What the fuck did I just read?


I'm usually not rating or writing a review but this one got my first. My emotions were on the roof after reading this stupid book and I can't go without releasing my anger LOL.

Again, a quirky character was introduced to us. Yay, another cringey character! Thanks, author 😍 Lol but safe to say her character is more bearable than Luna (I CAN'T WITH THAT QUIRKY BITCH PLS). It's just that, the constant reminder that she's carefree and liberated was so annoying. It feels forced. Idk kung gusto lang ng author isampal sa mga readers na empowered woman ang main character or what. Although, yes she is but YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO REPEAT AGAIN AND AGAIN. But then, 4reuminct tends to spoon feed.


Safe skies, Archer started with them being fuck buddies, and to tell you, THERE WASN'T EVEN A TENSION AND A BUILD UP. I had to read the blurb again to see if I was reading the same thing. I'm not a sucker for r-18 but seriously? Didn't even bother to write at least a good build-up of their meeting. And the sex scenes, please, I'm begging you, stop writing them 🥺🥺🥺 LMAO ang cringe lang talaga sobra. Magugulat ka na lang umuungol na si Yanna HAHAHAHA. Iskeri talaga mga sis. ATP, I wanna DNF kung di lang ako nasayangan sa pera ko at paghihintay.


But what made me throw the book across the room was the part where Hiro discovered Yanna's pregnancy. But of course, 4reuminct girls would go ballistic and deny the truth for the sake of their love interest's dreams 😍 THE STANDARD? THE STANDARD! 😍 WHEN KAYA? 😍 LMAO.


I DIDN'T KNOW IT'S THE "I'm letting him go for him to reach his dreams and let my daughter grow up without a dad" type of plot. Like at least the author didn't make Hiro an heir of well-known airline para naman it actually makes sense, diba? Like HOW SURE ARE U THAT HE WON'T REACH HIS DREAMS AT ALL WHEN HE LITERALLY HAVE ALL THE MEANS TO DO SO? It doesn't add up, especially with the fact that the characters are living in a modern world. It doesn't sit right with me how Yanna claims that she loves Avi (her daughter) so much when she didn't even think about Avi growing up without a father. She knows how it feels like for fuck's sake. Lumaki siyang walang tatay at hindi natutukan ng nanay pero pinaranas niya rin sa anak niya for the sake of Hiro's dreams. What's worse is that it took them (Hiro and Avi) to know each other. All because of Yanna's stupid decision.


Overall, the whole book is a poor and stupid representation of the quote "true love knows how to sacrifice" 😍 I'm just a casual reader of both local and international books. I don't read Wattpad so I have no idea at all about this aside from what I've read sa description and some snippets from Facebook. I also learned that this isn't a self-published. It makes me wonder kung gaano na bumaba ang standard ng mga publishing house ngayon. There are tons of underrated authors who dedicate their passion into writing pero you settle sa gantong mga storyang walang matibay na foundation when it comes to plot, story flow, and execution? No hate to the author but this kind of story screams nothing but mediocre.

Love love love this book. Hiro and Yanna's story just hits different. I just can't wait for all the books in this series to be published so that I can buy physical copies of them and read the special chapters.

I think out of the 3 books from the series out, this is probably my favorite plot line, although Sevi's still the best boy.

Yanna and Hiro's character grew so well. It took me a day to finish this book.

Just like my love for this kind of plot, I also enjoy how detailed the scenarios were written. At a very young age, 4reuminct is proved she has so much potential up on her sleeve. Again, the character from the first book was consistently presented in this book.

LOVE THIS. ONLY FEW WATTPAD BOOKS MAKE ME CRY AND SSA MADE ME DO SO.

BUT SSA is not for everyone because of how Yanna and Hiro's relationship started. Some people are uncomfortable with it and that's okay, please don't pressure or push them to read it kung 'di talaga sila comfy.

Pero wait, to people who've read it, I saw sa Twitter na Yanna was hated by some daw kasi she's sexually active??? People please, it's her choice what she does with her body. DO NOT SLUT SHAME HER. If a character of the opposite sex, okay lang? Pero 'pag babae grabe maka-judge? Stop it. Leave them to their choice.

Okay ito na hahaha. First off, Hiro is too good to be true, I'll admit. Pero sige sagarin na natin kasi why not hahahaha. Pero basta, Hiro is straight out of a romance book, which he is naman talaga. Yanna, I like her. She's pretty much a 'real' person. She knows what she wants. She's strong, but she also makes mistakes. She sacrifices for the people she loves and her character definitely screams a strong woman.

