OH!!!!!! I LOVED this new book by author Carol Moncado! We caught a glimpse of what was going to happen in the last book (Small Town Girls Don't Marry Their Best Friends); but we had no clue why or how. Now we do but then the story is so much deeper!!
I absolutely loved that we visited characters from the Monarchies of Belles Montagnes series with a promise of more visits to come! That is one of my favorite things from this author. She never completely leaves past characters there in the past. She allows visitations, updates, and friendships.
Possible spoilers ahead...
The two main characters had an old pact with each other and they never expected to "cash" in on the pact. But, health issues and a broken engagement bring these two together. Secrets always have a way of coming out and they must navigate secrets from other people and from themselves. With mandatory work travel the two main characters have to see how much their promise to each other is tested. An explosion, a pregnancy announcement and a royal friendship ensues.
This book was such a great read and I always look forward to the next book coming out in this series. I hear that we finally get an answer that we readers have wondered about this whole series in the next book! Can't wait!
Do yourself a favor and purchase this book. If you are unfortunate to not have read other books is this series do so. You will not regret it!

So this is another fun book by Carol Moncado. The last three books in this series all deal with the Beach siblings in one way or another. Each is fun and very enjoyable. This new one is no different. This story is about Sean and Lexi and the pact they made when they were fifteen. Could they really keep it? Would their families understand or cause them problems? Can true love grow between them or will their pasts break them apart?
This book was so fun and entertaining, I actually read it in one day and was so delighted. It was full of fun interesting moments and also fun reconnections with a lot of the past characters from some of Ms. Moncado’s “Royal” series books. I keep thinking, “Oh, this is like a family reunion!” If you’ve ever read any of those books, then you will love this story because it’ll be like you’re back in those adventures.
Carol Moncado has a wonderful way of telling stories that will touch your heart and stay with you. They are the ones, you as a reader, can relate to. I know every time I pick up a book written by Carol Moncado I will be entertained. This book was exactly that!
I highly recommend picking up this book.
I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

In this latest release by Ms. Moncado, this charming story is about two good friends (from earlier in their life) who decide to get married. This is the fourth book in the Beaches of Trumanville series. This book focuses on Sean Beach who has recently broken up with his fiancé. Many years ago, Sean and Lexi made a pact to get married if they were still single when they were older. Lexi received medical news that was shocking. After hearing this news, she goes to Sean to see if he would be willing to marry her. This book is a great new addition to this series and follows a marriage of convenience theme if you like those types of books. This book is a romance novel with a little bit of suspense that will have you continuing to turn the page to find out what happens in the story. As a long-time fan of Ms. Moncado, I loved this book especially due to readers being able to catch up with characters from her previous novels. Readers better watch out in this book, there are even some suspenseful moments that occur! This book can be read as a stand-alone, but readers will enjoy reading all of the books in the series. I highly recommend this book and immensely enjoyed it! I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series!

Are you ready for another Small Town Girl story? I sure was! This one has a lot of ties to Moncado’s Monarchy of Belles Montagnes series, and includes a trip to Ravenzario! If you’ve been able to read Moncado’s earlier series, you’ll enjoy seeing a lot of old friends again in this book.

Once again, the main couple are physically attracted to each other initially, but they end up loving each other for the right reasons – inner character, Godly attitudes, and such things, rather than just shallow, surface reasons. And there are plenty of heart-stopping plot twists to keep you reading late into the night. This is a great escape from sheltering in place!

Loved this one. I feel like The author caught the essence of so many people who stay with a significant other and marry because it’s what’s expected of because they want to be together and have similar goals. On the other hand, she also caught how a commitment and mutual goals in people who enjoy each other easily turns to love. I loved the way the characters interact and how they have real relationships. The way she intertwines her stories with previous books (and likely future books) keeps me drawn in and allows me to feel like I know all the characters, even minor ones.
I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for this review but all thoughts are my own.

I really enjoyed Alexis and Sean's story. They've known each other for a long time and knew that getting along wasn't an issue. They made a promise to be each others back-up when they were younger but had to moved up the time frame. After making sure marriage was something they could both live with they decided to go for it! Sean's career was a bonus and seeing the royals is always welcome. I love the Beaches and the Braverman's so this was another cute story added to the Beaches of Trumanville.

*I was given an arc to review but these are my own opinions*

This story continues with more of the Beach family from previous books in the "Small Town Girls..." series. Sean and Alexis made a pact in their younger years to marry at a certain future point if they were both still single. You may think you've read this story before, but no one can make an old story new and fresh like Carol Moncado. Small town meets royalty as these characters also interact with Royal family members from another past series. The result is delightful, warm, fun and inspirational. I've come to expect nothing less from this author. I've never been disappointed.

Alexis, or Lexi approaches Sean about a plan they made in their teens and wants to activate it 5 years earlier than planned. He agrees and the books takes off from there. Working for Jonathan has him working different hours, but also some flexibility in some time off needed. Kenzie needs Lexi to join them on a vacation overseas, which she agrees to. We see lots of familiar names from Ravenzario, Mevendia and Montevaro. Heidi and a few others of the Beach crew have small parts in this one too.

I loved it. What made it extra special was all the characters who reappeared from other books. I love it when an author can tie things together. Having said that, this book can be read as a stand alone but is more fun having read the series in order and having read all of the author’s books...because let’s be honest- her stories are worth reading!

This was fun. I loved seeing old friends from other series! I also cannot wait to see what the deal is with the parents! As usual, the characters are the best part of the story. And I love when a “rich” character actually has a job. Not inherited money. And not the billionaire trope either!

Great story

I really enjoyed this story. Along with the trials of two friends who marry unexpectedly, there is visiting with royals and some suspense. It is good to visit some of the Belles Montagnes royals and get updates on them.

Two friends, a high school pact, and royalty, doesn’t get any better. Continue to enjoy the Beach and Braverman families.
