The day my wife died—leaving me a single father—I thought the sun would never rise again. Until Brennan showed up to be my little girl’s nanny.
First things first: I don’t need a stranger to help me raise my baby girl, let alone a fresh-faced young woman who still looks like a teenager.
Second, this town already hates me, so the last thing I need is to get tongues wagging. But hell if she isn’t a walking, talking temptation.
The way her jean shorts cling to her curves, accentuating her long, tan legs. The timid smile that peeks out from her plump lips just begging for mine.
I knew I shouldn’t. But I did anyway. The moment our lips touched, the way her body molded perfectly to mine, something inside I thought had died years ago came to life.
I should have stopped there, but I didn’t. I claimed her. Made her MINE. Knowing full well I’m not her happily ever after.
Life has a funny way of not letting me forget I don’t deserve a second chance...
Her dad shows up with a shotgun, her ex shows up to win her back, and the whole nosy town knows I stole her innocence.
She deserves more than this dead-end town. And my baggage.
She deserves for me to let her go...

Good and tender romance 4.5 This is the second volume in the Slade brothers' series, who have a horrible reputation in their town because they are rich and inherited the bad reputation of their ancestors, even if they are more than honorable. It's the story of Colton who is a father and a widower for 2 years. He's trying to have a nanny but he doesn't succeed until Brennan shows up. They are immediately drawn to each other, but between the mourning still difficult for Colton, the age difference and Brennan's innocence, they resist. He says he has changed, but his aggressiveness towards Brennan pushes Colton to go beyond his preconceptions to protect her The story is tender, well written, hot, with good characters who, although the simple story is addicted. If there was one thing I could request it would be that spicy book authors would try a little harder when giving their books titles. “Off Limits Daddy” really there was nothing better we could come up with than that???
Was this book entertaining? Yes. Did it have a plot? Kind of. Was it spicy? Yes. Was it extremely predictable? Also yes.
I’ll start with my biggest annoyance in this book. The toddler dialogue….Colton’s daughter, Milly, is two and her dialogue in this book is atrocious. It was so obvious to me that the author has no children and has maybe not really been around too many toddlers. No 2 year old speaks the way this kid does in the book. Also at times it went from literal baby sounds “Dada” to talking in complete full sentences “Will Bre ever come to visit us?” No. Just no. Also the scene where she gets sick… no 2 year old will come out of their room and announce to you that they are sick. Then Colton acted like she had scarlet fever, when her temp was 101. That’s not even a high fever for a toddler. It was just so ridiculous. Maybe if you’ve never had kids and you read this it won’t bug you, but as a mom of three kiddos it was just a hard pass for me, it was so cringy every time there was a scene with Milly.
I feel like this author actually has the skill to be a really good writer. If she could just develop her plot a little bit better. (And maybe never have kids talk in her books) Ive read several of her books now and her stories are good, the plot is decent, the spice and romance are great, just level it up a little and she’d be phenomenal.
The problem with the plot is there’s always storylines that start and are then just dropped off. In this book for example, Nate, Brennans ex, is this huge conflict in the story and then suddenly he’s just simply gone. No explanation of what happened to him or where he went, like no conclusion to that storyline at all. Same thing with the mysterious potential half brother that we learned about in book 1… he was very very briefly mentioned twice in this book but really no development of that storyline. I’m assuming this is going to be an over arching storyline in all the books in this series but then there should be more than just a mention of it in each book, tell me what’s happening.
This book gets 3 stars from me, it was ok. Which is disappointing because it really has the potential to be a great book.
Instant chemistry. Fall in love and live happily ever after. Read both books so far about the Slade brothers. Same theme in both books older men falling instantly in love with younger women. Found the author irresponsible in both books not because of the big age gap but because of the amount of beer and whiskey Drake and Colton consumed on a daily basis. They definitely have a drinking problem. They carried beer and whiskey bottles around all day like this was a natural occurrence. Can't see how the author expected them to function on a daily basis let alone carry on a successful business when In a constant state of drunkeness. Even the women didn't seem concerned about it. No strong alphas in these books.
