Helen Elizabeth Bailey (22 August 1964 – c. 11 April 2016) was a British author who wrote the Electra Brown series of books aimed at a teenage audience.
Not the best book I've ever read but it is still pretty good.
It is basically about a girl whose parents are divorced (well not divorced cause they are still techically married but not living together anymore) because her dad had an a affair with a woman named Candy A.K.A The Troll and so her mum kicks him out and he goes and lives with Candy.
Then her mum gets a really good 'friend', but then her dad dumps Candy and says he wants to come home.
Then the girl foes on a mission to get her parents back together.
This book series is so funny! Being a fourteen year old girl I can't say I can relate however my younger self can. I recommend these books for younger teenagers who want a good laugh. The books not hard to read so I think it's intended for a younger audience however I thoroughly enjoyed book 2 of this series.
A light hearted read that delves into some serious issues and the complicated problems surrounding surviving high school. This is a great read for both adults and teenagers alike.
