So many things I liked.....

I was chugging along, really enjoying this book. I liked that it was older man/younger woman. Ryker was a take charge alpha MC president. It was steamy, and safe from cheating (slight ow drama). The club whores weren't in your face the whole book and I also don't recall the secondary characters being with them which is a plus for me. Then it just ended... My kindle almost met the wall.

- no om drama
-ow drama - a club whore tries to start trouble but he wants nothing to do with her and never has been with her
- no excessive pushing away at all
-club violence but no rape or sexual abuse
- no epilogue at all. It just ends which really was a let down for me personally

I love how this MC prez is. He only has eyes for his woman and thats something I love!!

Emersen finally going to hang out with a old friend who has veen distancing herself and she ends up in a bar on Halloween dressed like a fairy thanks to so called friend. This catches the attention of Ryker who's already made her his woman and soon to be his ol lady. Their relationship is fast but still slow since Em still doesn't fully believe a man like Ryker would want someone like her.

Kidnapping and some couple drama when she thinks he doesn't want her anymore;) and boy is she wrong.

I kinda sad there was no Epilogue in this.. Idk if ill read the friends book she sounds like a bitch.. and i understand something happened to her but she should have still been a friend to Emersen and not be a jerk.

This is The first book that I have read from Elisa Leigh and I am definitely glad I gave it a chance. I am not a really a big fan MC romances because of the cheating and scenes with OW but this book has not of that. The hero has been celibate for years when he meets the h. This book is an Insta love story, the moment Ryker sees Emerson he is head over heels for her. She feels the pull too but she is worried she might not be cut out for the biker lifestyle. Ryker will do anything to prove his love to Em. This book is sexy and safe. There is no OW drama at all. I am excited to read more from Elisa!

This is the first book in the Steel Daggers MC series by Elisa Leigh. This author has potential and I'm normally not crazy about grammar but even I got annoyed with now/know and on/and (that one is strange). Ryker James is 38 years old and the President of the Steel Daggers MC. After a pregnancy scare with a woman he was casually dating (banging occasionally) he's been celibate much to the chagrin of the women around him. Emersen is a 22 year old nurse, who graduated from college six months ago. Her former roommate and BFF, Chelsea invited her to a bar for a Halloween party. She doesn't really drink but she hasn't talked to Chelsea in months and she's curious as to what her friend has been doing. She had no idea it would be a biker bar and that she'd be the only one wearing a costume. Ryker didn't want to have a party but he gave in although he forbid his employees from wearing costumes. The MC owns Spanky's bar along with other businesses in town and most of the members have rooms there. He's in his office doing payroll when he gets a text from his Vice President, Vince telling him to come out to the bar. Ryker is shocked as hell when he sees Emersen in her sexy costume looking totally out of place in his bar. He decided after the scare that he was done fucking around with women and that the next woman he fucked would be his last. He takes one look at Emersen and knows she is it for him.

Great book

Elisa Leigh did a great job on this story. His Sweet Treat was well written and had a great story plot. Ryker and Emersen were perfect together. They had an instant connection. The chemistry between them was sexy. Loved how sweet and possessive Ryker was over Emersen. Ryker and Emersen was made four each other. This was a great story, I'm looking forward to reading more of this series. Thank you, Elisa Leigh. Great work :) 5 Stars

i would probably rate these books at a 3 1/2 or a bit higher so have rounded them up to a 4.
very short, very fast reads. they are sweet insta love in an mc type setting. the stories really need a bit more fleshing out but for being so short they do pack a punch.

This book is book one in the Steel daggers MC series. This book is also the first book of Elisa Leigh’s that I have read. Because of that, I wasn’t sure on what to expect. I needn’t have worried as I found the writing style easy to follow and the characters likeable. I really liked that as soon as Ryker saw Emerson, he knew she was his one. I liked Emerson. I hated what Chelsea did to her but I later kind of understood Chelsea a little. I liked Emerson and Ryker as a couple. I did see chemistry between them but I would have liked a little more.
My only disappointment/complaint is that this book wasn’t longer. I wanted more! I cannot wait for more books from this series.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It's not very often you find an MC series that is safe. Ryker and Emersen were great. Ryker was an alpha male but sweet and caring to his old lady. Emersen was a good heroine and wasn't whiney, she did do the push and pull thing but our amazing alpha male didn't let her get too far.

Loved this sweet treat!


Loved Emersen. She was a little shy but slowly opened up when she met Ryker. I enjoyed watching her come out of her shell.

Absolutely loved Ryker. He was just the right amount of sweet, sexy, and alpha.

Definitely can't wait for the other books in the series.

It is a cute, steamy, sweet (yes sweet ) MC Romance. An insta-love romance with a sweet female lead and a bossy but sweet Male lead who is a protector of all he holds dear.

