I wasn’t looking for a love connection.
But I didn’t count on Trainer.

Black leather. Intricate tattoos. Sculpted body.

He looked like trouble that I didn’t need.

Too bad he proved impossible to resist.

I found myself falling into bed with the tough biker.

But I had a dangerous secret.

Getting attached was a bad idea because I had trouble looking for me.

And I had to keep my son safe, no matter what.

I fled to La Playa to escape a nightmare.

Was it possible to find a future here with a good man?

Or would my past catch up to me and ruin everything?

This is the third book in the Outlaw souls series and it is just getting better and better in my opinion.

Eve and her son are on the run, escaping her abusive husband, she finds herself in the small town of La Playa after quickly changing her appearance and finding somewhere to live, the next step is to find a job. Trying to take every precaution she can she changes her name to Erica but finding a job is difficult as she needs to be paid in cash and she is relying upon fake ID’s, it’s when she manages to get a job at the local fitness centre that her life starts to change, she starts to build a life for herself and is making friends which is how she meets Trainer. She is immediately attracted to the biker and although she wasn’t looking for love she knows she has found a love that is true. She is just starting to relax into this new life that she is building for herself and Dominic but life rarely goes the way that you plan and Erica’s past is about to catch up with her, will she survive what is coming for her or is this the end?

Trainer wasn’t looking for love as a member of a biker gang he is never short of female companionship if he chooses but once he meets Erica she is all he sees. Things move quickly and before they know his feelings are stronger than he ever expected he has fallen for this woman and her son and he know that there is nothing that he won’t do to protect and keep them safe. But Erica and Dominic are hiding something will she trust him enough to let him in and when her past returns will he be in time to save the woman he loves and rescue her son?

This book has everything in it to be a thrilling read but there could be triggers for some readers in this book such as domestic violence and abuse so be aware when you pick this book up. However this really is a book you cannot put down all the characters are well written and I cannot recommend this book and series more. 4.7* Read and I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Book 3 in the Outlaw Souls series and it was a great addition to the series. Eve who is now Erica is on the run from her husband when she literally trips over seeing Trainer. Loved the chemistry between Erica and Trainer. This book was so hard to put down. Great read and I can’t wait to read more in this series.

I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

She was running from the painful past-to be safe, but found a beautiful future too. The series keeps getting better! Loved Eve, Trainer and Dom!

eBook copy received for a honest review.

It feels good that after Ryder took over, the Outlaw's have cleaned the street. Doing good for the community.

Eve “Erika” had an abusive husband, & a 7yr kid-“Dominic” to keep safe. The story starts off with her running to La playa to lay low, start a new life. I'm proud of her, she's a fighter.
Raul 'Trainer', the road captain, is in usual MC works. He was a foster kid, never had a good family. Until Mama Mae, who is like a mom to him (She's great!), Outlaw souls became his family too.

These two met outside 'Absolute fitness' (Swole's gym). The sparks were flying🔥
From Swole, he soon find out that Erika have a kid. Will he pursue her?

Cue their unexpected meets! 1st at the club ending with a searing kiss, there he knew they'd a connection worth exploring. Then in front of the library with Erika & Dom. Dom's amazing! He's an old soul.. has seen so much so young. He deserves all the Happiness❤ Erika's a great mom!

Even if they wanted to, Erika & Trainer's relation was never casual. It was intense, hot. The more time he spend with them, the more his feelings grew. They were both falling hard.. Park walks, leisure time pass.. just being a family. He's so loving with Dom too *swoon!* I love the connection these two formed!
Soon she finally told him about the past. It was a big step.

Las Balas were a problem, but they weren't the villain here. It was Jeff-her husband (soon to be ex!)
He called her, threatening. She was so panicked! I loved how Trainer handled it. He's so gentle with her..
If she kept running, it won't be life for her or Dom. So she choose to be here, fight. Live. With Trainer.

Everything was going great, Life was good. But then Jeff found her..
Omg, I hate that fucker! He's so abusive. I'm happy Dom ran & Trainer soon found her.. (helpful neighbors..😅) It was very painful. Trainer knew he has to straight Jeff up so he doesn't come after her or Dom. He was angry, frankly so was I.

