18+ for language and sexual situations...

Andrew “Wasp” Marshall, VP of the Dead Presidents MC, rides life like it’s his bike, at full speed with no real destination. But when he sets his sights on an irresistible new bartender with a comical little kid, Wasp will have to decide if he’s willing to give up his carefree lifestyle and buckle down to become the man she needs.

Carly Cooper is a survivor. When an old friend turns from protective to possessive she packs up her five-year-old son and flees to Seattle, leaving everything and everyone she knows behind. Carly has neither time nor energy for Wasp’s advances, despite his panty-dropping smile and made-for-sin body.

As things between Wasp and Carly heat up, Carly’s past catches up to her and she must decide whether to trust Wasp and the Dead Presidents, or to pack up and run again.

4 HAPPY STARS

This book was an unexpected treat, it’s been a while since I’ve picked up/read a MC, biker club book, since I’ve found the trope of club whores, treatment of women off-putting, but apart form a brief mention of a club whore at the start that was it – thank goodness. The members of the Dead Presidents biker club, aren’t your stereotypical bikers concerned with sex, drugs and violence, they’re ex-military, who want to give back, make a difference.

This book focuses on Wasp (aka Andrew Marshall), the VP of the Dead Presidents and single mum Carly. Carly is definitely not a push over and holds her own very well, resistant to any sort of relationship she tries to keep away from Wasp, but he doesn’t give up and his bond with her son is another unintentional way into her heart.

Carly’s son Trent was cute and funny, man was he funny. The way in which Wasp naturally thinks of Trent and ensures Trent is included was so sweet to see, it tugged on Carly’s heartstrings and mine.

One thing I wasn’t slightly keen on was the few times at the start that Wasp refers to women who want him, as being ‘thirsty’ for him – just felt a tad weird.

This is the first book I’ve read in the series, and I’m happy to say that I didn’t feel lost with it being book 3, characters from the previous books do make an appearance, but not in a way that feels like I missing something. The book can be read as a standalone. I started reading Trapping Wasp and the next thing I know I was reading the ending, it’s a pretty fast paced, humorous, and heart-warming story.

Let's start off by saying that this was a new author for us and we really enjoyed our first read by them.
I really enjoyed the story and its characters and I have to say what I loved most about the story is that the characters had me laughing through the entire story. For me this was a pretty tame MC romance read that mostly concentrated on the love story added with a bit of mystery.I loved what the club stood for and how they supported ex soldiers.

I really enjoyed all the characters but, Trent brought me tons of smiles throughout the entire story and I loved that he was a lot of fun and witty.I also loved that he was such a handful and that just made him more love-able as you never new what would be coming out of his mouth next.

Favorite character for me was Wasp he made me laugh and I loved how he was patient ,kind caring protective and willing to step out of his comfort zone for once to try and win the girl who stole his heart. I love that no matter what from the very beginning he treated Carly and Trent as a package deal and that he loved every minute falling in love with both of them.I also loved that Wasp actually let us get to know the real him and what was beneath that armor of the dark and dangerous playboy.

I loved Carly as well as she was easy to love right from the start. Both Carly and Trent suffered from incredible losses but , somehow she found the determination to go on and create a life for herself and her child while always looking over her shoulder for the next tragedy to happen hoping it wasn't her own family.

I am looking forward to getting caught up on this series and getting to know more about the other characters and their old ladies.

We loved it !

Recommend read to all! 5 stars

This book caught my attention, but I hadn’t read the previous books in the series or anything else by this author. Going in from the middle didn’t impact my enjoyment. I was able to read this as a standalone without issues.

Finally, an author who writes like she owns the mofo thing.

Writing…

Look, it’s a Sasquatch. Okay, I’m being dramatic, but I’ve just read a dozen books with zero aptitude for storytelling… so cut me some slack.

Seriously, I really dig this author’s writing style. It’s descriptive and engaging, showing you character personality, even in doing something as mundane as feeding your kid. There’s something very real about it. You feel the FMC’s plight as a single mom trying to balance life, but she doesn’t come across as a whine-poor me type of character. The author’s jam is inserting your ass in the scene, giving you a bird’s eye view, not just narration through it.

The writing is witty and snappy without sounding desperate or pretentious…

Seriously, my workplace held so much man-candy it should be named Vaginal Diabetes. But I was determined not to notice, blinders on, staying in my lane, minding my own damn business, and all that bullshit.

The writing gives you context clues and adds depth to what is being told without long, boring diatribe treating the reader like an imbecile or spending chapters giving monotone background.