Pres/Ryker and Emersen met when her friend Chelsea invites her to Spanky's bar. Pres is going over paper work when his VP tells him to come out he needs to see this. Emersen is in a costume since it's Halloween and her friend Chelsea told her to dress up. When the Pres finds Emersen a bunch of his guys are staring at her in her fairy costume. As soon as the Pres sees Emersen he wants to claim her as his, but he knows that he'll scare her off. Pres asks her to dance with him, Emersen tells him she feels like they need to talk. Over the night they get to know one another, then Pres kisses Emersen. When Emersen tells Pres she's not going to sleep with him, he picks her up and carries her into his office. Pres makes Emersen know that he doesn't want to have her for just one night. Emersen tells Pres she's going home, but he tells her he'll be taking her home. After Pres is finished shutting things down he sees that Emersen has fallen asleep. Pres picks up Emersen and takes her to his home. When Emersen wakes up the next morning she realizes she's in bed with someone. Soon Emersen realizes that it's Pres who's in bed with her but she realizes she's not in her bed. Soon Pres is pleasuring Emersen, and she's pleasuring him. Pres makes Emersen know he'll wait for her but she tells him she's ready, then they make love. Hours later, Pres asks Emersen why she was in the bar last night, she tells him about Chelsea inviting her. Pres tells Emersen she needs to talk to Chelsea she's going through something and needs a friend. Emersen tells Pres she needs to go and talk to Chelsea. Emersen heads to Spanky's and talks to Chelsea. When Emersen leaves Chelsea she heads to Pres's office, when she gets there she finds another woman going after her man. Emersen yanks her away from him and tells her she's woman enough to take care of her man. Pres tells the woman to get out of his office and out of his bar and never come back. Emersen then pleasures Pres, then they make love. Pres tells Emersen she's going home with him, but she tells him she wants to sleep in her own bed, but he tells her that's not going to happen. Someone is running their mouths off about the Steel Daggers MC. Pres calls church to talk to his brothers about it. Afterwords Pres comes out looking for Emersen who was suppose to be waiting for him. When Emersen came out of the bathroom someone knocked her out, a prospect was suppose to be watching her. Emersen gets tired up and put in the back of a van. Then Emersen is pulled out of the van but she can't walk since her legs are tied so a man grabs her and carries her inside she put on a disgusting couch. When Emersen finds out whats happened on the couch she gets off of it. Pres has everyone looking for Emersen, soon they get a lead and take off to the place they thinks she's being held. When they arrives they head behind the house to surprise the men. Several of the men head in different directions. Pres heads inside and before to long he has a gun pointed at the man holding Emersen. When Rock comes up behind Emersen and the man holding her hostage he takes him out. Soon the cops and paramedics show up and everyone gives their statement, Pres is told that Emersen is in shock. Emersen takes time off from the hospital, physical she's alright but mental she's a wreck. After Emersen takes a shower she finds Pres in his office, she tells him they need to go to the store. When Pres gives Emersen a kiss she notices it's not like the ones before. Emersen thinks Pres doesn't want her anymore, so she heads to his room and starts packing her things. When Pres comes and finds her he wants to know what she's doing, he asks her if she was trying to leave him. Emersen tells Pres he doesn't touch her like he use to, she got mad and freaked out. Pres tells Emersen he loves her, she's been pushing him away for weeks now. Pres was only moving slow because he thought that's what Emersen wanted, he's going to show her how much he loves her. Pres makes love to Emersen, then he tells her he needs her in his life. Emersen tells him she loves him and Pres tells her he loves her. Ten years later, Pres and Emersen have been married for ten years. They have a nine year old son Remington, three daughters Ruby, Sapphire and Opal. Emersen never went back to work at the hospital she helps Pres with things around the clubhouse. Pres thanks Emersen for loving him and this life she gave him. Emersen tells Pres she would never be here without him.

His sweet treat is a short novella. Well-descriptive. You can feel the connection between the characters as they pull you in. As the story unfolds in front of you. You will fall in love from the first page. Everyone deserves to be loved by someone. Emersen is invited to a Halloween party by her friend Chelsea. She has not seen for awhile. As she steps inside spanky's. She never knew that love was waiting for her. As she walks thru the crowd. All eyes on her in a strange way. Looking for her friend Chelsea. Emersen spot hers being surrounded by some females. She walks toward Chelsea to say hi and ask her why she made her come dress up in a Halloween customed when no one else is dress-up. Chelsea is drunk begins to laugh at her question. Emersen ignores her walking toward the bar for a drink. She is welcome by Ryker his the owner. The chemistry between them begins when see her sitting at the bar. The lovemaking between is hot enough to melt your kindle. What I like is how Ryker is an alpha he know's what he want's. He would do anything to keep Emersen by his side. What I dislike is Emersen being weak and losing faith in Ryker. Until he proofs her wrong. I love this story and I will cherish it forever to read it over and over. One of the best MC story I ever read. I recommend you to read this book.It deserves more than five stars. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

Chelsea invites Emerson to come to Spanky’s, the bar she is working at, for a Halloween party. Emerson is standing outside by the door when a man comes up behind her. He’s got a black leather vest with Steel Daggers on one side and Sergeant at Arms on the other side. She tells him that Chelsea invited her. Emerson is wearing an all-black Dark Fairy costume that even has wings. They walk in the bar and Emerson immediately realizes that no one else is wearing a costume. Chelsea screams her name and waves her over. Chelsea is drunk and the group of women that she is with ignore Emerson. Emerson walks up to the bar and orders a shot of whiskey.
Ryker “Pres” is in his office finishing payroll. He is the President of the Steel Daggers MC. Vince, his VP, text him that he has to come out to see what is going on at the bar. Ryker is 38 and not looking for a woman to hang all over him at the bar. After an incident where a woman tried to trap him, Ryker has given up having casual relationships. The next woman he wants is to be his forever woman. When he sees Emerson, he thinks she is very sexy. He also likes her feisty attitude.
These two were intense from the beginning. I enjoyed their story.
