THIS is why I love to read! We can never know where there'll be a treasure trove of knowledge to absorb (along with delicious descriptions of certain beloved characters).
I'm 'reluctantly' (see below) giving this book 5 stars because I learned so much about military gear and how a covert infiltration could happen, and the author's ability to translate Twilight canon characters into an AH story. I appreciated her respectful acknowledgement of which military technologies existed in 2012, and what she imagined. Her glossaries were thorough and clear, but not dry. As a retired science teacher, I loved her inclusion of physics, chemistry and biology that were reader-friendly.
The 'reluctant' is because the author DIDN'T FINISH THE BOOK! ACK! If you read to the end of what she did write you can guess the rest. But still. I do understand how an author's real life can impact their use of precious time, and I don't harbor any animosity toward her. Just wish she'd completed this story!!
I plan to check out her other stories and I hope that they're as good as this one!!

This story was a gripping roller coaster ride with lots of humor and some romance sprinkled in between fire fights! It was so hard to put down in order to do things like eat and sleep. The author obviously did a ton of research and shared that knowledge throughout the story, giving even more depth to this amazing story!
