This was not my favorite Sienna book, but it was the first thing I've been able to finish during Covid. My mind has been all over the place, messing with my concentration. This story was a little all over the place too, if I'm being honest. The heroines two friends apparently have books coming, but their subplots did not fit smoothly in this book. Felt very confused about what was going on at times. This was a bit crazy town, but Sienna was able to sell it better than most.

OMG thank you so much. After reading so many book in the past month with no substance, it's really great to finally read a book that kept my attention for more than an hour. I couldn't put it do, I was up til 2 this morning reading it. I was hurting on the ending but I have hope. Can't wait for the other two books.

Phew!!!
What a ride this was! I felt conflicted so many times throughout this book. Like who’s side I’m on, Jaxon or Goodiva’s lol. But I’m happy that through it all everything worked out. Lol I would have been seriously upset if it didn’t. Anyways, Sienna wrote another 5+ stars worthy book. I’m highly anticipating the next book in the series!

How can I
Ok you Sienna fans may be a little upset with this review. How can I explain it....... Ok so you know when you go to the hair dresser , you all geeked up cause you know you fina be slayed. Well that's how I was when I downloaded this book on my kindle. All geeked up and stuff. So I'm reading and reading , so in mind in wondering when I'm fina get to the good part. I'm still wanting and I've already finished the book. So back to the hairdresser . You're there geeked up she's finished and they she turns you to the mirror. 😐 it's like what the #uck. Did I ask for this noooooo. I'm not saying that I'm looking for another Giovanni and Mari but damn you could have done waaaay better. I like all of Sienna's stuff but this right here I just can't and I never leave reviews. Half the stuff I didn't understand I'm telling you Sienna has confused me like hell with this one. Are these the same people that told Sienna that Mari was to gangster when she was going to release those last two books. Don't listen to them ever again if they where the same ones that told you that this was gone be a good one.

A great beginning to a new series!
After suffering withdrawal pains with the Battaglia series ending we now have this new one from the master storyteller! My anxiety level has lessened. Thank you, Sienna. I look forward to the next installments.

Good story
Personally, I hated the characters names, and the title....I almost didn't read it. ..my own personal issues...
That being said, the storyline was wild like a Mynx book is supposed to be. Give me more. I liked it.

I enjoyed the book but it is different and I am not sure I like Jaxon/Asad. I did like the friendship between the ladies but the book was crazy with conspiracies everywhere and secrets all around. Something new but intriguing.

I am addicted
Sienna Mynx . What can I say? Well, Goodiva is not my favorite. Delilah is whinny. Jason/Asad is crazy in love . He not really an Alpha even being sickly. Armand had potental for a story. Queen is a mystery. The back stories are interesting. Because its Sieanna Mynx, I am rating this a four star.

Unexpected
No this isn't a normal Sienna Mynx book. At first even I was doubtful but the more I read the more I became engrossed into the modern exotic beauty and the beast story. Can't wait for Delilah's story!

I do not want a Sigma male, I will stick to the Alphas. With that being said this was a very good book full of suspense, romance and twisted plots.

It was fine. And nothing more than that....probably went into it with a different expectation. This is a soap opera, so many tangled webs and dramas wrapped up in this book, there was a HFN tho, but it still left me wanting, something was missing imo.
But if you’re looking to sink your teeth into something with a slightly out there plot, this book wouldn’t be a bad choice.

I’m not sure what happened in this book & You may never know
I adore Sienna And I haven’t even finished all of the Battaglia series. I haven’t read in months, more of listening to books. I decided to dive in with this one mainly because the main male character was not white. I love IR Books that have non-white male characters as the hero. I’m just gonna say the story was so confusing and I got annoyed pretty much 80% of the book. I knew that the other two women in the story Would have their own books because apparently their stories are also tangled with the rest of this story. Sienna is a masterful storyteller but this story was worse than watching 365 days on Netflix. It was written like it was made for TV more than it was an actual book. I still don’t understand what Jaxon/ Assad was trying to do. Or who he was really trying to run from. Goodiva was OK but she seemed immature and young and just went with whatever. the story again was just super confusing and the only really true good part of the book was towards the end in the friendship and the bond of the three women. I may not be sure if I want to finish the rest of the series but I really love Sienna so I’ll probably read it anyway.

