Written in the style of a diary, this is about a woman who turns 60 and decides to keep a diary again. Through out her diary, she deals with becoming a Grandmother for the first time, the death of a close friend, the changes of aging and acceptance of aging, along with various other things in life which are at times funny and at others tender and heart wrenching.
This book is a quick read, and in the style of Bridget Jones' Diary, this new 60 year old will speak her mind and include all the true feelings she has. I enjoyed it, but beware- The British words for some things are different and there are references to people American's may not know. That being said, I thought it was a bit wordy too at times, in a diary format, but there were truly some laugh out-loud moments.