Is it hard to make a cover model March the description of the characters?
This author has a thing for blondes. Celeste in book one is blond haired, green eyes. Brennan in book 2, strawberry blonde with green eyes. Daughter Milly, blonde hair. 🙄
I skimmed the majority of this book. Plot and characters had no depth.
He talks out loud to his dead wife that he'll never move, she was the real kind of love, his whole world, yet he proposes to Brennan with his late mother's rings and claims he never gave them to his late wife because he knew she wasn't his soul mate. WTF?!
This is book 2 of a series, no cliffhanger and a HEA.
Colton Slade is one of the Slade brothers whose family has lived in the same small rural Colorado community for 3 generations. Now, with Milly, Colton’s 2-yr-old daughter, the family can claim 4 generations. But, for 35-year-old Colton, he does not see the hope of any future contributions from him to the family’s legacy—Ashley, his childhood sweetheart and mother of his only child, died not long after giving birth to Milly. And her death broke Colton. Ashley was his heart and soul, and while he loves and does his very best with Milly with the help of his brothers, he cannot imagine ever finding another person who could heal his broken heart.
Brennan Crawford is also a generational native of the same spot of Colorado dirt. But she did leave for a while to attend college, earning her degree in music. And now the petite, green-eyed, strawberry blonde 24-yr-old is home, ready to contribute to her community as a music teacher, but there is no job. So, living at home, she is seeking a job—any job, really—that will allow her to get her own apartment. And so, she agrees to become the nanny for Colton Slade. And, the job is much more than she expected. Milly is delightful; the tasks of babysitting, cooking, cleaning the house and doing the laundry are manageable. The challenge is dealing with the surly, snappish, handsome widower and father. But Brennan is a determined to be there for Milly and her grumpy father. What Brennan is not expecting is the unannounced visit from her ex-boyfriend, Nate—the boyfriend whom she walked away from because of his mean, verbally abusive nature, who always pushed her for sex, especially when he overindulged in alcohol. And to further complicate the dynamics, Nate has sold her father on his devotion to Bre, selling the idea that the Montana born rancher’s son is seeking a ranch wife, and winning her dad’s approval by suggesting that he might even be willing to live and work Bre’s family’s land.
Off Limits Daddy continues the story of the Slade Brothers series. This novel continues to weave a strong storyline with interesting characters and electrifying emotional connections. This second novel continues to follow the romantic developments of a family with secrets and unresolved heartache that needs to be addressed to bring happiness and healing to the other members of the family. Each novel can be read independently, but the Slades are so engaging that you will want to know each member and his story.

Losing someone you love, who was meant to be your life partner, way too soon turned Coltan into a grumpy workaholic introvert. The only bit of love he had left in him, he sparingly gave to his brothers and small daughter. Until, Brenna applied for the position of Nanny to his 2 year old daughter. His first thought was she was too young, his second she was too much of a distraction for a man who never intended to look at another woman, after the love of his life died shortly after giving birth to their child. After finishing college with a teaching degree in music, Brenna returned to her parents ranch and the small town in Colorado. When she lost out on the music teacher’s position at the local school, she had to settle for taking care of Milly, Coltan’s daughter. She loved Milly at first sight; it took just a bit longer to realize that no matter the age difference between her and Coltan, nor his grumpy attitude would stop her from falling for this man. It took Brennan to show Coltan that there is more to raising a child than providing the basics. Loving attention from a lady that shares care giving with play time, music and bedtime tales can make a difference in attitudes for both child and adult. Coltan realized very quickly that he was seriously in need of Brenna’s particular brand of care and loving attention. What was even worse was he wanted her even more. Hindered, with the interference of an ex-boy friend and some disapproving family members Brenna and Coltan will have to decide what is most important to them and if they can over come her parent’s objections, his past and notion of age discrimination. This is the second in the tales of the Slater brothers. A bit of the first story with Drake and Celeste, along with a may or may not be half sibling continues in this tale of loss and new found love. It can be read as a stand alone but the storyline becomes fuller when read in order. There is hard drinking and spicy love making along with a good romantic tale to be found here.