My sweet little man had seen way more than any child should, and although the nightmares were lessening, I worried that they’d never go away completely. We’d escaped the fire of our past, for now, but it felt like we’d forever be singed.

Meet the FMC

I knew better. I’d seen way too much shit to believe in heroes. The only person we could depend on to keep us safe, was me.

Carly is jaded. She’s had a hard life and is working her ass off to protect and care for her kid. She’s tired. She has something in her past that both distracts her from life and keeps her hyper vigilant in surviving life. She’s not playing hard to get or being melodramatic about not wanting the MMC…

I’ve heard girls at the bar talk about you like you’re some kind of carnival ride that everyone should try. That almost everyone has tried. The carnival’s not my thing. It’s expensive, the food is shit, and the games are rigged. I don’t have the time or money for that sort of nonsense.”

Her voice is relatable, likable.

Meet the MMC

I’ll be dammed… a male voice that actually sounds male and matches his character profile. He’s not an asshole. He’s not so sexualized that he can’t have a NORMAL thought. Yet, he isn’t a stick in the mud or metrosexual douche. He’s… dare I say… a checklist of real life qualities.

Totally unique thoughts about insta attraction…

Sure, Carly had a banging body with great curves and those little red cowboy boots she wore with her Copper Penny uniform practically brought me to my knees, but there was more. Past her long dark hair, perfect plump lips, and big brown eyes, there was something broken about her. But it wasn’t her brokenness that pulled me in. It was her innocence, her mystery, and her potential. The kind of potential Gramps had seen the day he looked at that decrepit old 1975 Harley and decided he needed to have it.

Love it.

Angle of my dangle.

Omg.

He’s manly. He’s persistent. He’s funny. He’s absolutely likable.

More shit that I loved….

The MMC is a biker with a heart of gold and naughty, dirty mind.

A true relationship was built here before the sex.

The MMC worked for it with no reward in sight.

Coochie Doritos - I’ll leave that for my fellow readers to ponder. I laughed my ass off.

The club is typical in that attracts groupies, but they’re never on-page, and that’s not the focus of the story or the mission statement of the club. These are veterans bonded and trying to make a difference where and how they can.

I love the kid. Finally, a child who’s a pivotal part of the story and not just an accessory or break stage right prop.

I love how we truly get to know these characters beyond the bullet points.

A couple of things that could’ve been better…

While I appreciated the vet, addiction, and other side plot points… very touching. I think they were a little too long. It disrupted the very excellent pacing of the main plot. What I mean is that some of it was TMI, such as the beer goggles and play by play of the guy’s life story - would have been more effective and less disruptive if it was nuts and bolts.

I also think the bad guy could’ve been expanded upon. As it was, it felt like her fear and drama was hyper-flexed for cause and effect, not natural to the story. Him snapping and making such a public display was not congruent with what she said happened in the past. Trent is five … so this bad guy was just in pause through all those years? What made him snap? This is the one plot point that the author didn’t give enough for me to be invested, make it believable, etc. it needed more fine details and patterns of behavior.

Given what the bad guy did to the FMC in the past, the FMC completely overlooked that her current roommate could be in danger.

^^ These three points is what held me back from giving this all the stars.

Overall…

It’s a done and done storyline, but the author spins her own creativity around it in character personality. It’s not a dark MC club… not a dark romance… it’s hopeful without getting heavy, cute minus the cheese, and amusing without trying too hard. Five stars for the writing. Five stars for the characters. 3.5 stars for the story.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Carly is hiding with her son and has to work two jobs to barely make ends meet. Wasp meets her at the bar where she works where she shoots him down over and over again. Just when he is about to give up her son gives him a way to hang around and what follows is a remarkably sweet romance. I enjoy seeing the big bad bikers as teddy bears at heart when it comes to their family. Great character development and a nice romance that I really enjoyed so I give it 4/5 stars.

This is the third book in the Dead Presidents MC series of which I am now fully hooked.

Carly Cooper and her young son Trent have moved to town recently to escape ‘the bad man’ and a devastating loss. Now Carly’s focus is providing for her son by working two jobs and keeping a roof over their heads. She ignores the looks she gets from Wasp in the bar she works at and his attempts to get her number. She knows he is a good man but she can’t take the risk of investing herself in a relationship.