The Outlaw's were big help! I'm happy Trainer handled Jeff, Jeff won't ever Harm the people Trainer loves again. All she felt was relief, happiness..Hope. She & Dom were finally safe.
Btw, now she can use her Real name too!

Trainer had always thought of himself as a loner, now he have Love, a beautiful family. AND he couldn't be happier❤
The epilogue was awesome! Loved seeing how Trainer, Eve, Dom and Mama Mae were doing.

P.s. so excited for the next book!

Another fantastic book to the Outlaw Souls series! The author brings strong characters in Trainer and Erica(Eve) and weaves an intriguing story that captured and held me from start to finish with all the twists and turns as well as the steamy chemistry and growing love between them. I loved reading their story and would highly recommend this book/series.

This is the third book in Hope Stone's Outlaw Souls series, and imo, it's far superior to the first two. That doesn't mean that the others aren't worth the read, I just feel like this one hits every aspect out of the park.

TW: domestic violence

Erica and her son, Dominic, are on the run from her abusive husband. She ends up in our little town of La Playa, and gets a job working for Swole (one of the bikers we've met in previous books) Swole owns the gym near the bar where the Outlaw Souls hang out. It's this proximity that brings Erica face to face with Trainer. While both are outwardly attracted to one another (it's a romance book, so we have that insta-lust, of course that we crave!) it's not until Swole and her partner, Tammy invite Erica out for an evening that Erica and Trainer meet.

I love everything about this couple! Erica is strong and protective of her son. She's not one dimensional. She is trying to get her life back, but also realizing that she may need to run, because doing whatever it takes to keep her son safe is her number one priority. If you read my other reviews, you know that I almost always dislike the "way too good girl to be real" characters. And I'm really hard on the writers who write female characters as virginal waifs waiting to be conquered by some big, strong, alpha male. Here's the thing: Erica married young, so she didn't have a lot of sexual experience. But it made sense to her story! So, it was easy for me to overlook, and even embrace the fact that she was inexperienced. Her story was realistic, in that way.

Trainer is everything that a book boyfriend should be. Strong, loyal, sweet, and fierce. I just really love the way his character is written. He's a badass biker, but he still has some insecurities. Out of the three bikers who Ms. Stone has given stories to thus far, Trainer is far and above, my favorite.

And what I fucking LOVE about this series is that the men aren't portrayed as your typical manwhores. Yes, they aren't virginal, saints. And there is mention of how they have always been able to hook up with women, without commitment, when they want to. But in most MC books, up until or even after the H meets our h, he is pretty much hooking up with anyone who is willing. And there is always talk of "club whores". There is also so much slut shaming because of this. It's supposed to make us like our h better because she's different than the "club whores" who are just there to bang a biker, but to me it always just feels like more of the women hating on women shit we see too often in romance books.

This MC series seems to be different in that it's really just more about the bikers and their story, not really the over the top biker lifestyle aspect. I really hope this trend continues with this series. There are enough of the same old, same old, when it comes to MC romances out there. Hope Stone's Outlaw Souls series is starting out as one that is moving away from the pack and that is so refreshing!

I look forward to reading about the rest of the men (and, hallelujah! women!) of the Outlaw Souls. (On that note, can we get a prequel for Swole and Tammy? I NEED their story!)

I received an ARC of this book. I have voluntarily given this review and, as such, it reflects only my thoughts and opinions.

Holy moly, this book had me turning pages and reading until I finished because of needing to know the outcome of Trainer and Erica/Eve's story. Erika and her son, Dominic are on the run from her abusive husband. They wind up at a duplex in the less nice side of La Playa. Once settled and after changing her looks, Eve starts trying to find a job, but it is hard because she has no identification in her real name and needs to be paid under the table, plus she has not found a babysitter for her son. As luck would have it, she gets a job at the fitness center where Swole, from the Outlaw Souls is manager and Swole sees something in Erica and decides to help her out.
Trainer's first contact with Erica is when he catches a glimpse of her coming out of the fitness center while he is stopped at a stoplight. Their eyes connect and everything else seems to fade away which causes Erica to step wrong and fall to the sidewalk. Trainer parks his bike and comes to her rescue, but Erica brushes off his concern and walks away. Their paths continue to cross and their attraction grows, but Erica has to figure out just how much information to trust Trainer with and Trainer is so used to being on his own that he isn't sure if he wants to be part of a ready made family. Throw in a sadistic husband, a vengeful neighbor, a meth-cooking rival gang member and a loving foster mother and you will agree that you cannot put this book down until the very end.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

There are several hot topics in this book: abusive husband, domestic violence, traumatized child.