Colton Slade is a brooding, angry widower with a precocious 2 year old daughter. His wife died right after childbirth, and Colton has been carrying that anger ever since. Brennen is a 24 year old college graduate who returns home in hopes of getting a job at the local school teaching music, but the position has already been filled. She resorts to applying for a position as a nanny, and comes recommended by Celeste, girlfriend to Colton’s younger brother Drake. Colton isn’t crazy about the girl with legs that go on for days and a firmly rounded bottom, but he has no other choice. He also asks that Brennan do the laundry, keep the house clean, and prepare dinner before her day is final. She also must be in the home by 7 am.
Colton decides to come home at lunch every day to make sure little Milly is being well taken care of, but when he finds Brennan in his bedroom, studying a photo of him and his late wife, he blows a gasket! He explains that she is never to come into his room again. Brennan is sure she is going to hate this job, even though Milly is becoming attached to her.
As the two spend more hours together, they find themselves enjoying the company of the other, bit Brennan’s former college boyfriend Nate shows up, begging for Brennan to take him back, promising that he has changed. Brennan’s father takes to Nate, both being men who have worked the land for generations, and offers to allow him to stay in the finished loft in the barn, as well as offering him a job. This is perfect for Nate but as Brennan grows close to Colton, Nate really comes in strong in his efforts to win her back, and Brennan’s father absolutely hates the Slade family! Will Brennan continue going against her father’s demand that she quit working for Colton, or will she decide that Wade is the man for her, since that’s what daddy wants.

Small town, steamy age gap romance with swoon worthy HEA!
This is no dirty old man story. This is an age gap romance with plenty of heat & love. Brennan is a down on her luck 24 year old trying to make ends meet after having her dreams crushed post college graduation. With the encouragement of her best friend, she decides to interview as a nanny for one brooding, alpha mechanic named Colton. He’s sexy as sin, but he’s only got love for his little girl, Milly, after losing his wife two years ago. Colton hires Brennan on a one month trial basis assuming she’ll quit - thanks to his gruffness or the constant demands of a toddler. Colton soon discovers Brennan is surprisingly at ease with Milly & the everyday demands of running a household, even taking the time to cook for him while he’s so wrapped up in work. Suddenly Milly isn’t the only one desperate to see Bree, but Colton finds himself trying to resist her in honor of his late wife. All that goes out the window though when Brennan’s ex-boyfriend, Nate, shows up in town wanting a second chance. Her parents are so smitten by his charms, they even let him stay in the barn & work on the family farm. Brennan however remembers just how pushy & controlling Nate was and after a brief date, it’s clear he hasn’t changed. After Colton rescues Brennan from a dangerous disaster of a date with Nate, sparks fly & they can no longer resist one another. Nate is furious Brennan chose Colton over him & seeks to destroy the couple’s newfound happiness. Can Brennan’s family accept that she’s in love with an older man? Or will small town ways & small town minds keep them apart for good?
Perfect combo: brooding older man meets younger woman, hires for nanny, love ensues…steamy! I LOVED this book. Now I want me some Colton Slade! He is almost 40yo, father to 2yo Milly and widower for almost that long. The passion and devotion to his dead wife’s memory is profound and very touching. He’s not happy but he doesn’t WANT to let another woman into his life after losing Ashley. Then comes 24yo (but looks like a teenager) Brennan applying for the Nanny position. She is college educated and good with children, but gets the correct impression that Colton doesn’t want to hire her. After some coaxing from his brother’s girlfriend, Colton takes Brennan on for a probationary period of one month. What neither of them understand is the overwhelming attraction they share. Oh. My. Word. Their first kiss…Thigh clinching stuff. Colton fights his attraction as hard as he can. Brennan continues to work as Nanny while they figure this out, but all is not right. Brennan’s college Ex follows her back to her home, which makes her cautious and angry. What is his game? The Slade boys have a bad reputation in their small town and have been fighting it for years. Will that get in the way of Colton’s and Brennan’s HEA? As I said I loved this book. I have now bought all in this series based simply on this book. Can’t wait to read about the rest of the infamous Slade boys. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout and I give it 5 Stars. You will love the characters in this book.