Andrew ‘Wasp’ Marshall is the VP of The Dead Presidents MC and is all for saving wounded and struggling Vets and ex-servicemen who have lost their way. He also helps out at the local school with his band of brothers to give the kids valuable lessons in life. It is here where he meets funny but cute Trent. When Trent gets into trouble and his Mom comes to sort it out, Wasp is surprised to see it is Carly. Seeing how Wasp interacts with her son and the good influence he appears to have, Carly starts to see Wasp in a new light which doesn’t help her fight to keep him at arm’s length.

This was a really engaging read from the start and one of my favourites to date (Link is still my man though!) I loved the connection between Wasp and Carly but I adored the connection between Wasp and Trent too. This funny little guy just melted my heart so I was rooting for him to get his step dad!

There was a suspenseful part from the past that eventually caught up with Carly which for me was a little weak and actually wasn’t really needed in the storyline as the romance aspect was strong enough on its own. Overall though I loved this book with the relationship development between Wasp, Carly and Trent. It was so heart-warming (and sexy with the Wasp and Carly alone parts!)

Another fabulous addition to the series and a four star read for me.

You know that feeling when you pick up a new book and within minutes you just know it’s going to a be a favorite? That’s what Trapping Wasp was for me. I knew within the first few minutes I was going to be in book heaven! Adorable sweetness, some serious swoon, fantastic humor, all along with a bit of mystery to really pull you in. Trapping Wasp has it all!
Wasp is probably going to forever remain my favorite in this series. His manwhore ways are a thing of the past the moment he sees Carly. His determination to win her over with both humor and sweetness kept me grinning while his protectiveness and sexiness had me swooning. The man is lethal to panties everywhere! All of that only gets better with the heartwarming moments of Wasp and Carly’s son.
Carly’s son Trent was an adorable little mini Wasp who had me cracking up more than anyone else. The things he would say and do had me dying from laughter! While Wasp and Trent were the two boys who stole my heart, Carly herself was what took this book to the next level. At times I may have found her walls as frustrating as Wasp did, but as the mystery of her past begins to unravel I came to learn she’s even stronger than I originally thought. Her drive to protect her son knew know bounds, mama bear is an understatement with Carly and the love she has for her child. I couldn’t help but cheer her on to finally get the happiness she deserved.

Harley Stone's books just keep getting better and better! Wasp shows a different side to him, and I loved him even more! We know all the Dead Presidents members are great upstanding guys, but Wasp has become my favorite! Carly is on the run from a "bad man" with her son, Trent, Wasp just wants in Carly's pants at first. When he realizes the little troublemaker he's been helping at the local school is Carly's son his thoughts change. We see Carly, Wasp, and Trent develop a beautiful friendship. Carly is scared for more because she doesn't want to put Wasp in danger, but she can only resist him for so long.

I flove how close their friendship develops, and that it started off with one. Carly wasn't a one night stand or a club girl, she is a single mom who is just trying to make ends meet while on the run. Wasp takes her son into account on everything he does with them. You don't just watch Wasp and Carly fall in love, you get to see Wasp and Trent fall in love in a different way. Like a father and son.

Harley Stone outdid herself with Wasp's story! I'm excited for more Dead Presidents members but I also know Wasp will be the one I go back and re-read over and over again!

Carly and Wasp show what you think you want and deserve and what you actually want and deserve may be at odds but there’s most definitely a reason to fate’s fickle plans. The hits just seem to keep on coming for Carly which is why she finds herself picking up stakes from Seattle and leaving everything she and Trent know behind. The very last thing she had the patience to deal with is a biker with a over inflated ego to start thinking of her as her next conquest. Wasp found his place when he found the Dead Presidents. His brothers, biker, and the occasional companion is all he needs to keep him content. That was until he caught a glimpse of Carly slinging drinks and was instantly captivated. She bewitches him and not only that he is compelled to become apart of her and everything she is. She running from something but he won’t let her run from this.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book

Trapping Was is book 3 in the Dead Presdents MC series by Harley Stone. The book is filled with a hot biker, a bit of mystery, a cool kid, and a beautiful Bartender. Even though this is book 3 it can be read as a standalone, like I did. I had no problem at all understanding any of the story due to not reading the first 2 books. I was immediately immersed into this story and stayed up way to late because could not put it down.

Carly is running from something. She has Trent her 5 year old son and will do just about anything to keep him safe. She works 2 jobs to make ends meet.

Wasp is a sexy biker. He owns his home, a bike, a jeep, and is the VP of the Dead President's MC. He meets Carly the new bartender at the Copper Penny Bar. He thinks at first one night stand, but as time goes on he just can't get her off his mind. He's never had a serious relationship but just may change his mind if Carly will just let him in.

