Having this on my shelf for a year and a half, I finally decided to dive into this. David Platt is quite an articulate and clear author making it feel like a quick read.
I am surprised it has not received more reading since it has been out for a bit. It feels much like the IX Mark church basics books. (Which are great reads) This would be an excellent book to have a new Christian get the basics without being bodied by the 390 page behemoth that is IX Marks of a Healthy Church by Mark Dever. Nine Marks of a Healthy Church (4th edition): 4th Edition
I do recommend to new Believers to get a footing and see the basics