Colton Slade lost his wife two years ago to cancer. Now,he has to find a nanny to help him with his two year old daughter, Ally Brennan hopes that Colton hires her to watch the little girl. He is attracted to her from the beginning and instead insults her. Asking her if she is old enough to take care of Ally. She feels insulted, but she is twenty-four years old. Colton still has feelings for his dead wife. He doesn't know how to get past his feelings. He doesn't know that Brennan is still a virgin, and when she tells him in the heat of their passion, he runs away. But he can't forget that kiss they shared. He wants her. She feels the same way. He knows that he wants her, but he is older than her. But she wants him to be her first. She knows he will take time and be a gentle lover. Their chemistry is off the charts. Every time they are near each other, sparks fly. Her ex comes to town thinking he is going to win her back, but that doesn't happen. When he drinks, he's abusive. He tries to force himself on her. He wins her father over by lying about wanting to get Brennan back and maybe getting married. It's all about control. Colton catches him strong, arming Brennan one night. He told him that if he ever caught him doing that again, he would have to answer to him. Of course it did. He let him take the first punch, and Colton knocked him out with one punch. Brennan and Colton have their problems but are working them out. Great story about another recluse, Slade brother finding his forever love. Great story by Alexis Winter.
Colton is the widowed father of a young daughter. The death of his wife has left gutted emotionally, unable and unwilling to move forward in his life. Everything changes when he meets and hires the beautiful and captivating Brennan to be his daughter’s nanny. At first he snarls, criticizes and rages at Brennan because his unexpected attraction to her leaves him feeling guilty for betraying his late wife. But Brennan’s gentle ways with his daughter, her steadfast work ethic and her quiet beauty soon have Colton believing that maybe he could be happy again with someone other than his late wife. A stolen kiss, and her innocence leave them both flustered and confused. Even the disapproval of her parents and her clingy, smarmy ex can’t stop them from claiming passionate embraces, and steamy nights together. When their connection is tested and questioned, will they stay together or be broken apart?
I loved these two strong, well-developed characters. Brennan brings life and love back to Colton, and his love and support make it possible for her to stand up for herself against her parents, to strive for a permanent place in his life. Her love changes his demeanor, his outlook on life, and his interactions with his daughter. They make each other better.

Beautiful love story. Wow! I loved this story & couldn't put it down. Just as things seemed to be going great between Colton & Brennan her phyco ex Nathan turned up trying to get her back even going as far as getting her dad liking him & moving into their barn. Threatening her when she said no to him then telling her Dad about her & Colton making her chose to leave Colton & Molly or go back to her family as her Dad had told Colton to stay away from her & not wanting to make her choose Colton told her to go but will be waiting whenever she was ready. She went home but moved out almost straight away getting her own place with the money she'd earned being Millys nanny. Not seeing him made them both realise exactly how much they loved each other & Celeste knew how they both felt telling Colton that he needed to sort himself out & tell Brennan as they were both miserable even after only a week. There was an instant connection between them when she went for the interview to be Milly's nanny but he didn't want to feel anything as he swore after his wife died that would only ever live her but in the end the live he felt for Brennan was more than he did his wife as if they were soulmates who get their perfect happy ever after. I can't wait to read about the next Slade brother.