One of my favorite chapters 'yung Chapter 11 yata 'yon. Basta 'yung pupunta sila ng Palawan tapos Hiro was the one driving the plane, grabe kilig lang hahaha! Also, 'yung moment na nagkita si Hiro and Avi. GRABE. I'M A SUCKER FOR TINAGUAN NG ANAK STORIES LOL. Sobrang heartwarming ng scene na 'yon, and the lines were 👌.

Wala biased ako sa story na 'to. Grabe epekto sa'kin eh hahaha! LOVE IT.

the only problem with the author’s writing is the inconsistency of the main characters. i noticed that whenever the “break up” and then meet again, their chemistry doesn’t feel the same…

but loved this more than The Rain in Espana :)

I was honestly hesitant to read Yanna's story. The way her character was described in the TRIE did not really appeal to me. But thankfully, I did not let my doubts win and I just read on.

Grabe! This is one of my faves in the series. I love Yanna and Hiro. I cannot explain it but their story just stirs a lot of emotions. Basta maganda.

3.8 | I read this book way back 2020, I was so young back then and it became my favorite among the series

The lead characters are well-developed. The timeline was okay, unlike the first one who took 10 years before he could even get a chance to explain. I like their relationship, it's not too common so, thumbs up.

The only problem was this story reminds me of Give Into You (published in the year 2013 or smth) by jonaxx-- a lot. I'm aware that Saludes once became a Jonaxxstories Lover. She even brought CLS 3 and 4 because he loves Radleigh (Island of Fire lead man). She recommend those stories in Good Lips Series along with the other J's stories. I can't say that she copied or adapt the plot or something, but... It's the resemblances after all.

Above all, it was well-written and good. But, not highly recommended for minors. This book contains a lot of unfiltered words, and sex on almost every chapter...

I don’t like her reasoning for not telling Hiro she was pregnant. I forgot who said the line “our love is not selfish, ” but it kinda is, I get that she wanted Hiro to go to Florida and pursue his dreams but that shouldn’t be to the expense of their daughter growing up without a father, and Hiro missing out on special moments with Avi.

I don’t like the first half of the story, from the first meeting to the fubu deal. I don’t really know why, maybe I just don’t like how messy it was, it’s just not for me idk. But the second part where they all have jobs was fun to read, I like that they were mature. And the part where they spend time with Avi was so heartwarming. Whenever I reread this story I just skip to the time skip because they annoyed me a little when they were in college. Also the sex scenes were lacking something (idk what it is tho). Maybe instead a lot of short sex scenes, it should’ve been fewer but longer detailed scenes.

Finished it in a day. This is better than the first book! Man dare I say this has more depth! It exceeded my expectations! I don’t know the timeline on when she wrote this after book 1 but this is wayyyyyy better than the first. The writing style was still the same but it improved here but I still find myself skipping some parts because it’s too repetitive, hence the 3 stars. I really really love the plot and I wish we could read more of Hiro and Yanna!

Nagdadalawang isip ako noong sinimulan ko ito dahil hindi ko na-enjoy ang karakter ni Yanna sa unang libro dahil sa kanyang mga kilos at salita.

Ang pumipigil sa akin na hindi ituloy ito ay si Hiro dahil gusto kong malaman kung paano niya haharapin ang isang tulad ni Yanna. Ako ay natuwa dahil tinatrato niya siya nang may paggalang sa kabila ng unang impresyon ng pagiging-straightforward sa kanyang kahalayan. Sinusubukan ko sa aking makakaya na magbasa ng mga libro na walang masyadong sekswal na nilalaman (Nilaktawan ko ang mga iyon kapag sobra na 😅 it's a me thing), meron itong ganyan kaya mag-ingat ka lang kung hindi ka komportable dito bago kunin. Iyon ang eksaktong dahilan kung bakit ako nag-aatubili noong una.

Muli, gaya ng aking naobserbahan, pinatawa ako, napangiti, napabuntong-hininga, napahiya, napahiyaw, at iba pa ako habang binabsa ito. Parang gusto ko ang mga gawa ng author dahil sa maraming beses na akong natatawa sa bawat chapter. The fact na malungkot ang isang chapter tapos biglang naging nakakatawa yung sumunod na scene 😂 Ang tanga ko isipin na magpapatuloy ang lungkot. Namumuo na ang luha ko pero biglang umatras.

