The voice of Diddy is very soothing and relaxing. It's the best sleeping pill out there that doesn't have side effects. He is the second best thing that has put me to sleep, first being the Applied Science teacher while he was lecturing for my Diploma.
I’ll be damned if this wasn’t solidly good! I deducted one star only because when he instructs the breathing, he like… chats a bit before telling you what to do so it’s hard to follow, but otherwise, this is totally, unexpectedly, enjoyable.
When did he lose the “P” in P Diddy? I’m so behind on the times!
Because of the quarantine, I had issues with my sleep.. but somehow this audio book made me to fall asleep peacefully. Actually I recommend it to anyone had insomnia. I tried before many meditation tracks and stuff like these, but this one was different.
Probably my favorite sleep meditation. Well, technically not a meditation, more like a positive reinforcement sleepcast. His voice is low and gentle and soothing, and his affirmations are perfect for putting away the day's worries and stressors and welcoming sleep.
I'm late to the party and was surprised and amused when I saw this in Audible. I've listened to many bedtime guided meditations for years. This one is shockingly comforting and effective!

This, along with a bunch of other short things designed to lull listeners to sleep, was an Audible freebie. Most of the others--well, the ones I tried, at any rate--were either snippets of long, technical works or arhythmic collections of noises, none of which I found the least bit soothing. That's probably why it took me so long to even try this one.
I'm glad I finally did! Diddy has a gentle, soothing voice, and the 20-minute meditation was at once encouraging and relaxing. It worked like a charm. My only complaint is that I had to find my own rhythm for the breathing because he would say to breathe in for four counts, and then he'd talk a bit more before actually counting. But now that I know to expect that, I will be ready to try this again.
Notice what happens when you feel grateful. Notice what happens to awareness while thinking of the people we’re grateful for in our lives. There’s great power in breathing, especially during exhalations. To tap into the power of gratitude, understand that we’re all a part of something bigger than ourselves. Like attracts like, and positivity exchanges more of the same. Send energy inward as opposed to outwards.
Thoughts are just like the sensations that surround us, like seeing the color blue, it’s no big deal. Disallowing ourselves to emotionally engage with our thoughts allows thoughts to simply pass on by. Comfort is about softening tension. How much can a living organism accomplish through stillness? Think of all that a tree does for the world while seemingly not appearing to do anything. Stillness is crucial.
1.5 ⭐ I honestly thought it was a memoir when it appeared in audible out of nowhere. But it's a meditation guide. It's okay, not so great as everyone else said cuz I listened to in a reading mode. Also, with everything going on & hearing things about Diddy isn't helping anyway. It's just disheartening.
I never expected to like something written or read by Diddy. However, this is uniquely soothing and can help ease you into relaxation or sleep as needed. This audible sleep series is really helpful on stressful days or when my brain just won’t slow down.
This man changed my life right here. when i got out of the womb the doctors took me out and knew i was diddy party material. now im a frequent quest to his party and a participant. i would like to give a shoutout to this one retard
This was pretty good. I did not expect something like this from Diddy. His voice was relaxing, and the instructions put your body in the mood for sleep.
Disclaimer: My enjoyment of the narrator is based on my listening speed. I only leave 5 stars for books I've listened to or will listen to multiple times.