Right from the beginning, I was addicted!! This was such a great story!! Colton is a widower with a two year old daughter. He needs to hire a nanny to help out. His last interview of the day shows up, her name is Brennan. He finds himself attracted to her immediately, which is a problem because he has sworn off women since his wife died. Without a better option, he hires her. At first, Colton gets snappy with her about every little thing she does, until he starts noticing how much she is improving things, not only for his daughter, Milly), but for him. The more time they spend together, the more the mutual attraction grows. Brennan has a problem though. An ex-boyfriend from college, Nate, comes to her hometown to win her back. She had broken up with him because she knew he wasn't the one for her, and the way he treated her was not like a man in love. Unfortunately, Nate can put on an act of being the "good" guy and worms his way into a job and place to stay on her family's farm. Also, Brennan's family doesn't like Colton at all. With Colton and Brennan give in to their attraction, and if they do, can it bloom into love? Will her family accept him or push her to Nate? I enjoyed this story and can't wait to read the stories of the other brothers!!!

Off Limits Daddy is the 2nd book in "The Slade Brothers " series and it was so freaking yummy! We got to meet Colton in the first book and his cutest little daughter Milly. This story was so heartwarming, but at the same time heartbreaking. We feel the pain that Colton still has for the loss of his wife....OMG that was a intense part of the story. Brennan comes into their lives as a live in nanny to take care of Milly and the house while he goes and runs his business. She is much younger than him, but there's this invisible force that keeps pushing them together, even though they fight it as hard as possible but they have an undeniable steamy chemistry! There is so much to this story we meet her traditional parents, continue to see what's new with Drake and Celeste (loved this part), we meet the whole Slade family, there's a bad ex, betrayal, forgiveness, love flourishes, and an adorable toddler that will steell your heart ❤️ she's smart as a whip. This book to me was even better then the 1st book. This Book will be released on May 19, 2020. I can't wait for book 3 who is Clay Slade story coming on June 1st 2020.
I received this ebook ARC from the author on the condition that I write an honest review. The main male character is Colton, a lonely widower, attempting to raise his 2 year old little girl alone. He is trying to find a nanny to care for his daughter and hires Brennan. The main female character is Brennan, a fresh out of college young girl, trying to find a job, and ends up applying for the job of nanny for Colton. When they meet, there is immediate attraction, but Colton believes that he should be faithful to his dead wife’s memories. She begins working and takes great care of the little girl, even with Colton not trusting her. Her ex college boyfriend comes to follow her and causes several problems, as he is determined to get back with her. Eventually several circumstances occur and the boyfriend is sent packing, and Colton and Brennan develop a relationship. There are problems with Brennan’s father accepting Colton, but he resolves everything and eventually Colton and Brennan obtain their HEA, and become a happy family. I’ve read several books written by Ms Winter, and I’ve loved everyone of them, because she has a way of taking the reader on a beautiful journey into the book. I always recommend her books.

Off Limits Daddy is the second book in the Slades brother series and Colton 's journey in finding happiness after the death of his wife. Colton and Brennan's story is full of passion, lust, love, family fights, support, interfering ex's, drama and heart
Colton is a single father needing help, when he decides it's time to hire a nanny he was not expecting Brennan. Brennan has returned from college and is looking for a job when the opening as a nanny pops up. Wanting to stay true to his wife's memory he is guilt ridden over his attraction to Brennan, but could she be what he needs to fill the missing part in his life. Brennan is not with out her own troubles when an abusive ex follow her home and tries to get her back or her parent disapproval over her choices.
Colton and Brennan have an immediate and intense attraction to each other and when they give in their world seem to right it self. Colton is a gentleman, he just wants to love and protect the women in his life. Brennan is young and is wanting to show her family she is no longer a little girl.
Their story will grab you from the first page and keep you so engrossed as you fly through the book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was so satisfying. This is book 2 in the series. If you haven’t read the first you can still follow along however I recommend reading the first for context. If you’ve read Book 1 then you will already be familiar with Colton, our emotionally damaged widower who is in desperate need of a nanny for his little girl.