I didn't think I was going to like this one because Wasp came off as a bit douchey at times. I hated how he hit on Carly all the time and didn't seem to want to take no for an answer. Things changed for me when I saw how he interacted with the kids at the pre-school and with Trent. He treated them like mini adults and listened to what they had to say. Sure he still hit on Carly, but it seemed like once he knew she had a kid he did it a bit more respectful.

I liked that once Wasp knew about Trent he included him in any plans he had for Carly, it almost seemed like he was winning over the kid, before mom, but honestly Wasp didn't have to win over Trent, Trent was ready for any male to be around.

I liked that at the end Wasp was there for Carly when trouble showed up, that he protected them both and then went to help her friend.

So the 3rd book in this series...about the womanizer Wasp. Curious to see how I'd feel about Wasp because I am not too keen on man whores. This however didn't turn out to be an issue. Mainly because the h was too busy surviving to be insecure about past lovers which was nice and refreshing. So Wasp, member of our Dead Presidents MC, has his eye on the new bartender Carly who keeps giving him the cold shoulder. Coincidence has it Wasp also does some community service, paying it back type thing over at Carly's son's school. So luck will have it, he has been bonding a bit with this Trent and yes, the little guy turns out to be the glue that brings Wasp and Carly together. So far so good. Even though it wasn't the most original of plots, I loved how the whole development was written. No drama or hysteria, just two people enjoying each other's company. I loved how Wasp had them stay over at his place...trying them on for size..

Wasp has been eyeing the new bartender Carly, but after months of rejections from her, he’s wondering if he should move on or keep persisting. Carly moved to Seattle after a string of tragic deaths of those close to her. But she has another secret and she’s not sure she can trust Wasp with it yet. When Wasp does finally enter the picture, he is her dream man in that he includes her son, Trent, in their every decision, and she couldn’t be more astonished when he does this.

A beautiful story, some laugh out loud moments that happen throughout the story which I loved especially when it contrasted the darker moments with the lighter ones and it was really good to learn more about Wasp and his family😍 Keen to see what Eagle and Link’s sister Naomi’s story is about❣️

Nice read

Entertaining and well written. Carly was a good mom doing her best despite the circumstances. Trent was funny and adorable. He would be a handful as a teenager. He made that book that much better with how many times and made me laugh. I really enjoyed his relationship with Wasp. As for him, Wasp was honest and committed to both Carly and Trent once he made up his mind and I appreciated that. Their connection felt natural and relatable. I’m only a bit disappointed by the ending that felt rushed and anticlimactic. A nice, fun read nonetheless !

I’m slightly disappointed. This wasn’t really a mc romance. I mean yeah, Wasp is in the club but nothing happened with it until the very end and even that was short lived. There was such a build up with the guy that was after Carly and it just fell kind of flat for me.

It didn't take long for me to be hooked, a few chapters in and I loved Wasp, Trent and Carly. The story is well written, keeps you engaged and by the end I was ready to grab the authors backlist.
Trapping Wasp is a solid 4 star read for me. It had great banter, romance and a little suspense to keep you on your toes.
Trent was an amazing character, I enjoyed him so much. I'm now a Harley Stone fand and am looking forward to the rest of this series.

Loved this book so much! It’s my favorite of this series.
Carly had a hard life and being a single mom with 2 jobs and running from a “bad man”
Wasp wanted Carly but had to gain her trust first.
Loved the relationship between Wasp and Trent.
With lots of humor, sweetness and swoon worthy moments, this book is awesome.
Can’t wait for more of this series.

Not bad...

Disappointing.