I was hesitant when I started this because I do not enjoy Yanna's character in the first book because of her actions and words.

What kept me from not continuing this is Hiro because I want to know how he'll handle someone like Yanna. I'm glad he treated her with respect despite the first impression of being straightforward at her lewdness. I try my best to read books that don't have too much sexual content (I skip those when it's too much 😅 it's a me thing), this has those so just beware if you're uncomfortable with it before picking it up. That's the exact reason why I was reluctant at first.

Again, as I have observed, the author made me laugh, smile, gasp, feel secondhand embarrassment, scream, and more while reading this. I seem to like her works because of the many times I've laughed in each chapter. The fact that one chapter was supposed to be sad then suddenly became funny the next scene 😂 I was a fool to think the sadness would continue. My tears were building up but retreated.

This story was ENJOYABLE, but also FORGETTABLE as well. I like this book better than the first book though. But, these are my thoughts in the book.

Let's begin, shall we?

The parts that I like:

-Samantha is a GREAT friend. I love how she's really supportive towards Yanna and that she's always there for her.

-Somehow, I liked the meet-cute between Yanna and Hiro. It was something that made me read the book instead of dnfing it.

yup, that's all.

Thing's I didn't like:

-In the first book, there's the break-up and getting back together trope which I am not a big fan of. Well, guess what, the second book also has this trope. It's fine, I don't really care. But I don't like how Yanna hides her pregnancy from Hiro. Yeah, she was not ready to let him know yet, but when Hiro discovered about it, she LIED to Hiro and said that the child is not his. She lied to him for what? Because he doesn't want to have kids yet? Because she wants him to pursue his dreams? No idea.

-The book also has more R-18 scenes than the first book, but whatever. It's just that, this book is less focused on their school life. In the first book, there are still some scenes about the characters in school and their school life. But this book? I can't really recall since most chapters are about Yanna and Hiro having seggs.

-The pop culture in the book. As for Wattpad, pop cultures mentioned in books are bearable. But the slangs that are used in the book are just so Gen Z.

-Long story short, they lost their spark once they broke up and got back together. Everything has changed, it will never be the same again. I hope there will not be the break-up and getting back together trope in the next book.

I don't recommend reading the comments at all. How is it 'the standard' when it's just the bare minimum? Not to mention most people keep on spoiling you-know-what whenever Shan is mentioned.

Just when I thought nothing could surpass my love for The Rain in España, this book did. I was hesitant to read this because first, it had two tropes that I don't really like, and I THOUGHT I was spoiled, but it turns out it was in the synopsis. However, I didn't even mind the tropes when I continued reading.

I also thought no one would come close to Kalix, but Hiro proved me wrong. I was really excited to read his book since he made an appearance in the first book, and I saw POVs of his character on Tiktok. Aside from his good looks, he has great humor, is very kind, and is very goal-oriented. We love a romantic! He literally bagged all the qualities I like in men. HAHA. Special mention to his love of taking stolen pictures/videos of Yanna and putting captions like "beautiful" on it. UGHH, I love him. No words can amount to how much I am attached to this FICTIONAL guy.

Yanna is one of a kind. Selfless would be the best word to describe her. Selfless from that start to the end, literally. She was also so strong :<

I am so attached to this book that I feel it will put me in a massive reading slump. The pacing and flow of the story were so well done! I was so immersed that I forgot I was reading. I tried to take reading this slow, but it was just so good that I couldn't put it down. Books rarely do that to me! I enjoyed and cherished every moment.

Reading taglish books really hit differently. I don't know why I haven't done it before. Also, seeing the parallels with The Rain in España made me so happy!

5 star read for me

Sobrang tagal ko nang gustong basahin toh! Tagal ko na rin tong pinagmamasdan sa local bookstores near me and it is worth my time. I believe I gave this a 5 star kasi ngayon nalang uli ako nakapag basa ng romance book that is related to the dreams that I want to achieve in the nearest future and very connectable for the reason that it is set in the Philippines.

