Welcome to Brooks Crest aka BC!
Mess You Up is the first book from Cormac aka Mac of Brooks Crest.
When your rich ass parents want to save face, after being done with you and your antics. What do they do? They send you to Brooks Crest, the last resort, the place considered for the worse of the worst.
Which is where Mac’s story is, was and always has been. For how long that truly is? We’ll never know.
Considered at the top of the food chain, Mac is a badass tough guy who you wouldn’t want to be caught staring at without a reason. Not unless you want to be dead man walking.
What you see is what you get. Douchebag check, badass check, manwhore 50/50 on that and asshole check. Yet even with all that, he still has a heart somewhere deep, deep, deep inside of him. Proven when he sets his sights upon Jolie and experiences love at first sight. And then to continue to fall deeper head over heels in love with her.
Definitely didn’t expect this for a tough guy like Mac, but believe it because it’s true.
Though it seems that this story sets up a path for us to gain more knowledge into what BC is about, through Mac and what he does in terms of business. Unfortunately, it isn’t all so clear.
In fact when you read this, you will probably be annoyed and frustrated because rather than Jaxson giving us answers about all things Mac. Instead he lures us into a trap, only to leave us hanging with no answers and just cryptic views/thoughts and more questions than you began with.
Mess You Up is definitely what this book does to your head. Especially if you thought or expected it would be straight forward. Because it’s not, as that would be too easy for Jaxson to just lay it all out on the line for us.
So a word of advice, prepare yourself with something to punch, throw or kick, instead of your Kindle or iPhone or whatever device you use. You will need it once you get to the end of this book, because it will leave you frustrated and annoyed more than ever.

Amazing
Another amazing bookbfrom Jaxson Kidman. This one from Brooks Crest and is about Mac. Mac is a criminal and runs everything at BC, but things get complicated when he falls for Jolie who is a straight rule follower studying to be a lawyer. Exciting ending and can't wait for Jolie's book to find out what happens.

Hidden Creek, Bay Falls and Brooks Crest are a lot alike. They all have money and perspective leadership to keep the peace and hand out punishment as needed. As far as punishment goes, in some cases, Brooks Crest takes it a little too far. Out of the three, they are definitely the most dangerous. Mac is their leader. He runs BC, the town, the cops, all of it. Born into privilege, Mac's life took a turn and he ended up at BC, the place rich kids with bad reputations are sent, not to redeem themselves but just to get them out of the way.
Jolie is with her friend Violet when she meets Mac at the beach. Instant attraction? Maybe. Or maybe she's just caught up in the moment. He's handsome and definitely in control of the situation developing before her. Mac is fixated on her and he's about to pounce. He's all that's wrong and bad in this world. Jolie is goodness and light.
Opposites may attract, but polar opposites? As their connection deepens, it's clear why these two should never be together, but Mac isn't one to back down when he's being challenged.

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Brooks Crest series and ends in a cliffhanger. Jolie is a typical rich girl. She is living on her own and studying law. Mac is a typical bad boy. He attends Brooks Crest, which I believe is a college, but the school was described as a “last chance institution”, which seems more like a high school, but Mac is older than a high schooler. I need more clarity on what the school is. Mac is a drug dealer. He is the alpha of the school and area. He has a gang that helps him dole out punishments and collect money for this scary older lady Mac calls Momma.
>I needed more back story on Mac. There is a hint that he used to be rich and Momma is not really related to him, but where his family is now is not revealed. Mac sees Jolie and falls instantly in love. He sees so many women. What was is about Jolie that attracted him? Mac is very arrogant. He has few redeeming qualities until way later in the book. Mac causes Jolie to stand up for herself, but what does Jolie bring to Mac?
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 3 stars. There needs to be much more character development.

The H is disgusting pig.
I did knew the H was going to be dirty but you know how they get better and we start loving them.
But anyways the problem here was not the dirty yuck manwhore H.
It was the h.
When the H sees her for the first time he is smitten.
Yeh, but that doesn’t mean he is celibate.
He f*cks a random girl that night. So yeh he is disgusting.
So when they first see each other, she is at the wrong side of beach where the baddies like H loiters. He even beats a guy in front of her. And then tells her to meet him back tomorrow at the same place like nothing happened.
And she comes the next day to the same beach. So that was so uncool. She was desperate. Inspite of seeing what the H did she still comes to him like a puppy. Clearly she has no class. I wish she would have skipped and let the H come chase her.
Anyways I’m done. I don’t like such desperate girls.

Just WOW!! I'm speechless!!
Mac! Jolie!! Good lord what a hell of a story! If you have been with is series from the beginning #hch and #bfh well let me tell you, #BC is on a whole other level! Makrles the other two like a skip through the park! Mac is every inch the bad boy and more and Jolie is the innocent lil girl who dives head first into Mac's world and good lord what a world it is. Him and his crew are nto all sorts of tunes ngs and then you toss the n thus so called lil old lady Mama Dae and there's nothing sweet about this old broad. As I always say it I don't want to give away spoluers but hoky hell Jaxson has pushed that bar higher again. I highly recommend this and read this first before Jolie's POV.

This is about BC and Mac rules BC no one stands in his way or nothing happens that Mac doesn’t know about. He is the ultimate bad boy, the only person Mac respects and listens to is Mama DAE and his best friend Les.
When Mac meets Jolie he’s instantly attracted to her and wants her but Jolie is a good girl how will this end? I didn’t think I was going to like Mac as he’s been in previous books, but he’s grown on me.
Jaxson loves to keep his readers on his toes and puts twists and turns in his stories it leaves you guessing and wanting more and screaming at your kindle. One amazing must read, it’s 5***** from me

They say opposites attract, and that has never been more true for Mac & Jolie. Mac is the all round bad boy, leader of BC (Brooks Crest), while Jolie is the good girl studying at law school. This story is intense, and will leave you with so many questions. As for that ending, OMG!! Jaxson always knows how to leave you wanting more. I could not put this book down, and cannot wait for the next book to be released.

They are so wrong for each other that it makes it smoking hot right. If being together were only that simple. Of course there are secrets, half truths, and a lot of untold things to uncover. Brooks Crest where the richest badest of the bad kids go
Wow!! Just Wow!! Really!! Mess You Up is a fitting title. Mac is one badass dude and this is his story. Jaxson continues to blow my mind. Each book he writes gets better and better. This one is definitely wild and crazy. It has sex, secrets, love, trash talking and ass kicking. What more could you ask for. I can't wait for Brooks Crest book#2. Great read.

Smooth you out!
Mac runs the crew at BC with an iron fist and controls the areas around. He meets Jolie at the beach and is drawn to her innocence. How does someone on one side of the law manage a relationship with someone learning to be the law? Another good read from Jaxson that gives you question after question and leaves you with a cliffhanger you know will haunt!

Review
From the beginning of the story I was captured by the emotional connection between these characters. Mac is the very definition of a bad guy. Jolie is from a different world than Mac and yet somehow once she gets in the relationship with Mac things change and they start getting more intense with each other’s relationship. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Wow! This book is dark, its hot, and i cant wait for the next one! The cliff hanger was intense!! Falling in love with the bad guy isnt always the easiest emotion to avoid. Jolie and mac have a hot and intense relationship. Trust me you want to read this!!!

Intriguing story

Mac & Jolie what a first book. I can’t wait to see what happens. Her family is a mess, now she is in danger. But not just being with Mac with whoever is at her door and her dad. Mac you want to hate him but you can’t. And the crew need more about them.