⚠️ As usual,there’s a chance of spoilers ⚠️

Honestly,I don’t know what the writer was going for with both this story and the heroine.
I felt strung along . There’s big build up,because the h can’t let herself “trust” anyone . She seems overly judgmental and paranoid . No one can truly be trusted. Not even her seeming “saint “ of a roommate, who is awesome to her supposedly and it’s trustworthy enough to leave her son w/at night.
Yet she lets her guard down w/No one. Not even us readers in her thoughts.
That bothered me. It bothered me a lot. I’ve read books where I felt like I knew more or got to know my h better in the first few pages or the book ,than I did by 50-60% here.
I figured surely she’d be bad,t abused/used or had her trust badly betrayed by someone she’d trusted. Especially the way she treated poor Wasp. The guy might have been a man slut before they met but he wasn’t ever a player just stringing girls along and he never did anything bad to her.
She was soo harsh and hard and mistrustful, I thought surely she’s just escaped a very BAD relationship.
Turns out ,No.
While Carly had had a hard life, being given up at a fire station as a baby. Stoners who eventually into meth heads as foster parents, she has two best friends who watched her back and a few others she could count on to help her out.
That’s a lot more than some ppl have had. Some ppl have horrible /shitty parents and not one true friend to call their own.
Yeah, she gets pregnant before she’s out of HS but even though he wasn’t the best the baby daddy /( one or her best friends ) steps up and is there for her.
Honestly she want doing that great but life was kinda average ,per se. Til a local crazy she grew up w/decided he wanted her.
I really don’t get what the writer was going for here. By keeping Carly soo tightly wound,Carly who shares nothing about herself ,not even w/us. We never get a chance to firm an attachment to her . Carly runs around for over 60% of the story ,just reacting to her son or Wasp, telling us why she’s a bad mom every five seconds while she works herself to death to provide for him and herself. Or drool over Wasp, tell us how others are drooling over Wasp or why no matter how kind and sweet and caring he is myself can’t let herself trust him.
She has not good reason fo4 not trusting him. She barely knows him . Is continually convincing herself she doesn’t want to know and or trust him. Even though she has NO good reason not to.
I Kerr going even though I didn’t really like Carly because I thought eventually there’d be this big reveal that wot,s make everything make sense.
Now when he find out what’s going on like around 75+80% right before that finally have sex ( which I no lingered cared about at that point) ,I got why she was scared. But her behavior through out the book and why she’d treated Wasp the she didn’t ring true foe me.
There was NO dee betrayal of trust. The nut after was known to be crazy. And she had had caring ppl in her life at times. And her rough life should have made her a better judge of character and made her better able to know when to judge a book by its cover and when a good decent guy was begging for her love. Wasp wasn’t for me but I could see why I woman might want him. Carly ? Not soo much. And dear lord, why is it ok to be psychologically messed up but everyone HASTO HAVE a perfect body. I swear I was glad the book was over just soo I didn’t have to hear hot “hot” Wasp yet again. And personally he’s not is he’s the guy on the cover.
This was ok,but it works be better KU because I can’t why anyone would want to read this more than once.

The story behind Wasp (Andrew), Carly and her son, Trent, is solid and filled with good chemistry, which makes this book an entertaining and engrossing read. The story is well written and easy in which to become emersed.

There are some moments that cry for a reality check. For instance, Wasp takes Carly and Trent kayaking but the description, and the fact that there are three of them sitting on actual seats, makes it seem as though they are in a canoe. Canoes are generally better for more than two people and paddling is much easier in a canoe (with multiple people). While there are 3-person kayaks, the description of their river trip had me picturing a canoe.

Also, Carly has no money – she is dirt poor, unable to go to a “real” restaurant (fast food is doable, apparently) and other treats are impossible on her budget. Yet she works two jobs, one as a barista and the other as a bartender. Both jobs accrue tips, particularly at a biker bar. Her extreme poverty is unlikely. While not making her rich, the tips, beyond her salary, would certainly support her and her son moderately well. That they had not been in a restaurant since coming to Seattle is a little too incredible, especially a pizzeria. We aren’t given many particulars but she makes $11/hr salary and $5/hr in tips at the coffee shop and for sure is making more at the biker bar. She has a roommate so shares living expenses and her roommate babysits Trent, so she has no childcare fees. Her biggest expense appears to be the tuition at her 5 year old’s school but as a low-income earner she has a government grant to help with tuition. And…she cannot recover financially from a trip to the YMCA on Father’s Day. Nope…too unbelievable.

There’s a misspelling and maybe a missed concept. The writer talks about a “short range thirty-ot-six” and that’s an incorrect reference. It’s written .30-06 which is a 30 caliber round that was developed in 1906. At the beginning of the 20th century, the years before 1910 were frequently referred to as “aught” followed by the year number. 1905 was “aught five.” And 1906 was “aught six.” So…the correct usage of the caliber could be written either as “.30-06” leaving it to the reader to pronounce it correctly, or “thirty-aught-six” which helps the reader with the pronunciation.

Trapping Wasp was fun to read. It had a little mystery, a little romance, a little comedy. A fine way to spend an afternoon: hot cocoa, marshmallows and a good book…makes life good.

Carly Cooper seems to be pulled in too many directions. Andrew “Wasp” Marshall wants something or is it someone he shouldn’t. The club he belongs to actually does some good in the community. This group shows the better side of an MC. I think some of you will be impressed with that.