Eve and her 7-yr-old son Dominic are running from an abusive husband and father when they end up in La Playa. She thinks she's done everything she can to hide, changing their last names, changing her hair color, using cash, eventually getting fake IDs in their new names. Eve, aka Erica, meets some other young mothers at the library and through them finds both friends for her son and a lead on a job at a yoga studio, run by one of the Outlaw Souls. Through the latter she meets what she knows is the hottest man she's ever seen: Trainer. Their chemistry is out of this world from the start and Trainer decides she's THE ONE. He also knows she's hiding something, and that something has seriously affected Dominic. One night she lets him know what that is, and he vows that if he ever met this man he might just do some damage. Eventually the husband tracks Eve and Dominic down and breaks into their home. Eve tells Dom to run and he does; the abusive jerk does his damage, but the woman who lives int he other side of the duplex calls the yoga owner, who notifies Trainer, and they race over to find her uncoscnous and bloody and no sign of Dominic. She ends up in the hospital and the Outlaw Souls set out to find Dominic. She starts to pack to leave, Trainer won't let her, and they begin their HEA.

I was given this book in return for an honest review.

love vs abuse

Erica (aka Eve) and son Dominic leave a very abuse relationship and move a few states away.
They move into a not so nice place to live but they deal with it the best they can.
Erica meets Trainer as she is crossing the street...eyes meet and instant attraction.
Trainer has never had this type of attraction to anyone and is out of his element.
Erica becomes the yoga instructor at the Gym that Swole owns.
Things are going fantastic until her ex (Jeff) shows up at their rental and beats the crap out of her once again.
She yells at Dominic to run and not to come back. He runs and does not look back.
Swole gets a phone call from Ericas neighbor.
She and Trainer haul it back to the apartment and find Erica unconscious on the floor.
Erica ends up in the hospital with bruises, a twisted ankle, broken ribs and a concussion.
Hawk helps to find out where Jeff is staying and Trainer goes to talk to him about leaving both Erica and Dominic alone for good.
Things go wrong and both Trainer and Jeff end up getting shot.
Trainer has to go back and tell Erica what happened and hopefully she will not end up hating him.
Ends up being the best thing that could have happened to Erica and Dominic.
I really hope you enjoy reading yet another great story of the Outlaw Souls by Hope Stone.

Erica was new to town but Trainer knew she was something special the moment he laid eyes on her. But she had a son and he was not into committed relationships. They could, however, not ignore the attraction between them and before long he was hanging out with her and her son. And then he learned what brought her to town - an abusive and controlling husband from which she ran and changed her name in order to escape from him. Erica is therefore living on borrowed time, prepared to leave town should Jeff find her and her son. But Trainer is not the kind of man who will let his woman be hurt or threatened. Will Erica be able to trust him enough to keep her and her son safe, will she be able to let herself be open to believe in an ever after? And will she be able to forgive Trainer for what he had to do to keep them safe? This is a story about loss and thinking you're alone in the world only to realize that may not be the case and that the people surrounding you become family even though you may not be blood related. And learning to trust again, and that kindness and happiness may be found with the most unexpected bunch of people.

So many emotions happening in this book. Love, Anger, Betrayal, Lust, Loss, Hopelessness...Trainer, a man going through life with the family of his choosing. He entered the foster system as a youth and finally ended up with Mama Tammy, the best foster mother. He chose to leave her house when he aged out and joined his new family, The Outlaw Souls. They were his brother's and while they were his chosen family and they take care of their own, he still felt alone. Felt that he should always be alone. That is until he sees a drop dead gorgeous woman coming out of the fitness center. Erica notices a hot biker looking at her as she exits work, and falls for him. Being a single mother on the run from her abusive husband, she does not want to draw attention to herself. But there is a pull like no other force between her and Trainer. Will her past and his feeling of being a bachelor push them apart or will they get a happy ending after so much trouble? While Ryder is still my favorite and I hope to get more glimpses of him and Paige, Trainer and Erica have so much to look forward to in life and I enjoyed their story!