I admit to being a little put off by the original description of Brennan. With her looking so very young it seemed strange that Colton had so quick a turn around on the way he viewed her once he learned her actual age. As you get to know her character and get a better sense of her it’s easy to move past this. She’s has that quality about her that shows strength even as she seems innocent.
The fireworks between these two are fantastic and their chemistry transcends the pages to the point you’ll feel that emotional connection as well. This is more than just a love story. As with the last Slade Brother’s story we have our FL helping our ML overcome his self worth issues and realize that he deserves a second chance to be happy.
I received an advanced copy of this story through BookSprout and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
This book was awesome! Alexis Winter nailed it with this one! This was the second book of the Slade Brothers series. Colton Slade and Brennan Crawford were great characters. Colton needs a full-time nanny for his daughter Milly. At two years old, Milly only has her dad because her mother died shortly after childbirth with ovarian cancer. Colton is hardened and bitter with the world since his wife died. Colton's soon to be sister-in-law recommended Brennan Crawford for the nanny position saying she would be great. When Brennan arrives for the interview, Colton is constantly belittling her. He tells her she isn't old enough to care for a two year old. She tells him she is twenty-four years old. He refers to her as being a part of the partying scene because of her age. But at the end of the interview Brennan holds out her hand and when he shakes it there is electricity between the two of them. That puts the final nail in the coffin. There is no way he can hire this girl. Yet, his sister-in-law talks him into it. Okay, he gives her a thirty day trial period hoping she will flop. However, she amazes him in more ways than one. This book is a must read and I highly recommend!
Off Limits Daddy KU 230 pgs **** 6/3/20 Colton & Brennan 4 stars. Loved this 2nd book of the Slade brothers. Since already being hooked and attached to all the characters, getting to know Brennan and loving her was easy for me. I loved Milly, she was much more mature than most 2 years old though, more like a 3 year old but still she was precious and added to the story. I love it when stories have babies and kids since I relate more to those type of characters with kids. The chemistry was great between Colton and Brennan and it didn’t take long for Colton to stop being a jerk to her and become infatuated and sweet. They were perfect together and the build up to their relationship was perfect, flow was awesome, no slow parts, no filler pages, the sex scenes were very sensual, especially the first one between them. Again, I just wish the book was longer so I could have more. I will continue on with the series because I am really enjoying each one of these books. Thank you, Ms. Winter, your writing is just down my alley and gives me the stress relief of a hard day at work.
*** Got bored so I came back to this. Read for a bit to 60% and then I skimmed to the end. It was very terrible. The pacing was so off. Everything happened quickly from the characters’ attraction to their falling in love to the conflict with the ex. Then it just became about her parents not accepting them together. For the next 10 or so chapters, they’re just moving from one place to the other talking to different people about feelings and discussing nothing. Pages and pages of internal monologue. Over what?
Then the one that surprised me the most. Colton’s age is not explicitly stated but one time he’s 10 years older than Brennan, who’s 24, and the next he’s in forties and the oldest of the Slade brothers. So which is it? Can’t believe that was missed because it happened time and again.
This was bad and I’m going to retire from Alexis Winter for a while. She writes easy books to read, but sometimes, the stories are stupid and this is one of those times. There wasn’t even a story here, smh. The whole thing with Nate was absurd. Who’s dad acts like Brennan’s?
