King of Iron Hearts is composed of poetry, which reflects the Fallen Men series. This collection shows us the characters deeper feelings which is dark and emotional. The book is a re-visit and shows perspective of the characters. It's mostly of King's thoughts, about his empire, his family.

I've been reading this book for over a month between a read or a cup of tea. It seems Giana Darling cannot forget her characters. I imagine she is wishing her characters to live and breath. The words in this book are impactful and raw. I really like the idea of dedicating poems on behalf of the characters.

KING OF IRON HEARTS by Giana Darling is a collection of poetry that King wrote Cressida in Lessons in Corruption. Although you don't have to have read that book to enjoy this poetry but it just puts a cherry on top of that book. I am a big fan of this author's writing so reading her poetry take was an added bonus of that writing.

If like me you fell in love with eveything that is King you will adore this companion book to the Fallen. I always felt like I knew King from his story he never really held back but there is something about poetry that almost becomes a window to the soul of who we are. Everything is laid bare with his words, his hopes and dreams, his love and passion for his woman, club and family. Are some of them an omen of what's to come Giana? A beautifully emotional collection of thoughtsand feelings.

I don’t know how it’s possible to fall even more in love with King Garro, but I did. While reading Lessons in Corruption I wished I could read all the poems King wrote to Cress, and I finally got my wish. This collection of poems were absolutely breathtaking and beautiful.

King of Iron Hearts was filled with raw intense emotion. I felt it in my bones what King was feeling through his words. His love for Cressida is limitless—it transcends time. Their love is beyond anything imaginable. And King’s poems were only a fraction of the love he has for Cress. What can I say? King Garro, the poetry biker sank deeper and deeper into my heart.

Poetry is my weak spot. There's just something intimate and sincere in poems, something that speaks straight to the heart. And Giana Darling captured every single emotion and put it into her beautiful words.

King of Iron Hearts is a collection that's impactful. It shows our favorite characters from the Fallen Men series from a different angle. It allows us to know them more, to understand their thoughts and feelings on a deeper level. The words in this book are raw and powerful. It's incredible how a couple of verses can reach into a reader's soul and leave a mark.

These poems brought me to my knees and made me cry. With this collection Giana proved once again how talented she is and that there's nothing she can't write. I'm deeply in love with her words.

King of Iron Hearts is a book of Poetry composed by King and I loved it. If you read Giana Darling's Fallen Men series you could see some of the characters reflected in the poetry and you will be amazed. These poems are well-written and deeply emotional but dark and dangerous too and it will give you all the feels. I really enjoyed this novel as it gives the reader a different perspective to King. I would highly recommend it to all lovers of poetry.

In reading King of Iron Hearts, a book of poetry written by Giana Darling as King Kyle Garro, I've fallen in love with her words again. Giana writes poetry on the level of Toby Mac, Gemma Troy, Mary Oliver, and others in my opinion.

Some of it made me cry, some is so pretty I was afraid to turn the page, all of it arouses the mind encouraging me to think in ways I might not have before. If you've read the Fallen Men MC series prior to this, you may recognize particular characters, or maybe I'm just wishing to have parts of Mute back, seeing Little Lou and Zeus peaking out between Giana's words. This is definitely a must read before you pick up After The Fall on March 13.

Not that you'll be missing vital pieces, but I felt the need to cover myself in the beautiful depravity of King's words and thoughts before I run back to Entrance, BC, to greet old friends and new. Without a doubt Giana's words are absolutely stunning, giving me almost enough, but always leaving me panting for just another bite.

description

It’s been a loooooong time since I’ve read a book of poetry. I definitely wanted to read this one since it’s from the perspective of King Kyle Garro. Poetry is hard to review... it’s like a painting, everyone interprets it in their own way. I think this book is really good! These poems are bringing feels and sexiness from our sweet, tortured biker. I even teared up a couple of times! And the illustrations are absolute perfection! King of Iron Hearts made me want to go back and reread Lessons in Corruption and made me super anxious for After the Fall. If you’re a fan of the Fallen men, you’ll want to give this a read!

Is there anything this woman can’t write?! She never ceases to amaze me with her words and the power behind them. Yes, even in poems...

I honestly cannot think of a better way to honor the Fallen Men than the way Giana has done with these beautiful poems from King. The love, the depth, the pain, the beauty, the creativity that was put into this book... it’s all absolutely breathtaking.

This book is truly a gift. If you’ve read The Fallen Men Series... You will ADORE this book.

He’s eighteen and heir to a notorious, criminal MC. You do not read many poets in books yet alone in a MC and by someone so young.
King Kyle Garro is unique in this way.

This is what drew me to his story and eventually to Giana. I loved that he wrote poetry.
Enjoyed his heartfelt and high on love collection of poems.