Don't touch what is his once he has claimed it

Trainer is the third book in the Outlaw Souls series and is about Trainer and Eve and her son Dominic. This book is well written and has an interesting and somewhat emotional story-line. Eve and Dominic, who is eight years old, have been through a lot with her abusive ex and now she is trying to make a new life for them the best she can, while trying to hide from her ex. She ends up crossing paths with Trainer and it is high octane explosive chemistry between them. For Trainer it is immediately knowing she is his one and he will do whatever it takes to have her and Dominic. That includes being protective and possessive and using his brothers from the MC when required.
The author is nicely progressing in her writing with this series. Things are starting to get more series and a bit darker with each book. With Trainer she has done a great job.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This was a great read and another look into the Outlaw Souls. Trainer is a confirmed bachelor and he coordinates the rides the the MC does either for charity or fun. Erica was new to town with her her son Dominic. She was looking to start a new life. When their eyes collided on the street one day it was like a nuclear blast!
I really felt for the characters in this story. Everyone can usually relate to how one decision can negatively affect you for years. Getting her son away from all that was her motivation. She had to be Strong, fearless and brave to accomplish what she had done. I rooted for this couple by page 3! First few pages were scene setters for which we would be clueless without that setting.
It made me cry a few times but I also enjoyed the witty snarking at times and the flirty barter between Erica/Eve and Trainer.. who knew a big bad biker could have such a big heart! (Sigh) it s a great addition to the Outlaw Souls Chapter.

I reviewed a complementary copy of this book.

Family Solidarity

This story was a rough ride. The main female character had past abuse issues she was dealing with. She was a very strong, determined and fearless woman when it came to raising and protecting her child. This was a very down to earth, grass roots type of scenario with some gruesome pieces. The main thing I found about the novel that struck me most was the solidarity of the family that the main male character had and that unwavering support they provided. There was a very strong family feel to the story line. The main male character was rough around the edges and appearance, was where it counted, he was loyal, loving and most of all thoughtful. Lots of action and adventure in this story along with angst, drama and perseverance.

I've read the two previous books in the Outlaw Souls MC about Ryder and Pin but there was definitely something special about Trainer he's all muscle and tattoos he looks like trouble and to any but Erica to her he becomes her rock and protector he wasn't looking for and instant family but now that there his he won't let anyone take them from him.

Erica and her 8 yr old son Dominic are running from her husband Jeff he's wealthy has power and influence but he also evil and he's abused Erica (Eve) for the last time. I've run changed my name and found friends and romance in Las Palos but then Jeff finds me and after what he dose Trainer won't let him get away with it he won't get away with all the abuse this time. This book has fire, danger, love, and one nasty piece of crap that will get whats coming to him.

I really enjoyed Trainer. I really liked that it touched on a subject that can be painful to someone and how it affects them. It’s really hard for the victims and how much inner strength it takes to overcome. Erica/Eve hades that strength and was able to move passed it. This is the love story of Erica/Eve and Trainer. I had tears at the end for the love that Trainer express through his actions more than his words. Sometimes or even most if the time actions speaks louder than words ever will. That may be a saying but as with most they are the truth. This MC book focuses mostly on Erica/Eve and Trainer but as has some of the Outlaw Souls and the meaning of family. This book is an excellent MC book and I highly recommend it.

Trainer aka Raul was a force to be wreaked with. He was alone and started to feel like he wanted more than one night stands. He was on his way to head to the bar when he saw her, Erica aka Eve. She was curvy and beautiful. He had watched her till she fell and he came over to her. That’s how they met. Erica is running from her abusive husband with her son Dominic. They have fake names and she was holding it all in. Then her and Trainer started out a relationship that she had to open up her past life to him if they wanted things to work out for them. To say it was a shock is an understatement but he stuck by her. He was always there for her and Dominic. Till one day her husband found her and all hell broke out. Will she stay with La Playa and Trainer or will she take off and start over? You need to read this if you want to know. Great book!!!