Our author shows us how strong Carly is as a mother. She will do anything for her son. But it’s sad that for all her hard work, it only covers the basic necessities. This is just one thing that makes this story so realistic. It’s just one thing that I loved about this author – her story seemed so plausible. She creates some self-doubt for Carly that will make your heart bleed. Those who may have been in a similar situation will understand what she has to deal with.

Her son is your typical little boy, so expect him to steal plenty of scenes. And he’ll give you plenty of laughs. That alone would probably catch your attention but the author has created a temptation on two legs and his name is Wasp. The author takes her time to build a relationship between our main characters so they can get to know each other. Don’t expect a “wham, bam, thank you ma’am”. Her taking the time to really develop the story is what got me hooked. And having an ending that put a smile on my face didn’t hurt either. I got so involved that I got the book read all in one day.

This story could be read as a standalone but then I got interested in the secondary characters. I found that I had to know more about them. And what do you do when you want to know more? You go and read their stories and I already have my next book picked out. Knowing that there’s another book in the series getting ready to coming out has my next book after that already picked out.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Comprised of former military, the Dead Presidents is an MC dedicated to helping returning military reintegrate into society. They do their best to provide them with the resources they need to move on with their lives, regardless of what is needed. Whether that be a job, mental or physical support, or just brotherhood, they are there for each other when needed.

Wasp is a man that has never quite fit in. Coming from a large family full of over achievers, he has always felt like an outcast. Until he found the Dead Presidents MC, he wasn't sure where he belonged. Being a mechanic, he hadn't seen the type of action that most returning military has seen, and doesn't have to deal with the types of issues most do. He is one that provides the support needed. He is satisfied with his life the way it is, and is a stereotypical MC brother. He likes the freedom, the ladies, and the lifestyle. He doesn't think anything is missing, but after meeting Carly, he just can't get her out of his mind.

Carly just can't catch a break. Her life has been one bad turn after another. And just when she thinks she is moving on, finding the family she so desperately wants, those closest to her are lost in a tragedy, and she is running scared. She meets Wasp at her job, and is determined to resist him. She knows his reputation, and knows he isn't good for her. Besides, she isn't in a place to get involved, even temporarily, with anyone.

This story is a satisfying bit of MC romance. A strong story line, fun characters, and plenty of action combine to make a well written book that kept me entertained from the beginning to the end. Lots of heat, and more than a few laughs, lead me to recommend this book (heck, the entire series!) to anyone looking for some awesome reading.

I thought Trapping Wasp was my favorite in the Dead Presidents series they just keep getting better and better I can't wait to read what's to come in the next story and by the author . The chemistry between Wasp and Carly is super intense and when they finally get together be prepared for steam coming off your kindles / books . Carley was a good heroine even when she was being understandably frustrating by fighting the attraction for the hero she is also a amazing mother . Wasp Wasp WASP is oh so yummy this hero is just ... loved everything about him the way he is with those he considers family plus the way he is with Carleys son anybody say swoon and lets not forget this mans bedroom talents panties gone (wink) . Even though this is book three in the series it can be read as a standalone I highly recommend the other two books you don't want to miss out on those romances . The secondary characters are as lovable as the main and makes me want to see more from them and it's also great to see how past couples are doing . I'm so excited to see whats next for this series along with the authors other books .

Perfectly crafted fun MC story

There are several types of MC story and I like most types. This one falls into the category of “fun” MC story. Basically the MC is for ex-servicemen who have fallen on hard times and need the brotherhood of the MC to help them get back on their feet. They do charity work and are active in the community. Not that they aren’t bada**, but they are mainly a force for good rather than mayhem.

The book revolves around Wasp, the VP of the MC. He comes from a good home. He was an engineer in the Navy and likes being blue collar, despite coming from a white collar family. He never felt like he fit in but has a real home with the MC. He is very attracted to Carly a barmaid at the club owned bar, but she keeps fending off he advances.

Carly is a single mum working two jobs and relying heavily on her incredibly kind room mate. She left her home town after the death of her two best friends, worrying about being chased by a threat to her own safety. Her little boy, Trent, is hilarious! Wasp and some of his club brothers are involved at Trent’s school in an anti bullying capacity and has become good friends with Trent, without knowing who his Mum is, with whom he shares a very similar sense of humour. It is through that bond that Carly finally begins to soften towards Wasp.

It’s a lovely story of interesting people and it’s nice that for once the MC member is NOT the messed up one. Wasp is really normal, down to earth, funny and popular. There is some danger, but most of the plot is personality/emotion driven.

I really enjoyed the book. A great read.
