“I wish I could just date you.” I blushed and looked down at the floor, then shyly looked back up at my best friend Jordan.
“Laney, that’s horrible. I thought you liked me.”
In "The Fifth Wheel," Laney engineered one of the hottest dinner parties in the history of dinner parties. Two months later, though, she's still single and getting frustrated. Now, her best friend Jordan has challenged her to make it through three dates with someone - anyone - to prove that dating wouldn't destroy their friendship. So Laney hits the dating scene, as only she can. Buckle up for more of Laney's hot, sexy and hilarious adventures as she tries to prove herself... in all the wrong places.
I didn't love this book, mainly because I alternated between calling Laney and idiot and SMH because it's the typical cliche, people don't talk to each other. That's not my cup of tea and therefore, I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would.
But it kept my attention and was decently written with few errors. So just because I didn't love it, doesn't mean others won't. Rated up because I'll finish out the series.