Wow!! What a journey! This book started off with such a bang that I had to read the prologue twice to make sure I read it correctly. I am very familiar with this author after spending many years reading her Battaglia Mafia series and never realized how much I loved these dark romances.
Jaxon Price/Asad was such a well written character that he practically leapt off the page. This guy was an Alpha Alpha man! He was so complex and his love for Goodiva was just simple despite his complexities. Let me first start off by saying... this was not a bad read. I simply felt it could’ve been shorter. There were times I was reading the book and simply got lost as to what was the new emotion or what the new issue was. There was a lot of unnecessary characters in this book. By adding everyone else’s problems to this book threw me off. If this was goodiva and Asad’s story only things related to them should have been mentioned, and not delilah & Charles issued or Queen issues. They made Goodiva out to seem really childish and needy and dependent. Like her life was a mess. I strongly suggest in the future maybe the author can read her own books and not make them so long.

What a Secret!
This author never fails to bring forth another cannot put down! From the beginning to end I was sprung! Good it's and the Prince kept me glued to their story! Plenty of aCtion and heroism in this story by all characters, I so loved the three friends and their relationships, the man in was the good and the bad Goodiva's life . And she loved it as he loved her! Her two friends sealed their pact for life! Plenty of suspense but loyalty kept each person going Secret not only was Godivas's life but all involved in this story, you will not be disappointed! Her best friend Delilah's story is next, I cannot wait, because coming from this author I will not be disappointed!

So much!!!!!
This book had so many twists and turns and angle .So is Jason a good guy or bad ??Is he dying of not does he truly love Shelley or is he just obsessed with her ?Why would queen help him or was she some how connected to him in some way that we haven't figured out .I truly hope that another book with a belly an jaxon comes out and to find out why see doesn't trust him but queen does .There has to be more to the story than we we and what part does Maverick play in all of this.The book has brought me back to the reading of the old school book sienna use to write and I hope this turns out better than the battagila's

Sienna Mynx has done it again! This is so different from the mafia stories and it was at first confusing but I enjoyed it. The three friends: Goodiva aka "Shelly", Queen and Delilah aka "Dee" all grew up together and kept in touch into their adulthood. By the end of the book, Queen proved to be the stronger character and I loved her support to Goodiva. I am glad that Jaxson aka "Asad" and Goodiva got their HEA. I am not going into details to ruin the story for future readers but this was a good read!

I want to say this was a good read, but the storyline was chaotic to me. There were so many different themes I couldn’t focus on the story, I wasn’t sure if this was supposed to be a romance or a conspiracy theory. I kept reading because I wanted to see how it ended but I didn’t feel a sense of fulfillment at the end, just some confusion.

Give This Book A Chance...
I almost did not give this book a chance. To me it started out slow and I had to put it down to read something else, but once I resumed, it was difficult to put down because I need to know what was happening next. I look forward to reading Delilah's story, hope that Queen has one, and hope the sisters are able to be together again.

The way the book started I didn't think I would enjoy it. But it got good and and I was hoping he wouldn't be who everyone kept saying he was. I was disappointed that she would lose faith in him and it cost her. In the end he gave up a lot to be with her and she finally did what she had to for her family.

Not the Usual
The author is brilliant with a knock for telling stories and I am always waiting for the next story. However, this book was hard to understand and read unbelievable. I love to support my people so I buy their books, but the stories have to make sense, cohesive and entertaining. I have faith she will deliver.

Good read im glad I read it only thing was when jaxon turned he was still all for her but it hard to watch how he did her when they left but it still was a food read an she was able to get him back cant wait to read the next book

2.5 Stars, I found the book was okay, a little confusing towards the end and found it was flat, left you thinking that it was going to get better, but it never did, for me.
The friends relationship was to complicated and distracting.