Again, single dad (or really single parent) romance...I fell in love with the kid. Milly is the glue that held everyone together. Colton is her dad, and widower after his wife passed. We meet Colton in the Slade Brother's book 1, Billionaire's unexpected Bride. I can honestly say, that while I loved Celeste and Drake, I really wanted to know more about Colton. Colton is in serious need of a new outlook on life. A nanny for his little girl, his world is needed, but he doesn't want just anyone. Brennan is a college educated woman just looking to get out on her own. She is recommended to Colton and so he takes the interview. Being much older than her, he is immediately biased against her. Eventually, they work out a nanny routine and Brennan shows she can hold her own. Some ex comes onto the scene and makes things difficult for Brennan. Brennan's family is against the Slade family (like much of the town). How can they work out? It all does in the end, but it is a ride. This is actually a book I would read again. :) I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Off Limits Daddy. I enjoyed this book! It was a good romance book. Colton is a single dad needing a nanny. Brennan applies for the job. At first Colton didn't want to hire her because of her age, but Celeste convinces him and he thought he would regret it. The connection between them became to strong they couldn't resist each other even though other people might not agree. Their relationship was not accepted by her parents and caused problems. Time apart helped them resolve the problem as well as Colton stepping up and being the man he needed to be and talked with her father. The book also covers the relationship between all the brothers and meeting Brennan and Celeste to the family. This is a must read series! I really liked reading Off Limits Daddy by Alexis Winter because it was such a great story about Colton and Brennan. Colton needed a nanny for his daughter. He was a widow and he hired Brennan who he immediately liked but felt disrespectful to his dead wife. Colton tried very hard to stay away from Brennan but was having a very difficult time with it. They really belonged together like soul mates, but it took some time to get there. It also didn't help that Brennan's family did not like Colton or his family because of some disagreements with land. To make matters worse, Brennan's ex boyfriend came to win her back and was staying at her family's house working for her dad. I really enjoyed this story because as much as they tried to stay away from each other, they were really soulmates for each other. I highly recommend reading this story. It is amazing!!

Colton Slade feels that he is broken after losing his wife and focuses on his 2-year-old daughter, Milly, who needs his love and care. He already decided that he is not looking for any kind of future relationship. But he does need a nanny for his daughter. When he sees her, he is hesitant to hire Brennan, already feeling an unwanted attraction, making him keep his distance. Brennan is good with children and she and Milly are comfortable together.
Then Brennan's abusive ex comes to town to get her back. Brennan’s father interferes as well trying to keep them apart. But by now, they know what they are feeling for each other. Can they overcome these obstacles? Are they ready to deal with a town that already has judged the Slades as bad characters? Is this struggle worth it to find their HEA?
This was a wonderful story with good characters the reader can cheer for. Grab your copy and see how they deal with the difficulties that try to keep them from what seems meant to be!
Holy moly was this book emotional. Alexis Winter has created beautiful well written story that will take readers on an emotional roller coaster of grief, heartache, passion, second chances, family, and love. Off Limits Daddy shows readers a pretty true account of how hard it must be to open your heart again after losing a spouse. Colton is a single father whose only priority is his daughter and being both father and mother. Having sworn off love following the death of his wife, Colton is unprepared for the attraction and feelings he has for his new nanny Brennan. Brennan is a recent college grad who plans and hopes to find a teaching position as a music teacher, until then she decides to earn money as a nanny for Colton Slade. This is an older man/younger virgin nanny romance. Colton is a widower that has a very hard time to move on. He's in dire need of a nanny for his adorable 2 year old little girl but nobody is good enough for his Milly . Brennan is a mid twenties young woman looking for a job so she'll be able to move out of her parents house; nannying isn't her first choice but she knows she's good at it. It's instant attraction on their 1st meeting and Colton doesn't like it, because it stirs up too many feelings he's not dealing with. This story has a very good text , a great plot line with lots of emotions, drama and with amazing supporting characters. First (and other) intimate scene is sexy and steamy.
Just loved it and highly recommend it.

I loved this book. Alexis Winter you know how to write some beautiful love stories. Colton and Brennan’s story are so touching and moving. He is struggling to move past the death of his wife who he thought was the love of his life plus trying to raise a sweet 2 yo daughter. Brennan is fresh out of college and has moved home with her parents and trying to get over a bad relationship. He needs a nanny and when he interviews Brennan is attracted to her but doesn’t want to hire her. Persuaded by his brother’s girlfriend he hires her and slowly feelings develop. The chemistry that Colton and Brennan share is so smoking hot and yet so kind and tender. I just can’t help but love them. This book was so so good. This series is just good!