Now talking about the characters, when I read the first book in this series kay Yanna talaga ako pinaka not interested since she is very liberated and straightforward, however I was hooked since ang ka-partner nya rito is isang piloto. While reading this book that's where I understand her strong personality and I agree to Hiro she is a very strong woman. I looked up on her being selfless for Hiro to achieve his dreams. On the other hand I describe Hiro as someone romantic, friendly, family-oriented. I like how he doesn't take grudges from others and he easily forgives too (he shared this in his pov). I love both of them they're perfectly made for each other. Not-serious girl x romantic guy!!! I really do believe Yanna deserve a man like Hiro who seen her in a different light regardless of the actions and decisions she made.

About some parts of the story, I got bored sometimes maybe because I want something thrilling HAHAHA pero I realize those boring parts/chapters made the story more menaningful and wholesome to me. The story tells us directly that to be able to reach for our dreams, there are also sacrifices made. The book itself screams the love, passion, and hardship the couple faced.

I love this story. I must say, I enjoyed this more than the first book. :)

I thought that after reading the first book, the second would save me, but it didn't. Let me explain my perspective. I'm not a fan of second chance books or any of the tropes in this book. The explicit scenes were frustrating. I just felt uncomfortable reading it. It was strange and unreal because I love reading scenes like that, and then there's Hiro and Yanna doing it. The bland writing just wasn't giving what the spice was supposed to have, and Yanna was making decisions for Avi without consulting Hiro, and I couldn't stand it. Bane's review at the top encapsulates my entire vantage point. If you enjoyed it, that's great, but I didn't enjoy it again. And you might be wondering why I finished it if I didn't enjoy it. Well, I have strange attitudes toward books that I hope will improve as I read more. But I was disappointed because at the end of the book, all we got was a snippet of his point of view. It was insufficient. Everyone on my Facebook friend list who has praised this book will be disappointed by my review, but they have to accept it because I had to deal with whatever mixed emotions and utter boredom I felt while reading it.

tbh drop the few 1-9 chapter at daretyo na sa chapter 10 dahil doon na ako nahulog sa book na ito teh soooo downnn! makikita mo talaga yung character development nila lalo na kay Yanna, i love her sobrang proud ako noong natapos yung book with their happy ending. the story has the usual college love story sa twist ng more bold and raw ganun and how i enjoyed it

The second book of this series was truly different from the first, that’s for sure. This book showed such a hot and intense dynamic between the two main characters and how their love story started with such fiery passion that were agreed to remain physical not until both started to fall for each other and gain emotional connections as well. How they were able to slowly build up to the point wherein they were finally realizing that they cared for one another was PEAK ‘kilig’ reading on my end and how they both tackled the conflict that was presented to them was great. No need for third party drama and all that as this truly made it feel REAL. The realities of the actions they both chose to do and how they handled it as how their characters were written to be made me more impressed. I only wished to have seen more of that raw and wholesome scenes between the two and not just the majority of s3x scenes (Though the scenes were beautifully written as well)

I really salute the author dahil ang tapang niya para mag sulat ng ganito. Kasi I'm 100% sure na hindi 'to para sa lahat. Lalo na if conservative or close minded ka. This is my favorite so far. Grabe iyong mga naramdaman kong emotions dito. Lalo na sa epilogue! Mini heart attack iyon ha!! 😅💔 and gusto ko rin iyong character development ni Hiro and Yanna. Medyo realistic. I love how this book/univseries will tell you that true love can wait and to prioritize your
dreams/career first.

Among the univ girls, Yanna was the one that really caught my attention at first, even tho im still reading Luna's story that time. Then when i did read her story it didn't disappoint.

I love how strong Yanna is especially in via's story, you can see how her life experiences shape her into a strong woman. I love Hiro too ofc he's perfect although he's to good to be true, he is also my fav ml in univ series, Yanna and hiro complement each other really well.

okay... I thought after reading The Rain in España, the series couldn't get any better... but it actually did.

Honestly, I shed more tears in this story compared to TRIE. To be fair, this has a sadder feel compared to Luna and Kalix's story.

I gave this 5 stars because I love how Gwy created this story seamlessly... It's as if every scene is in its own little rhythm, making an amazing harmony.

Although, I didn't finish this as fast as TRIE, I still think it is on the same league with its ascendant.

This by far is my favorite.

This story plot may be controversial because it portrays a character not all can accept. She's been called names by people who doesn't know her personally but there's her circle who really knows her and appreciates her as a friend. I loved how Yanna's character is portrayed. Her character was given justice. This is not just mature content this book is also a reflection of someone's great love. Separation sure is a b'tch but it made them both better the second time around.
