rhyming she had employed in several poems makes them undeniable. Poetic devices are used well and of course, it adds beauty to the book! 💖 A quick read- it could be read in a single sitting but could be felt forever. Emotions sparkle amidst the lines; who won’t love such poems?

I have several favourite poems in this book including ‘Death meets life’ and ‘A language I desperately seek’.💖
Recommended for people who ‘feels’ Poetry. It is surely a very good, satisfying and short read!

The book has a collection of 44 beautifully expressed poems that will refresh your mind and soul. There are poems based on love, hope, life, and more unique collections that you will never find anywhere else.

My Take:

Dearest Love: A Collection Of Poems written by Prachi Prangya Agasti is the first book I'm reading and it's simply amazing.

When I started reading the first poem, it felt amazing 'falling into an abyss' which grasped my full attention and my heart and I continued reading ahead with a smile.

All the poems have a soulful touch and are with deep meaning that will make you feel connected and related.

The poem 'yours to consume' the poetess Prachi has written.
you are breaking me slowly
but all I want is to kiss your apologies away
To satiate for a thousand years
because I am yours to consume
like a canvass for a painter.
Just like this, there are many quotes from the poem that you will love and feel amazing after reading it.
Some of my favorite poems are:

1. A lot like love
2. Home within your soul
3. You exit like truth
4. Our kind of promise
5. A town without a name.

Overall a very beautiful poetry book filled with emotions, motivation, inspiring, and elegant poems. So read now.

🍷Dearest Love🍷
'Dearest Love' isn't just a collection of poems, it's a journey of a love that breathes, exists and hopes. The phases of emotions where heart hopes if loving was easier but then it wouldn't have been this beautiful. Sad, happy but beautiful.
.
.
"Pain and Hope cannot be lovers", this line totally has my heart. This is a very beautiful, short yet a heart touching collection of poetries, poems that are written in free verse and with metaphors at times, poems that grabbed my attention from the very first page, this book exactly turned out the way I expected it to be, it's fragile when it has to and it's bold enough to speak out the pain when it's needed. A good poetry is like food for soul, thats what this book was for me. It reshaped me, it reshaped my feelings, the way the author explores love, hope and especially pain, it was extremely beautiful.
.
.
I am sure this book will be relevant and will go with everyone. The language was melodious, it's simple yet deep. Definitely something that can be read and absorbed by one and all. I will highly recommend it. Even beginners can try it out.

Title: Dearest Love-A collection of poem
Author: Prachi Prangya Agasti
Publisher: Puffins Publishers Private Limited
Format: Paperback
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
The cover of the book is amazing as I liked the dark shades.

It is a collection of 44 poems full of love & emotion. It’s also about friendship, great bond & distance which has a deep meaning.

Before start reading the book from the beginning, I picked a few random poems while having a cup of coffee and I must say that India is having a great & talented writer like Ms Prachi. After reading the whole book, I can say there’s some magic in her writing style.

The line which I liked most:

Every moment right from today
Feels like an everlasting goodbye
Like light is warning fast
And there is unbearable pain
Of being without you
Like amongst the crowd
The noise fades away & I stare
At a void called heart
And it’s difficult for me to breathe
Iterating a life bereft of your essence...

The language is simple & easy to understand & each & every poem is really heart touching.

If you’re looking for a light read in poems then go for it.

Thank you for the reviewer’s copy. ❤️🦋💫

Title :- Dearest Love
Author :- Prachi Prangya Agasti
Genre :- Poetry
Rating :- 3/5

🌸'Dearest Love' is a collection of 44 poems by Prachi. All the poems are based on love that is extremely intense and enchanting. And obviously they are also formed on pain, hope and fear that comes with the ride of love.
If you're in love that can't be defined or has started loving someone or just in love with the thought of love. This book is totally for you.

🌸Personally, I couldn't enjoy the book as much as I had expected because of some repetitive emotion and vocabulary in the poems. Motive of the poems were repeated but despite this reason, poems were written beautifully and were very romantic. Author has wonderfully portrayed affection and inseparableness of love in her poems.
Any kind of reader give it a read. If you love poetry, you should definitely read this one.

🌸One of my favourite was "A high I have never been". Read this one thrice, yeah that much I liked it.

Dearest love: A Collection Of Poems
By Prachi Prangya Agasti

My Rating:9.8/10

💝This book is a series of 44 poems that are based on unfinished love. Unfinished love is the purest love type and the people who believe this are the cleansest spirit.

💝The author captures these emotions in her every poem and communicates it in a truthful, light-hearted, simplistic manner. The author's admirable use of language reveals seriousness, enthusiasm that is expressed in poems. Although I needed more flow and rhyme in my poetry, I did want to do that by reading the big smiles which are present on my face.

💝The title has two words only, but there is a lot of emotions, feelings, a union and a wish. My favourite poetry was several: A Language I Want Desperately, Our Lady of Promises, etc. The book is lovely and I enjoyed it

💝Overall, the book takes you on a wonderful journey of pain, affection, slavery, friendship and distance which we all experience once and for all.
Recommended definitely!

HAPPY READING💙

Book: Dearest Love
Author: Prachi Prangya Agasti (@echoes_n_hurricane )
.
It's a poetry book about Love and how deep and pure that feeling could be. I'd quote a line from the Acknowledgements section which I loved -
"Certain love are the unfinished ones and certain love are never realised. Yet they are the purest forms of existence."
.
When I started reading it, I felt attacked (in a good way), like "Take That Dagger and Slay My Soul Brute🗡️".
.
These poem are intense and the feelss are soo good. The language is easy to understand and relatable with moderate length poems and the way words could make a person feel is clearly visible.
.
I personally liked how author tried to connect love and nature. It's not always beautiful, sometimes it's Dark, sometimes it's heavy, sometimes it's sunshine, sometimes it's just silence of a forest.
.
It might make you feel a little shaken but content at the same time, my advise would be to cherish the feeling of Love, How Hopeless, How deep into the abyss, How hard and How blissful it could make you feel.