While his is the third book in this series it can be read as a stand alone but do yourself a favour and read Ryder and Pin as well you won't be disappointed

Erica (aka Eve) and son Dominic are on the run from her abusive ex and she has no intention of ever getting involved with another man That is until she meets Trainer the attraction for both of them is instant and he has never connected with a woman like this ever. Then her ex Jeff shows up and Dominic runs to the yoga stdio where Erica has been working and Trainer runs to her rescue but things don't work out how they should and not only Jeff is shot but Trainer as well Can this end well and will Erica finally get the love she deserves Looking forward to more books in this wonderful series about a strong family that is the MC

I am in love with The Outlaw Souls series. All the books are exciting and steamy. In this one Trainer the road captain of the crew got involved with a single mother who was new to town and had some things in her past that she was trying to keep secret. Like all the other Outlaw Soul stories, the rival motorcycle gang Las Balas had a part to play in this series, however, in this story they were not the main antagonist to the story. I enjoyed how the characters in this series faced different problems than the characters in the previous books. I can't wait to read the next book! Mentally, emotionally and physically abused Erica Mills grabbed the few things she could carry and her small son then she ran! Though Erica no doubt escaped a problem, she possibly landed in a bigger one as she settles into life in LaPlaya. Just as she finds a job at a MC club members’ health club, Raul/Trainer knocks her off her feet.

Trainer didn’t know he wanted to settle down until he saw Erica and couldn’t get her off his mind. It took very little time for Trainer to decide he wanted the dream with Erica and her son. Trainer’s not as shocked as he should be when he learns Erica’s story as problems Erica didn’t realize she had knock on her door.

This is one of my favorite plot setups.. a single mom and her child on the run from a dv situation and seeks refuge in town with a heavy mc presence.. and falls in love with a big bad biker.
I just wish she would have called him by his real name, I don’t like when they continue to call the by their club name. I also wish we saw them connect a little more emotionally and see trainer connect a little more with Dominic. He did a little but I wanted to see deep rooted relationships form. I wish there was a little more found family too. And I wish trainer didn’t call mama Tammy his foster mom continuously.. she was obvi his mom through and through

A woman on the run just wanting to make a new life for herself and her son. A life where they don't have to worry about being hurt and maybe she can make her little boy smile again. She wasn't looking for love or lust, but somehow she found it. When she runs into a huge biker named Trainer. They're fascinated with each other. One look at her and all he thinks about is keeping her safe. Even though he has no idea what she's running from. This is a really good story

Trainer so the bad boy with a good heart! Biker sees beautiful woman...beautiful woman sees biker...beautiful woman trips because she’s staring...biker stops to help. Yep, that’s how they meet. But that’s not where it ends! She’s running from something and when she decides to be honest with Trainer, he knows he wants to protect her and her son to keep her in his life. Is the past too much to protect her from? Trainer and “Erica” are instant chemistry and full of passion. They fact that he loves her and her son makes the story that much better. Take some time and enjoy!

This was my first read by Hope Stone but certainly will not be my last. I desperately want to read books 1 and 2 of the Outlaw Souls now! Trainer is the Outlaw Souls road captain and meets Erica outside of a gym. Erica and her son recently moved to town and Trainer's interest is immediately captured. Their story is full of drama, action, and steam. I loved the connection they shared and can't wait for more from this series.

This is the 3rd book in Hope Stone's newest MC series. I enjoyed reading this and I am looking forward to reading the next in the series. Trainer is the Outlaw Souls road captain and Erica/Eve is a married woman with a seven year old child. These two meet and it's instant attraction. This story is fast moving with drama, action, and romantic suspense. There is a scene of domestic abuse that could be triggering for some but it's tastefully done and not too graphic. The third Outlaw Souls MC story. This is a fast paced, standalone, intriguing story. There is plenty of action, drama, adventure, danger, suspense, enemies, humor, fear, courage, truth, romance, passion/lust love and more. Erica and her son Dominic and running from an abusive, destructive relationship. She meets Trainer crossing the street and there is that instant connection. So much going on that you'll have to read the story to really enjoy it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fleeing from an abusive husband, Eve and her son start a new life in La Playa. Unexpectedly, she comes in contact with “Trainer”, a rugged and leather clad senior member of the Outlaw Souls MC. Trainer becomes Eve’s salvation and knight in shining armour.
This is the third in the Outlaw Souls series, and I found it unputdownable! Hope Stone has again presented a well crafted and action packed plot to drive a delightful and spicy romantic tale...

I received this book gratis as an ARC copy.