Welcome to the Dark Side
Where the good go bad
And the only lessons they teach
Are those in corruption

This book was mentioned in After the Fall I think. It contains all of King's poetries and some of Cress's as well. I cried reading some of them. Specially the ones written for Mute. 😭 Some of the poetries were really extraordinary and amazing. But a few of them I didn't really enjoy. Because let's face it. I don't like poetry. This might be the only book you would find in my GoodReads shelves. However this book took me by surprise as I actually enjoyed reading this one. And those arts attached to some poetries here and there, were so beautiful as well. So, I would definitely recommend to give it a try. You might be surprise like me.😊

I loved diving into these collections of poems. I loved getting inside the head of a character, especially King from Lessons in Corruption. He was such an interesting character. He brought more to the Fallen Men because of his quick wit. King understood the ways of the Fallen Men but wanted to learn and learn the ways of the world. He didn't just learn that through school... He learned it a little bit more because of one particular individual.

There are many times throughout reading King of Iron Hearts that I stopped and reread. Not because I couldn't understand what had been written. I just wanted the words, maybe some more than others, to sink in a little bit more. I'm not quite sure what After the Fall will entail but I know it will be one hell of a ride.

This is one of my favorite poem in the collection:

YOUR CURRENCY

Your worth is not measured by the angle of your hips
And the gap between your thighs
And the breadth of your smile.
It's hidden shyly in the corners of your face
For few to find.
A flower safe guarded in the middle
Of a book you have to study
Before you find the prize.
The true currency of your glamour.

A lovely collection of poems by our very own King, brought to us by Giana Darling.

I loved King and Cassandra in Lessons in Corruption and can't wait for their second book After The Fall. So of course i wanted to see what this cellection would bring. Unfortunately for me i'm not much of a poetry reader and it has been about 2 years since I read Lessons in Corruption, so I probably didn't enjoy it as much as some people will. But if you do like poetry and are invested in King and Cassandra story, I don't doubt that you will love this one!

I have always said that Giana Darling's writing is like poetry...and here is the proof! This is EVERY.SINGLE.THING I love about this author's writing. It's romantic, dark, edgy, heartfelt, passionate, and resonating. The Fallen Men is one of my favorite MC series, and King is definitely my favorite character. This book of poetry written from his perspective is a MUST READ! I love this man. I love this world. And I love this author's words. Well done once again Giana Darling!

King of Iron Hearts was a breath of fresh air. Everything I love and admire about Giana's writing was present and how thought provocative it ended up being was just the icing. It's not a surprise that we found her normal prose in each poem, and I'm so happy to see how King's mind works too.

When I found out Giana was writing a book of poetry, I knew it’d be phenomenal. Her novels are already written as smooth and lovely as any poem.

This set of poems is such a MUST READ if you’re a Fallen Men fan. King’s perspective is such a treat to dive into and is fascinating to experience. The way he expresses himself and his family is captivating and almost hypnotic to read.

Only Giana can suck me so deep into her world with her writings. I’m so obsessed.

Welp, Giana Darling has made me a fan of poetry. Or maybe it's just her poetry. This book of treasures is full of stunning words in small packages. There were MANY times when I had to reread a poem—even some of the shortest ones—just so I could fully grasp the emotion and meaning behind it. Sounds silly, right? Well it's sure silly if you don't let King of Iron Hearts into your heart. Giana keeps proving that she can write anything with passion and brains. 5 hearts for this gorgeous book of poetry!

The best gift and the most perfect companion to After the Fall! While reading Lessons of Corruption I wished I could read all the poems King wrote Cress and we finally get the chance with The King of Iron Hearts to fall deeper in love with King the same way Cress did! Not only do we get King's poems about Cress but we also get to see different phases of his life, as well as the lives of the people around him, through his poetry. Even more, the last part of the book features a collection of poems written by Cressida so we truly get to experience their love story from both perspectives but in a different way than we do reading Lessons in Corruption and After the Fall.

I honestly don't think my words can do this book justice. With so much beauty and raw emotions dripping from each page, reading this book was an emotional roller-coaster that made me feel everything! Many of the poems, if not most, resonated with me and became favourites that I wanted to print and post on my walls. I've already lost track of how many times I've reread The King of Iron Hearts. The poems were like puzzle pieces that came together to form the most beautiful picture to tell a thousand stories, and I enjoyed assembling and dismantling it over and over again.
Definitely recommend, because you will want to forever remember and treasure the poems in this book.

Giana Darling continues to amaze me with her incredible writing prowess. This time she showcases her talent in the form of beautifully dark, romantic, and insightful poetry.

This collection is written from “King” Kyle Garro’s voice. These poems give us a different view into the Fallen Men’s world and this perpective is absolutely breathtaking.

Such a beautiful and unique way to give us readers more of our beloved men, but in a form that makes us stop, think, and feel the written words more deeply.

Thank you Giana for taking a chance on something that most would shy away from.
